RESURFACING OF ROAD AT VARIOUS LOCATION UNDER AGE B/R-I, GE BABINA

Surface excavation n.exc (not exceeding) 30 cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in hard soil complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removing excavated material exc 1.5 m but n exc. 5 km and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cuttingonly with power roller 8-12 tone including filling in hollows and depression which occur during the process of of rolling complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for 150mm thick Moorum,Spread,rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required and complete all as specified and as directed.(Rate quoted by contractor deemed included removal of excess soil/Addition of soil as required).

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous surfaces in area exc 400 sqm each and depth exc 50mm but not n. exc 100mm deep including dispose off the retrieved 500 mtr from site complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L 200mm thick Spread Soiling (or sub base) with broken stone boulders or quarried stone, interstices filled, surface formed and rolled and considated to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L granite trap or basalt stone aggregate 150 mm thick in two layers (compac ted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, including rolling and consolidated to gradient materials and camber required complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally faning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a tack coat of bitumnous primer at 10 Kg per 10 Sqm using paving bitumen VG - 10 complete all as specified and directed.

Repairs to pot holes any depth exceeding 30mm depth, area not exc 1sqm each including sweeping free from dust & mud or water scoring sunken surfaces in roads paths etc, cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth making good by applying tack coat with cutback bitumen @ 5kg/10 sqm putting in pre mixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg/10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chipping ,6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam binder and chippings) depth of pot holes exe 30 mm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

M&L for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally faning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a tack coat of bitumnous primer at 5 Kg per 10 Sqm using paving bitumen VG - 10 complete all as specified and directed.
