Excavating in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for laying of cables, pipes etc. and getting out including trimming the sides and forming bottom surfaces to required levels in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, and well ramming in layer not exceeding 25 cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Removing excavated material (soil) to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking up or down old GI tubing with fittings 25 mm bore from trench / wall / surface and connections/fittings including cleaning for refixing or removal to store. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Note: Excavation and earthwork measured and paid separately.

Note :- (i) Excavation & earthwork shall be measured & paid separately under appropriate item) (ii) All fittings required for laying / fixing shall be brought by the contracor and cost there of shall deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

Supply and fixed in repairs, Cast Iron sluice valve of 150 mm bore, class PN 1.6 duly ISI Marked, (conforming to IS-14846-2000) with iron wheel head both end flanged , brass spindle any pattern with GM check nut complete with jointing material, nuts, bolts, washers, gland packing etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixed in replacement, connecting and testing reflux valve (non return valve ISI -5312) CI suitable for 100 mm bore pipe heavy duty both end flanged of pressure rating PN 1.6 and jointing with joint with rubber or fibre board gasket complete with and including required nos size of nuts, bolts and washers complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & fixed in repairs of butterfly valve of size 100 mm dia including nut, bolt etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Labour only for lifting of submersible mortor pump set upto 20 HP, 3 Phase, 415 Volts, 50 Hz (after isolation of electric power supply from existing system) from existing borewell of depth upto 30m with the help of chain pully carefully including MS/GI pipe and submersible cable by unscrewing nuts and bolts from flange joints and staking at site for refixing after necessary repair including transportation to local workshop, dismantling of motor pump set and replacing the bowl, impeller, bush, neck ring, SS Shaft, key, Coupling, thrust bearing, sar clip, upper and lower housing etc and repair to pump set by re-metaling, grinding, polishing on lathe machine, transporting back to site after greasing and reassembling the pump set with complete testing and lowering the submersible pump, MS/GI pipe and submersible cable to its original position including painting with 2 coat of enamel paint (1st quality) over a coat of zinc chrome primer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- (i) Spares required for repairs and replacement shall be measured and paid separately under respective items as "supply only". (ii) Quoted rate shall deemed inclusive of labour element for repair and replacement of spares. (iii) Inventory of all defective parts required to be replaced will be recorded in a separate register alongwith Pump No. & location / area before replacement duly signed by JE, Engineer-In-Charge & contractor and the same shall be produced as and when desired for verification. ( iv) Proper gate pass and issue voucher and recipt voucher shall be maintained for out side MD Land repair works are to be carried out for motor pump. Material and Labour for cutting of all burnt winding of motor of capacity 20 HP and cleaning of all parts and rewinding with new super enameled winding copper wire of suitable/existing gauge including all insulating materials such as PVC copper cable lead, glass fiber sleeves, cotton tape, insulation paper and applying insulating varnish and heating in heat chamber at approprite temperature. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling pump set centrifugal type 20 HP, AC, 3 phase, 415 volts from site after disconnecting of suction and delivery line, taking out to work shop, dismantling pump set for overhauling, replacing u/s shaft sleeve, gland packing, bush, water seal, applying grease and rewinding the motor with wire of proper gauge and reassembling the pump set and refixing back at site on the base plate and connecting existing pipe line with nuts, bolts and new gasket, connecting the electric connection with existing cable etc and including painting of external portion of pump with synthetic enamel paint (1 st quality) of two coat after one coat priming of red oxide primer and testing for satisfatory working of pump complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in repairs PVC insulated copper cable, HRFR, water proof best quality of size 3 core, 10 Sqmm, 1100 Volts grade, multistranded complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in repairs the water level indicator and replacement of nylon rope into SWR 6 sqmm dia of water level indicator of existing length, greasing and repair to rope guide pully and replacement of unserviceable PVC float valves at over head tank of height 40' to 50' andcomplete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in repair fully automatic Star-Delta starter for submersible pump set of rating 20 HP, 415 volt, 50 Hz, three phase with suitable thermal relay, single phase preventer, panel mounting type, timer, contactors and necessary connection complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking out defective / unservicable hand pump set and refixing the same after replacement of unserviceable parts like MS plunzer with rod 01 No, leather washer 01 Nos, leather bucket with cast iron plate 01 Nos, cast iron handle and 01 No cast iron base plate 01 Nos and MS nuts, bolts of sizes as required numbers complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note : Material used to make pump in serviceable is deemed to be included in quoted rate.)

