Using Soil Class SQ1
Using Soil Class SQ2 Earthwork in cutting in formation, trolley refuges, side drains, level crossing approaches, platforms, catch water drains, diversion of nallah & finishing to required dimension and slopes to obtain a neat appearance to standard profile inclusive of all labour, materials, plant & machinery, leading all cut spoils either to make spoil dumps or for filling in embankment with leads within 2 km on either side of edge of the cutting(s) including all lifts, ascent, descent, loading, unloading, bailing & pumping out water, if required, clearance of site and all other works incidental thereto for completing the work as per RDSO Specification No. RDSO/2020/GE: IRS-0004 with latest updated correction slips and to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. MT cables of all classification made from Low Relaxation strands conforming to IS:14268- latest version in Prestressed (Post-tensioned) Concrete girders/slabs etc. including supplying, cutting, making into cables with necessary spacers, colour coding, protecting with water soluble oil at all time, anchoring of cables, supplying and placing spiral corrugated type galvanized metal steel ducts sheathing made up of Cold Rolled Cold Annealed (CRCA) mild steel conforming to IS:513 of required diameter/ thickness, vent pipe, placing, bending, routing, fixing, stressing & grouting of cable ducts with cement grout, Anchorage sets in required number with provision for future prestressing if any including all lead and lift with contractor's own materials, labour, equipments etc. complete as per drawings & specifications. Rate also includes covering anchorage pads with epoxy mortar of approved quality to avoid corrosion. Cement for grouting to be paid separately. SCR-CONST-HQ-ENGG/SOUTH CENTRAL RLY Load testing of one or more spans of bridge as selected by the Engineer as per approved load test procedure following relevant IS/IRC/Railway codes with contractor's labour, deflection measuring instruments, loading materials, recording and analyzing the load testing results including all lead & lift, etc. complete as required. The rates are all inclusive and will be paid after load test is finished and girder is cleared of the kentledges/loading material etc. The load shall be 1.25 times the stipulated design load.

Providing cast in situ bridge number plaques as per Railway drawing in Each cement concrete 1:2:4 mix using 20mm hard stone aggregate embedded in 30mm notch in Bridge parapet coping duly engraving the letter and figures and an arrow indicating the direction of flow and finishing the top exposed surface with cement mortar 1:3, painting letters and figures with two coats of black enamel paint on two coats of white background with all labour, tools, cement, paint etc. with all leads and lifts.
Providing cast in-situ plaques for bridge foundations details of size Each 45cmx45cmx5cm in cement concrete 1:2:4 mix using 20mm hard stone aggregate embedded in 30mm deep notch over abutment & piers, engraving the letters & figures with CM 1:3 and finished smooth including painting letters and figures with 2 coats of black enamel and plaque with white enamel with all labour, tools, cement, paint, curing etc. as a complete job.

NSCON02009: Preparation and supply of drawings for major /RUBs/ROBs/ Each minor bridges with general arrangements, new / extension to BG standards (based on completion drawing of existing bridges/ rough sketches supplied by Railway), prepared on Auto CAD on 75 Micron Polythene film with Indian ink with different colour i.e. existing particulars in black & proposed in red colour with contractor's computer, stationery / staff, tools & equipment etc., complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. The name of the drawing shall be written bilingual language both in English & Hindi. Note: Total 6 sets of approved copies of plans shall be supplied by the contractor free of cost to the Railways in addition to the original drawing in tracing cloth or film and soft copy in CD
NSCON17001: C)Preparation and submission of Completion drawings of Each Major / Minor bridges showing plan, elevation, section, notes and other relevant particulars to appropriate scale as per Railway Engineering code, prepared in AUTO CAD on 75 Micron thickness film, including submission of check print for proof check, to incorporate corrections and modifications as suggested by the Railway administration. NSCON17002: Preparation and submission of Index Plan and Section showing Each/Km new BG line alignment, yards, contours, rivers, roads, lawns etc., from topo sheet and marking bridges, level crossings, curves, notes and other relevant particulars to appropriate scale as per Railway engineering code, prepared in AUTO CAD on tracing cloth along with six copies Ammonia/ Computer prints of approved drawings as per details furnished by Railway with indian ink in different colours i.e.existing particulars in black ink and work done particulars in red ink and other particulars in different colours with contractor's computers, stationery, staff, materials, labour, tools, plant etc., including incorporation of corrections and modifications as suggested by Railway administration as per special conditions and as directed by the Engineer-in- charge. Rate includes plan and section per km and drawings to be prepared separately for plan and section as directed by the Engineer-incharge. Note: CD of the same should also be submitted.
