S&F Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced (ACSR) of any size as directed, stringing for overhead line on HT poles including jointing with and including aluminium binding wire 2 mm dia, jumpers, line tapes, conducting jelly, stretching properly and connecting with suitable PG clamps, etc including dismantling and taking down old existing unserviceable aluminium conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) of any size/type/capacity from existing overhead lines on HT lattice towers / steel tubular poles / PCC poles etc of any height including PVC spacers, PG clamps, unwinding the binding wire from insulators etc including disconnecting from the existing system complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) The ACSR conductors shall conforming to IS-398 (Part-II) and as specified in SSR Part-I. (ii) The unit rate quoted shall also deemed to include for supply and fixing of binding wire, aluminium tapes, etc which shall not be included in the weight of conductors for payment. (iii) Weight of conductors shall be determined by measuring the horizontal distance between centers of two adjacent poles and compounding the weight of conductors of that size and length and 3% extra shall be added for sag, jointing, jumpers etc. (iv) Weight of the conductors shall be calculated from the nominal weights given in tables in the relevant IS code.

S&F GI continuous earth wire or guard/cradle made to shape of 3.15mm or 4mm dia as directed including Galvanized mild steel binding wire 1.63mm dia including dismantling & taking down old existing unserviceable GI continuous earth wire, guard, cradle, etc of any size from HT poles including disconnecting from the existing system complete all as specified & as directed. Note :- Galvanized wire shall be measured & paid for under this item and clamps, eye hooks where provided shall be measured and paid for separately.

Excavating in trenches not exc 1.5 metre wide and not exc 1.5 metre in depth for foundation or for shafts, walls, manholes, laying cables, pipes etc not exc 10 Sqm on plan and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per serial item No. 3.00 here-in-before but depth exc 1.5m and not exc 3m.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soil/material to a distance not exc 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.50 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundations of poles, filling, mass concrete and similar works, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Volume of pole/strut embedded in concrete shall be deducted for the purpose of payment.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundations of stay assembly, filling, mass concrete and similar works, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in copings, pedestal of poles and the like including use and waste of form work (straight or curved), all exposed surface of concrete finished even & smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified & as directed. Note : Volume of pole/strut embedded in concrete shall be deducted for the purpose of payment.

M&L for dry sand (Local Tibba sand) and punning for cushioning and cover for protection of under ground electric cable complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) Approved local Tibba dry sand free from vegetations, grass and other deleterious substances shall be used. (ii) For the purpose of payment, only punned thickness shall be measured.

Supplying and laying factory made, un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, ISI marked, Class HV, Type 1, flat, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm, laid as cable protection cover in trenches, in replacement of old broken cable covers, complete all as specified & as directed.

Dismantling the Potential Transformer (PT) 33 KV Oil Cooled from installed position on steel structure after disconnecting electric supply from both sides for necessary repairs like replacement of washers, replacement of cork sheet, refilling of oil, etc after checking and make fully functional the Potential Transformer (PT) and installing in its original position and making all electric connections and testing complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) Labour component required for the replacement of unserviceable parts shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item. (ii) Transformer oil shall be measured & paid separately under relevant item. (iii) T&P and minor parts will be arranged by the contractor and the cost thereof shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item.

Dismantling the Current Transformer (CT) 33 KV Oil Cooled from installed position on steel structure after disconnecting electric supply from both sides for necessary repairs like replacement of washers, replacement of cork sheet, refilling of oil, etc after checking and make fully functional the Current Transformer (CT) and installing in its original position and making all electric connections and testing complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) Labour component required for the replacement of unserviceable parts shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item. (ii) Transformer oil shall be measured & paid separately under relevant item. (iii) T&P and minor parts will be arranged by the contractor and the cost thereof shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item.

S&F Stay assembly complete with 20mm dia, 1800mm long GI stay rod, with threaded ends and GI nuts, two number thimbles, MS galvanized clamps made out of 40mmx6mm flat iron including MS galvanized nuts, bolts and washers, 300mm x 300mm x 6mm MS galvanized stay plate, stay bow, galvanized stay strand 7/4 mm including shackle insulator and stay clamp, with & including painting of exposed MS work with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer, all as shown in electrical plate No 1 of MES Schedule Part-I, including taking out old unserviceable stay assembly, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Excavation & earthwork and PCC shall be measured & paid for separately under respective items of this Schedule.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing HT XLPE (cross linked polyethylene) insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric power cable (heavy duty) with aluminium stranded conductor 11000 Volt (Earthed) grade of cross sectional area 240 sqmm, 3 core laid in trenches/ducts, through pipe, under floors or roads/ along poles etc and fixing with & including suitable size clamps made out of aluminium strip of size 25x3mm, circuit indicating tags made out of GI sheet 16 gauge of size 10cm x 5cm fixed along the route of cable at a distance of 3 metre and at turning points, including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable HT cable, complete all as specified & as directed. Notes :- (i) Sand cushioning, cable protection, GI protection pipe, jointing kits and excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid for separately. (ii) Road cutting/floor cutting /cutting holes etc in walls required for laying/fixing of cable etc shall be made good as per existing. Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. Quoted rates shall be inclusive of the above provisions.

