General overhauling of Hot water Generator Servicing of AHUs and Ducting infrastructure along with allied preventive and Breakdown Maintainence works to Central Heating System at Govt. Superspeciality hospital Srinagar

Opening of Rapid Therm -03 lac kcal/hr Hot Water Generator. Dismounting of the burner gun assembly, removing the front plate coil from it by employing chain pulley block. The job involves thoroughly removing soot and carbon deposits from shell and coil by using wire brush, scrapers and blower etc. The inside of the coil shall be cleaned by circulating through it a solution of de-scaling compound, sulphamic acid powder of Thermax Make (approx . 20 Kg) and water continuously for 24 hr with the help of pump while maintaining a PH of 1-2. The solution is to be circulated from tank/barrel/trays. All consumable items viz. Brushes, detergent, diesel/kerosene oil, dhoti cloth etc. required shall be provided by the executing agency. The HWG shall then be reassembled, tested and commissioned after overhauling. The job includes replacement of all seals, gaskets, asbestos rope, asbestos belt, asbestos sheet, defective nuts, bolts etc. as required The tools and tackles required for the job and any other consumables shall be provided by the contractor.

Replacement of Refractory of Rapid Therm-03lackcal/hr Hot water Generator.The job includes complete removal of old/damaged refractory and thorough cleaning of refractory surfaces/bases. Angle Iron hooks/holdfasts shall be firmly welded to the refractory base wherever necessary and collar of the top plate shall be repaired if required. Refractory shall be laid in "fire Crete Super" brand castible cement.

Complete servicing of various capacities of AHUs viz-a-viz metallic filters, airdampers, shields, motors, belts, blowers and finned hot water coils etc. All the parts are to be cleaned and washed using detergent, high presure water jets and kerosene oil/diesel. The coils are to be descaled by circulating sulphamic acid powder with appropriate quantity of water for 4 -5 hrs till working PH is achieved (PH of 1-2). All necessary items viz.pumping units, buckets, piping and litmus paper (PH 1-7), gaskets, nuts and bolts, dhoti cloth shall be arranged by the executing agency. Further, the job includes greasing of bearing pins and the moving parts and testing of AHUs for noiseless operation and satisfactory performance.Thejob also consists of checking out leaks to the hot water coils and repairing of the same. The job also includes alignment of the shaft and dampening of the vibrations. All tools and tackles,consumable items which shall be required during execution of work shall have to be provided by contractor.

Servicing of Beacon Make 15 HP circulation water pump/s by way of removing/ dismantling of the pump assembly followed by checking of impeller,diffuser rings, bushes bearing, and mechanical water seal for complete water leakage seal. The job includes replacement of diffuser rings, bushes bearing, and mechanical water seal by the firm. The pump/s should be reassembled and sealed back with packings for mounting into the central heating circuitry followed by testing and commissioning.

Repairs/replacement of damaged inlet/oulet connections of FCU's/Radiators in various sectionsofthehotwatersystemincludingdismantlingofthedamagedinlet/outletpipe connections of the radiators and then providing/fitting of new 304 Grade Stainless Steel cladded EDPM pipe with washer and nuts other necessary fittings including Ball valves, elbows, Tees, Unions, Adapters, etc. to make the FCU's/Radiators fully functional. The job also includes testing of the system for its satisfactory performance.

Servicing of 5 HP feed water pump/s by way of removing/dismantling of the pump assembly followed by checking of impeller, diffuser rings, bushes bearing, and mechanical water seal for complete water leakage seal. The job includes replacement of diffuser rings, bushes bearing and mechanical water seal by the firm. The pump/s should be reassembled and sealed back with packings for mounting into the central heating circuitry followed by testing and commissioning.

Servicing of FCU's of various capacities/sizes installed atvarious locations, by using skilled labours and technicians. The Job includes dismantling of indoor unit filters and cleaning it thereof and removing of dust and dirt from the outdoor unit by way of spraying suitable chemical agent.The Job further includes checking all parameters of working and setting them right as per requirement The Job further includes assembling and reinstalling back all the items removed from the unit.TheJobalsoincludestesting the performance of the FCU unit on load.All the tools and tackles required at site shall be arranged by the firm.
