Improvement and maintenance work from Geratty - Kembakarai (existing damaged BT) forest road from km 0/000- 4/700 in Anchetty Range in Hosur Forest Division during 2025 2026

Work items

Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting wild vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees of girth up to 300mm, removal of stumps of such trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned, up to a lead of 1000 m including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness as per Technical Specification Clause201.

Earth work excavation and depositing on bank with initial lead of 10m and initial lift of 2m in hard stiff clay, stiff black cotton hard red earth shales, murram gravel stoney earth and earth mixed with small size boulders as per SS20B for FORMATION OF SIDE DRAIN as per MORT&H

Picking the existing BT surface upto 50mm thick as directed by the Departmental officers and collecting the picked up salvaged metal and stacking the same for reuse and depositing the debris excludung cost of materials including all labour charges for picking and all other tools and plants employed of the work and including all other incidental charges etc.,complete as per clause 111, 112, 202, 305.4.3 of MORTH - Vth Revision etc.,complete.

Providing laying and compacting Granular sub base well graded material on the prepared surface by mixing the amterial, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carring of mixed material to worksite, spreading inuniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per clause 401 for grading-V (Filter / Separation layer) plant mix method as per morth Rev.5

Wet Mix Macadam (Table:400-13) (Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub- base/base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per clause 406)

Prime coat: Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-I type) on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per clause 111, 112, 502 & 900 of MORTH Vth Revision - over WMM/ WBM

Tack coat - Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-I type) using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.25 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom as per clause 111, 112, 503, 900 of MORTH Vth Revision - over granular surfaces treated with primer

Bituminous Macadam: Providing and laying bituminous macadam with hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder (Viscosity Grade 30), transported to site, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled as per clauses 501.6 and 501.7 to achieve the desired compaction, complete as per clause 111, 112, 501, 504 & 900 of MORTH Vth Revision- Grading II (Table 500-7)

Bituminous Concrete (Table 500-17): Providing and laying bituminous concrete with hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder (Viscosity Grade-30) at percentage specified by JMF of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH specification clause No.507 complete in all respects) - Grading-II