M&L for painting to steel tubular HT pole 11 metre long of any size with two coats of synthetic enamel paint in alternate black and yellow strips 30 cm each upto 1.50 metre height from top of PCC coping/pedestal and applying two coats of aluminium paint to remaining portion of steel pole, over cross arms, brackets, bracings, clamps, hooks etc and marking pole number in letters & figures of size not less than 8cm height including preparation of old surfaces for painting complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for painting to PCC HT pole 11 metre long of any size with two coats of synthetic enamel paint in alternate black and yellow strips 30 cm each upto 1.50 metre height from top of PCC coping/pedestal and applying two coats of aluminium paint over cross arms, brackets, bracings, clamps, hooks etc and marking pole number in letters & figures of size not less than 8cm height including preparation of old surfaces for painting complete all as specified & as directed.

Re-straining/re-stringing/tightening of existing HT over head Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced (ACSR) and GI earth wire of any size/type upto permissible sag in between existing span carefully without damaging other components such as insulators etc of HT distribution system with & including repair to broken conductor where required and replacement of binding wire with new 2mm dia aluminium binding wire complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- The length of each conductor / GI earth wire shall be measured & paid for. The rate quoted shall be for one conductor.

S&F pre-stressed concrete pole 11 metre long of cross section 152mm x 152mm at the top and 152mm x 260mm at bottom, class 9, complying with requirements of IS-1678-1998 with & including two coats of synthetic enamel paint in alternate black and yellow strips 30 cm each upto 1.5 metre height from PCC coping/pedestal and marking pole number in letters & figures of size not less than 8cm height, complete, with & including excavating, demolition of PCC in foundation & coping, taking out existing damaged pole, making good hole to receive new pole, disconnecting the existing ACSR conductors, dismantling & taking down carefully existing serviceable insulators, cross arms, clamps, hooks, stays, street light fitting, etc from old damaged HT Pole and fixing & connecting on new HT pole after erecting the new pole, complete all as specified & as directed. Notes : (i) Sand cushioning, cable protection, GI protection pipe, jointing kits, clamps and excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid for separately. (ii) If any cable will be damaged by the workmen of contractor while execution of this item at site, the new cable of existing capacity shall be provided by the contractor at his own cost complete to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling & taking out carefully existing old serviceable HT XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric power cable with aluminium stranded conductor 11000 Volt (Earthed) grade of cross sectional area 185 sqmm to 240 sqmm 3 core from trenches / duct / pipe / floor / road / pole, etc and re-laying / re-fixing & jointing the same cable at existing/other location complete all as specified & as directed. Notes : (i) Sand cushioning, cable protection, GI protection pipe, jointing kits, clamps and excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid for separately. (ii) If any cable will be damaged by the workmen of contractor while execution of this item at site, the new cable of existing capacity shall be provided by the contractor at his own cost complete to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Note : Unit for measurement and payment for this item is “Each Span” between two adjacent poles in line irrespective of number of conductors in over head line.

Clearing away all grass vegetation, saplings, shrubs, brushwood, undergrowth, roots, and trees not exceeding 30 cm girth (measured one metre above ground level) surrounding Transformers, LT Panels, 02 Pole structures, 04 Pole Structures, etc at various sub stations / E&M installations and removing rubbish upto a distance exc 200m & not exc 250m outside the periphery of the area under clearance complete all as specified & as directed.

Dismantling the transformer 11 KV/433 Volts oil cooled aluminium/copper wound of capacity 50 KVA to 150 KVA from installed position on four pole/two pole/platform, after disconnecting electric supply from HV and LV sides for taking to factory/workshop for rewinding and to carry out necessary repairs as on required basis, providing all insulating material like sleeves, tapes, kerb tapes, cork sheet etc, after checking and make functional of tap changer including replacement of unserviceable items (where required) as directed and installing in its original position and making all electric connections with thimbles & PG clamps and testing complete all as specified and as directed. Notes :- (i) Labour component required for the replacement of unserviceable parts shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item. (ii) Major Parts (as required) and Transformer Oil shall be measured and paid for separately as ‘Supply only’ under relevant items of this Schedule. (iii) All minor parts such as nuts, bolts, washers, insulating material, copper wire for delta connection, etc. shall be arranged by the contractor and the cost thereof shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item. (iv) Rates are deemed to be inclusive of checking and make functional of WTI, OTI, Buchholz relay including replacement of unserviceable items fixed in Transformer. (v) All T&P required for disconnection, re-connection, loading and unloading, transportation, etc shall be arranged by contractor and rates for the same shall deemed to be included in rate quoted. (vi) Testing of transformer shall be arranged by the contractor for Type Test & Routine Test which shall be carried out in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge and contractor shall submit test certificates to this effect before processing the RAR for payment.

