Portable (mobile) Macronite earthing system complete with UL464 approved copper bonded earth rod 17.2mm dia 4.5 mtrs long electrode (1.5 mtr each brazed with 3mm thick copper plates of 250mm dia 03 Nos) buried in chemical mixture in appropriate quantity as specified by the manufacturer filled in a container of dia 300mm and 900 mm high made out of 3.15mm MS sheet. The copper plates to be brazed with copper rods and the complete earthing system as given in the digram enclosed. The macronite compound is to be used as per manufacturer's recommendation to obtain 1.0 ohms earth resistance value. Necessary ingredients and other items to be used as per manufacturer design and obtain desired value complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Payment shall be made only after satisfactory testing to the entire satisfaction of GE. The contractor has to make alternate earthing in case test result not found satisfactory without any extra cost to the Govt.and the quoted rate shall be deemed to include this provision. (ii)The contractor shall submit 1 year guarantee for earth resistance below 1 ohms and earth neutral voltage less than 1 volts. Make of Chemical - Macronite or equivalent as approved by GE.

Point wiring for one light/Fan/bell point controlled by one switch one way in & including PVC conduit or casing and capping as per site requirement using FRLS PVC unsheathed multistrand copper conductor cable 1.5 sqmm single core including 3 mm thick plastic laminated sheet cover over PVC / wooden Box and including earth continuity insulated PVC unsheathed(green colour) 1.5 sqmm copper earth wire connected to common earth dolly and making good the disturbed surfaces to match with existing complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (a) wiring shall be done by using proper colour coding. Make of wire : Polycab/Finolex/Havells

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60x60cmx6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25meters deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5meters below normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth lead wire 4.0mm dia by by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No 5 connected to earth test point all as specified and directed. Note: On testing after completion of earthing, if earth resistance of earthing is not found satisfactory, it will be redone by the contractor on his risk and cost.