NSCON20004: Transportation of BG PSC mono block sleepers including Tonne turnout sleepers, P.Way fittings, etc., by contractor's road vehicles from nominated sleeper factories/ Depots/ yards within a maximum lead of 50 Km. to the station yards / Manned / Unmanned L.Cs between ..... and .... stations including both the yards, including leading the sleepers upto a lead of 200m to loading point, loading, transporting, unloading and keeping the sleepers without infringing the proposed formation works and stacking the P.Way fittings at nominated places with contractor's vehicles, crew, fuels, other consumables, labour, tools, plant, all leads, lifts, etc., complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge
NSCON15015: Supply, erection and commissioning of hot pressed moulded Litre thermosetting glass fibre reinforced polyster resin (GRP) sectional water storage tanks confirming to IS 14399 (part I) on Railway's existing staging / roof top including all accessories like external bracing L brackets manhole panel assembly ladder etc for tanks of height 2 M for a capacity above 100000 litres and upto 200000 litres.
NSCON20005: Handling of released PSC sleepers from level crossing gates or Each road approaches of track to the nearest locations of land boundary / trolley refugees for various leads beyond the free lead of 50M including crossing of track wherever required by the head loads, carrying by rail dollies or by the dip lorries etc., with all contractor's own labour, tools, lead and lift etc., as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (up to 50m lead covered under item No.2243).a) For lead exceeding 50 M and upto 1 Km.
NSCON 02032: Waterway discharge calculations for catchment area of more Each than 25 Sq. Km by SUH method, scour depth calculations for bridges (Important / Major bridges).
NSCON 02033: Waterway discharge calculations for catchment area by RBF Each 16 method including scour depth calculations for bridges (minor bridges). SCR-CONST-HQ-ENGG/SOUTH CENTRAL RLY
NSCON 02008: Preparation of project sheets (i.e., working plan & section) to Kilometre scale Horizontal 1cm = 50m & Vertical 1cm = 5m, showing the alignment details of curves, location of stations, nallahs, rivers, road crossings, power line crossings & road under/over bridges widths etc., complete and longitudinal section of the ground levels, alignment and proposals for construction of BG line each sheet containing not more than 5 Km. Submission of the project sheets showing the alignment & the longitudinal section of ground levels, formation levels, bridge proposals, station yard locations, proposal for RUBs/ROBs & level crossings with details of nallahs, road crossings, location of bridges, stations, power line crossings etc., complete and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
NSCON 02010: Preparation & submission of INDEX PLAN (in tracing cloth/ Each film) from ________ to __________ showing the alignment, all towns, roads, canals, rivers, hills, boundaries of states and district within distance of 10 Km. on each side of the Railway alignment (the centre line of proposed railway line should be indicated by a full red line 0.8mm thickness), degree & radius of all curves etc., to a scale of 1cm to 500M etc., complete as per Para-449 & 450 of Engineering Code. Index plan shall be traced from the topo sheets to a scale of 0.50 KM to 1CM. Note: Colour check prints of Drawings are to be supplied and corrections are to be carried out as per the instructions of Railway authorities before approval of Drawings in film. The Drawings are to be submitted in tracing cloth / film and soft copy in CD.
NSCON 02011: Preparation & submission of INDEX SECTION in tracing cloth/ Each film from _________ to ___________ showing the ground levels, formation levels, gradient, bridges, level crossings, stations, RUBs/ ROBs etc., by the red line to the scale of 1 cm to 500M horizontal, 1cm to 10M vertical as per Para-444, 450 & 451 of Engineering code. Note: Colour check prints of Drawings are to be supplied and corrections are to be carried out as per the instructions of Railway authorities before approval of Drawings on film. The Drawings are to be submitted in tracing cloth / film and soft copy in CD.
NSCON 02022: Preparation & submission of station yard plans & plans for Per Trip junction stations as per codal provisions and latest guide lines issued by the railway departments on Auto CAD plotted on 75 Micron Polythene film with different colour i.e. existing particulars in black & proposals in red colour with contractor's staff, computer & printing equipment, stationery, tools etc., complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. The name of the drawing shall be written bilingual language both in English & Hindi. Note: 1) Colour check prints of yard plans are to be supplied by the contractor and corrections if any are to be carried out as per the instructions of Railway authorities before approval of plans on film. 2) Halt station will not be paid under above item.
NSCON 02023: Preparation of station yard plans for halt stations with all Per Day details as required to scale 1 Cm = 10M in tracing cloth/film as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
NSCON 07001: Transportation of Precast PSC Slabs from the casting depot to cum the respective bridge sites upto a maximum lead of 70 Km. and placing on temporary end supports arranged by the contractor with contractor's Tractor/trailer, labour, tools, plant and machinery, crew, fuel and other consumables etc., including loading into trailers at casting depot, unloading at bridge location using contractor's crane, other machineries and accessories etc., complete including all leads and lifts as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: i) If the actual lead exceeds above mentioned 70 Km., the additional cost has to be borne by the contractor. No additional payment will be made for transportation beyond 70 Km. The contractor has to establish the casting yard near the bridge site only. If the casting yard is established away from the bridge site the maximum lead allowed for any bridge is only 70 Km. for payment. ii) There should not be any damage to PSC Slabs and Ballast retainers during shifting/transportation. Total 5860572.00