Material and Labour for on site repair of transformer 11 KV/433 Volts oil cooled aluminium/copper wound of capacity 100 KVA to 500 KVA from installed position on four pole/two pole/platform, after disconnecting electric supply from HV and LV sides and necessary repairs as on required basis on ground, providing HT/LT bushes, HT/LT brass rod, cork sheet and any lead broken both side, making all electric connections with thimbles/PG clamps and testing complete all as specified and as directed. Notes :- (i) Labour component required for the replacement of unserviceable parts shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item. (ii) Major Parts (as required) and Transformer Oil shall be measured and paid for separately as ‘Supply only’ under relevant items of this Schedule. (iii) All minor parts such as nuts, bolts, washers, insulating material, copper wire for delta connection, etc. shall be arranged by the contractor and the cost thereof shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item. (iv) All T&P shall be arranged by contractor and rates for the same shall deemed to be included in rate quoted. (v) Testing of transformer shall be arranged by the contractor for Type Test & Routine Test which shall be carried out in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge and contractor shall submit test certificates to this effect before processing the RAR for payment.

Supply only LT bushing assembly including brass nuts, bolts, insulation washers etc with accessories for transformer 315 to 500 KVA complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only HT brass metal bush rod with nuts and washers for 11 KV/250 Amp suitable for upto 500 KVA transformers complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only LT brass metal bush rod with nuts and washers suitable for upto 150 KVA transformer complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only LT brass metal bush rod with nuts and washers suitable for 160 to 250 KVA transformer complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only LT brass metal bush rod with nuts and washers suitable for 300 KVA transformer complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only LT brass metal bush rod with nuts and washers suitable for 315 to 500 KVA transformer complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only Temperature gauge of 0 degree C to 100 degree Celcius complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only Breather assembly complete including silica gel for transformer of capacity up to 75 KVA to 500 KVA complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only Silica Gel blue in crystal complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only Tap changing assembly complete with gear for transformer of capacity upto 200 KVA complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only Tap changing assembly complete with gear for transformer of capacity more than 200 KVA but upto 500 KVA complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of external surfaces of distribution transformer of capacity upto 500 KVA including cleaning and removing oil spots from the body and painting with one coat of synthetic enamel paint (first quality) of approved tint with gun sprayer including marking of SM/MES No etc. on transformer with synthetic enamel paint (white) complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only Transformer oil confirming to IS:335 (1993) having dielectric strength not less than 60 KV complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Transformer oil shall be supplied in sealed barrels with test certificate. Cost of barrel shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor and empty barrel will be the property of the Department and same shall be deposited to the AGE E/M Store Yard. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

M&L for filtration / dehydration of old/existing transformer oil including topping up of transformer oil as required in the transformers of different capacity, installed at various locations with suitable capacity of filtration machine to achieve dielectric strength minimum 60 KV complete all as specified and as directed. Notes: (i) All necessary T&P / testing equipment shall be provided by the contractor at his own cost. No extra payment shall be made to the contractor. (ii) New Transformer Oil required for topping up shall be paid for separately under relevant item of this Schedule as ‘Supply only’.

Supply only Cork sheet gasket 5 mm thick superior quality of size 1m x 1m on top cover plate of the transformer capacity 25 KVA to 500 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for brick masonry platform with RCC slab (for transformer) with dimensions 2.00m x 2.00m at top, 100cm height above GL and 70cm deep foundation and shall be constructed as per following details, complete all as specified and as directed with & including demolition of existing brick masonry platform :- (a) Below Ground Level (GL) :- (i) Excavation and earthwork shall be in any type of soil and surplus excavated material shall be removed up to a distance exc 200m but not exc 250m. The total depth of foundation shall be 70cm below GL. (ii) Concrete bed for brick work wall in foundation shall be of uniform thickness of 10cm and 80cm breadth with PCC (1:4:8) type D2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate. (iii) Brick work wall footing 1st course i.e bottom course all around shall be 30cm deep & 69cm breadth built in cement mortar (1:4) using old size fly ash bricks. (iv) Brick work wall footing 2nd course all around shall be 30cm deep & 57.5cm breadth built in cement mortar (1:4) using old size fly ash bricks. (b) Above Ground Level :- (i) Brick work wall above GL all around shall be of 75cm height & 46cm thickness built in cement mortar (1:4) using old size fly ash bricks. (ii) 100mm thick PCC (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate shall be provided on top of wall in full width. (iii) 150mm thick RCC slab on top with cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate with reinforcement of 12mm dia TMT bars @ 100mm C/C both ways shall be provided using proper formwork. (iv) External surfaces of brick work & concrete above plinth protection shall be plastered with 15mm thick plaster in cement and sand mortar (1:4) finished fair & even. Plaster on top of RCC slab shall not be provided. (v) Three coats of white wash shall be provided on all plastered surfaces. (vi) 75mm thick PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in plinth protection of 75cm width with surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement shall be provided all around the platform walls. (vii) Hollow portion of platform above GL & below RCC slab shall be filled with 40mm to 63mm crushed stone aggregate & compacted by using local dry tibba sand for filling of voids in aggregate.
