Replacement of Building Lightning Protection System of various shops and sub-stations inside factory area of OFAJ

Dismantling steel poles/struts, any size and transporting to OFAJ store, stacking, all as specified and directed complete.

Dismantling earth wire or copper conductor, service feeder or distributor span, all as specified and directed complete.

Supply & fixing of Air termination, single pointed, copper rod 12 mm dia and 300 mm long to be fixed on 50mm dia G.I.Tubes, all as specified and directed complete.

Supply & fixing of Tubes, medium grade, galvanised of diameter 50 mm and of length 4.5 mtr, with all fitting for fixing of air termination of the Lightning arrestor rod on insulators.These tubes to be fixed on roof structures above galvalume roof sheets such that there shall not be any leakage of rainwater inside shop floor. For fixing of tubes on roof, bidder may adhere to any method of mechanical fixing arrangement but shall ensure no holes are drilled on the roof sheets. Height of roof is about 10 mtrs from ground level. (Plan of fixing Tubes on roof shall be discussed and approved by EIC prior to installation.), all as specified and directed complete.

Supply & fixing of Tubes, medium grade, galvanised of diameter 50 mm and of length 1.5 mtr, with all fitting for fixing of air termination of the Lightning arrestor rod on insulators. These tubes to be fixed on concrete roof structures of sub-station buildings. For fixing of tubes on roof, bidder may adhere to any method of mechanical fixing arrangement but shall ensure no holes are drilled on the roof. Height of roof is about 7-14 mtrs from ground level. (Plan of fixing Tubes on roof shall be discussed and approved by EIC prior to installation.)

Supply & fixing of Tubes,medium grade,galvanised of diameter 50 mm and of length 1.25 mtr.These tubes to be fixed to the walls of buildings with the help of M.S.clamps for mechanical protection of the G.I. Strip, all as specified and directed complete.

Supply & Fixing for MS Bands,straps,supports or stays for rainwater,ventilating pipes,including bolts, if required : hooks (stay), clamps, hold fasts, wall ties, hooks for hanging fans, plain angle cleats for securing purlins to wood/steel trusses or rafters, knee piece inserts, two way and three way straps, plate washers and similar small articles conforming to Fe-290 Gde-E-165, all as specified and directed complete.

Supply & fixing of copper strip 20 x 3.15 mm with saddles and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors and down conductors above ground, all as specified and directed complete.

Supply & fixing of Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75 x 75 x 25 mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos. 8mm dia 25mm long hex.head screw.TTB shall be mounted through a support of insulator inside the 2mm thick sheet metal enclosure of dimensions 150 x 150 x 50 mm to be fixed on the wall, all as specified and directed complete.

Supply & fixing of Galvanised iron strip 32 x 6mm buried in ground for earth termination, all as specified and directed complete.

Surface excavation n.exc(not exceeding) 30 cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in hard rock for laying earth termination strips, all as specified and directed complete.

Material & Labour for boring holes 2 m deep in soil for under- reamed piles of diameter 300 mm and getting out and disposal of spoil to a distance of n exc. 50 m, all as specified and directed complete.

Material & Labour for boring of holes for each metre depth (intermediate depths to be paid prorata) in soil for under- reamed piles of diameter 300 mm and getting out and disposal of spoil to a distance of n exc. 50 mtr., all as specified and directed complete.

Supply & fixing of Earthing complete with galvanised steel pipe electrode, 40 mm bore, medium grade, 2.5 meters length, buried directly and preferably vertically in ground with top edge not less than 1.25 mtrs below ground level connected with earthing lead of 32 x 6mm dia galvanised iron strip all as shown in plate no. 2 to the earthing test point all as specified and indicated including testing on completion and maximum ER value to be 5 ohms per pit and marking/numbering in Enamel paint, all as specified and directed complete.

Returning,filling in, including spreading, levelling. watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25cm in disintegrated rock soil after earth work for trenches or earth pit, all as specified and directed complete.

M&L Cement concrete in foundations, filling and mass concrete Type C2 1:3:6 (40 mm graded aggregate), all as specified and directed complete.

S&F of reel type 65 mm dia x 31 mm high x 20 mm hole or DMC Insulators of 1100 volts grade for holding roof conductors and down conductors, all as specified and directed complete.