Supply only calcium Hypo Chlorine 65%-70% Chlorine content calcium based granular disinfectant (45Kg sealed drum) for water treatment, much more stable than Chlorine Gas and stronger than bleaching powder and sodium hypochoride complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Test certificate are to be submitted at the time of supply of material.

Material and labour for dismantling of F R P construction solution preparations cum settling tank with level gauge, lid, inlet / outlet connection, drain connection and fitted with speed reducer, motor and SS agitator dozing pump motor and rewinding the 0.5 Hp motor with existing gauge copper wire and insulation material and repairing the chemical dosing (metering) pump. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour in repairs run lead joints suitable for spigot & socketed CI Pipe, 80 mm bore and gland packing wherever necessary and all jointing materials to make the joint absolutely leak proof including burning out lead joint in position, removing & recovering old lead & including necessary earth work excavation as required complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Note: Qty of Lead required if any for this joint shall not be paid extra.)

Opening completely pressure filter & oxidation chamber of capacity 10000 GPH and taking out existing filter media (sand, gravels), stainers and nozzles, removing (except serviceable for re-use) and depositing filter media to a distance not exceeding 50 m including necessary repair/welding to make the pressure filter vessels complete leak proof for improving the strength and finally reassembling the pressure filter & oxidation chamber including filling of new strainer, gravels & sand in existing position duly cleaned replacing worn out gasket and nut bolts and washers complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Material and labour for disconnecting of defective Air compressor from the Pump house including motor of 3 phase, upto 2 HP, 440 Volts and Compressor along with PVC pipe including disconnecting electric connection as required and dismantling spare parts of Air Compressor of any size, motor overhauling, rewinding, greasing, testing and separating the unserviceable parts, cleaning the serviceable parts, re-metalling machinery, polishing and re-assembling including replacement of old parts and necessary painting apply spray paint with two coat of synethetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Material and labour for Cleaning of internal surface of 50000 gallon capacity RCC overhead reservoir of 18 metre high staging by scraping with wire brushes, rubbing down scale, birt, sludge etc and washing with clear water using bleaching powder/costic soda and taking all rubbish from the reservoir and removing the same to outside MD land land at any distance and applying filling compound to fill joint gap internally complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling and taking down old pressed steel plates of size 1.25 m x 1.25 m of thickness 6 mm by unscrewing the jointing bolts and necessary arrangement for holding of other plates at the time of repairs from 50000/ 6600/3600/4800 gallons capacity PS overhead water tank installed on 40' to 50' height staging complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Note :- Cost of staging/working platform involved shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted).

Material and labour for replacement of joint cleat suitable for plates of size 1.25 m x 1.25 m and thickness of 6 mm inside the overhead P.S tank at 40 feet height staging including fabrication of cleat by cutting from MS plate to size and shape, drilling holes, welding of web pierces with gusset plate wherever required after making in shape and drilling holes including nuts and bolts etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for refixing old plates of OH PS tank including jointing with jointing materials such as lead wire, lead wool and bituminous compound including testing for leak proof complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Note: Old pressed steel plates retrieved from BOQ item no. 78 will be refixed under this item)

Transportation of monoblock pump set 0.5 HP,AC, Single phase, 220/240 V from pump house at any location/Yard in Cantt area contractor's workshop, dismantling for carrying out cutting , opening of winding, re- winding of monoblock pump set of any make and rewinding with same size of copper winding wire with insulation material, varnishing, heating complete and depositing the same after repairs to AGE EM store yard complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
