84151/E8 SPECIAL REPAIRS TO ATS INFRA AND OTHER MISC OPERATIONAL FACILITIES AT AF JORHAT UNDER GE(AF) JORHAT

Material & Labour for Cutting Flexible portion of bituminous pavement in regular shape with pneumatic tools as required complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & Labour for Providing and consolidating 75 mm thick premix Dense Asphaltic Concrete (DAC-1) using min 5.4% EIastomeric PMB 64-10 binder by weight of total mix, aggregate gradation as per Bituminous Concrete Grading 1 of Table 500-17 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed.

Providing of Self Adhesive Glass Fibre Grid 8501 interlayer that shall be composed of high strength glass filament yarns knitted into a grid with tensile strength ≥100 X100 kN/m, Coated with a thermal stable elastomeric polymer with melting point ˃ 250°C. Knitting and coating give the interlayer the necessary stiffness and ability to transfer loads in the pavement. It shall ensure protection against damage during installation, under trafficking and paving with retained tensile strength ≥ 80%, and resist melting under hot asphalt mix compaction of High Modulus Glas Grid 8501 of mesh size not exceeding 12.5 mm x 12.5 mm. The self adhesive Glas Grid reinforcement after laying over the Pavement shall be pressed fully with a rubber tired roller and glued to pavement surface with pull-off strength ≥ 9 kg over 1 sqm area. The product shall be proven to be harmless environmentally and remains recyclable after life cycle. The product when used as reinforcement in asphalt mixtures, shall show enhanced fatigue life when tested in accordance with international standards (EN 12697-24; AASHTO T321; ASTM D7460). The product shall have interfacial bond strength at least > 0.75 × control samples when tested as per EN 12697-48. The product shall have third party certificates with proven performance in accelerated testing and field testing complete all as specified and as directed.

Providing and consolidating 150 mm thick premix Dense Bituminous Macadam (DBM Grading-II) using min 4.5% VG 30 grade binder by weight of total mix aggregate gradation as per Grading 2 of Table 500- 1 0 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed.

Material, Laying and compacting 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) Wet Mix Mecadam (WMM) laid in two layers of 75 mm each layer, grading as per Table 400-13 of MoRTH specification for oad and bridge works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant material comprising of clean crushed graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight and consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. the finished surfaces tolerence to be as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013 complete all as specified and as directed.

Material, Laying and compacting 200 mm thick (compacted thickness) Granular Sub Base Course (GSB) as per Grade II as specified table 900-1 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works, 2013 in a sand, crushed gravel, crushed stone, crushed slag or combination thereof as per the grading required. The materials are mechanically mixed,,spread and levelling on the subgrade by using motor grader of adequeate capacity and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100kn static weight for acheiving required compaction density of atleast 98% of the maximum dry density.consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed with finished surfaces tolerence as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013 complete all as specified and as directed.

Applying evenly a prime coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion SS1 confirming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.7-1 kg/sqm on surface of WMM / WBM as specified in Table 500-3 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and as directed .

Applying evenly a prime coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion SS1 confirming to IS:8887 at a rate of application of 0.9-1.2 kg /sqm on surface of stabilized soil bases/ crusher run macadam as specified in Table 500-3 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing of demolished materials obtained from demolition to a distance exc 1.5 km but n exc 5 km and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.
