Earth work in excavation by manual means in trenches for foundations, drains, pipes, cables etc. (Not exceeding 1.5Mtr. In width) and for shafts, wells, cesspits and the like not exceeding 10Sqm on plan, depth upto 1.5Mtr. Including disposal of excavated earth upto 1Mtr. from cutting edge, disposed earth is to be levelled and neatly dressed in: All kinds of soil.

Laying and fitting of G.I. Pipes complete excluding cost of pipes and earth work but including white lead, hemp, oil etc.

i. 40mm dia G.I. Pipes.

ii. 25mm dia G.I. Pipes.

Making connection of G.I. Distribution branch with G.I. Main of following sizes by providing and fixing of Tee, including cutting and threading the pipes etc. Complete Job. i. 20-40mm dia nominal bore.

Providing, fixing of M.S fittings viz bends of suitable degrees / size to be fabricated out of 8mm thick plate as per the requirement of site. This item includes cost of lead, spun yarn and lead caulking, lead beating with insertion of spun yarn etc. The fittings should be leak proof and should be painted with Anticorrosive Red Oxide Primer and bituminous paint and including all carriages, leads lifts and cutting of pipes etc. complete.

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundation etc. layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering lead upto 50Mtrs and lift upto 1.5m.

Carriage of Pipes by mechanical means from Divisional Store upto actual site of work including loading, unloading, stacking, etc. for an average lead 20Km.
