Construction of embankment using tractor with grader with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drain and foundation of other structures graded and compacted to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5 (Filling with Cut Earth)

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.85 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS- 1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.275kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous surface treated with primer & cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503

Providing and fixing of PMGSY logo with separate description board at the starting point /intermediate distance as per standard drawing of PMGSY scheme.Thetopmostplatewillbein diamond shape of 600mmx 600 mmsize, andthe lower M.S.Platewill be ofsize 1100mmx 300mm and 1.6mmthick(angularcut at one end showing the direction / plain end for PMGSY Scheme name ). The M.S. Sheet (1.6mm thick ) shall be strengthened by 25mm x 5mm MS flat iron on logo and on bottom plate at edges. The iron frame of both the boards shall be fixed, welded to single 75mm x 75mm (12SWG) sheet tube post. The post shall be embedded in cement concrete M15 grade block of 450mm x 450mm x 600mm,600mm below the ground level. The height of thebottom of the lower plate will be 1200mm from the bottom of the post. The spacing between the top diamond shape board and lower plate shall be 150mm. Providing and fixing of typical PMGSY informatory sign board with Logo as per MORD specifications and drawing. Three M.S. plates of 1.6mm thick, top and middle plate duly welded with MS flat iron 25mm x 5mm size on back on edges. The lower plate will be welded with MS angle iron frame of 25 mm x 25mm x 5 mm. The angle iron frame of the lower most plate and flat iron frame of the middle plate will be welded to 2 nos. 75mm x 75mm of 12 SWGsheet tubes posts duly embedded in cement concrete M15 grade block of 450mm x 450mm x 600mm, 500mm below the ground level. The top most diamond plate will be welded to middle plateby 47mm x 47mm of 12 SWG steel plate tube. The main frame shall stiffened and welded with inner frame using MS tubes 47mm x 47mm of 12 SWG comprising 4 horizontal members and vertical members. Two MS sheet of size 900mmx750mmand 1.6mm thick duly welded with MS flat iron 25mm x 5mm size on back on edges for information message shall be fixed firmely to the inner frame. Providing and fixing 3M make reflective road studs of category 'A' raised pavement markers made out of poly carbornate / ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable ofproviding total internal reflection ofthelight entering the lens face with retro reflectance and chromaticity values conforming to ASTM D4280.The reflective raised pavement makers shall also confirm the length, height and width of the body shall not be less than 100mm, 15mm and 90mm and base of marker shall be flat within 1.3mm (3 M equivalent).The marker shall support a load of 13635Kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280.Lenses shall be moulded of Polycarbonate or methyl methecrylate conforming ASTM D788.The area of each retro reflectory surface shall not be less than 13.0Sq.cm.The slope or retro - reflectory surface shall be 35+5 degree to base.Each reflector shall have a CIL not less than values specified in table 1of said MORTH & H circular and two cylindrical Polymer Shanks not less than 20mm diameter and not less than 30mm length shall be provided for better anchorage with bituminous grout or epoxy mortor all as per the MORTH circular No.RW/NH.33023/10/97-DO III,dt.11.06.97.

Towards the charges for routine maintenance of the road work executed under PMGSY including dressing of berms by refilling the gully with gravel, Trimming to grass, wild seasonal growth on berms, repairs to pot holes in BT surface, Maintenance of Slab type culverts by way of clearing, cleaning, erosion, repair, repairs to cracks, parapet walls, white washing guard stones, painting KM stones, parapets, refixingdisplaced guard stones, caution boards, speed limit boards etc with the periodicity for the above activities as prescribed in IRC-SP-20-2002 and as directed by the departmental officers except for constructional defects which has to be rectified by the contractor at his own cost.
