(By mechanical means)

Item No. 2 - Providing earth work in embankment with approved materials obtained from Private land / Departmental land or other sources specifaied by Engineer-in-chnge, upto lead of 50 meter including all lifts, laying in layers of 20 to 30 centimeter thickness, breaking clods, dressing to the required lines, curves, grade and section, watering and compecting with power roller etc.complete.

Item No. 3 - Water Bound Macadam - Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specified sizes to water bound macadam for ........ specification, including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing rolling with 3 wheeled steel / vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber,applying and brooming requisite type of screening, binding materials to fill up the interstics of coarse aggregates, watering and compacting to the required density making necessary earthen bund to protect edges, lighting, guarding, barricading and maintenance of diversion etc.complete. (Grading-I 90 milimeter to 45 milimeter)

Item No. 4 - Water Bound Macadam - Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specified sizes to water bound macadam for ........ specification, including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing rolling with 3 wheeled steel / vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber,applying and brooming requisite type of screening, binding materials to fill up the interstics of coarse aggregates, watering and compacting to the required density making necessary earthen bund to protect edges, lighting, guarding, barricading and maintenance of diversion etc.complete. (Grading-II 63 milimeter to 45 milimeter)

Item No. 5 - Supplying hard murum at the road side, including and stacking etc. complete.

Item No. 6 - Spreading hard murum for side shoulder etc. complete.

Item No. 7 - Compacting the hard murum side width, layer wise on each side with vibratory roller including artificial watering etc. complete.

Item No. 8 - Providing and laying 50 milimeter thick over water bound macadam surface milimeter thick modified penetration macadam over prepaied based by spreading size metal layers of 40 milimeter nominal size of 30% crusher broken and 70% Hand broken with compaction with power roller heating and spraying bitumen with sprayer @ of 200 kilograme per 100 square meter spraying key aggregate (12 milimeter size chips) and final compaction with power roller.

Item No. 9 - Providing and laying bituminous tack coat, @ 50 kilograme / 100 square meter over Black Topped surface by manual/mechanical sprayer including supplying all materials,preparing the existing surface, heating bitumen and applying tack coat evenly on the surface etc. complete. (using 60/70 grade)

Item No. 10 - Providing and laying 50 milimeter thick bituminous macadam average thickness with 3.40% bitumen content by weight of total mix for levelling course to remove irregularities / base course including diversion of traffic supplying of all materials, heating bitumen and chips in drum mix plant, cleaning the road surface, laying bituminous macadam by paver finisher including compating, transportation and cost of all materials, bitumen from refinery etc. complete. (excluding tack coat) (60/70 Grade of Bitumen)

Item No. 11 - Providing and laying 30-45 mm compacted thickness Bituminous Concrete as per design mix (approved by Engineer) on prepared surface with specified grade stone aggregate as per Table - 500-18 with bitumen for wearing course including loading of aggregate with F.E. loader and hot mixing of stone aggregate and bitumen (including cost of anti-stripping compound wherever required) in computerised hot mix plant, transporting the mixed material by tippers to paver and laying with paver finisher fitted (as per clause 504-3.5) to the required level and grade and compacting by power rollers and vibratory rollers or 150 to 250 KN pneumatic tyred roller with TP = 0.7 Mpa, to achieve the desired density complete as per clause 509 of MoRT&H specification including all material, labour, machinery, lighting, guarding and maintenance of diversion but excluding primer/tack coat Grade-II with Bitumen VG-grade 30 @ 5.40 % (percent by weight of total mix)

Item No. 12 - Providing R.C.C.(M-15) Ordinary kilometer stone of standerd design as per IRC:8-1980,fixing in c.c.M15,including painting and printing etc.complete.

Item No. 13 - Providing R.C.C.(M-15) 200 meter stone of standerd design as per IRC:8-1980,fixing in c.c.M15,including painting and printing etc.complete.

Item No. 14 - Providing and fixing M-15 R.C.C. Guard stone of 20 x 20 x 75 cms including fixing in ground and white washing etc.Complete.

Item No. 15 - Providing & Fixing informatory sign boards in square or rectragular shape of any size made out 16 quage (1.6 mm) thick mild steel sheet painted with one coat of zinc chromate stoving primer and two coats green back ground white boarder/messages,symbols etc. and back side in grey stove enamel paint in cluding M.S.angle frame of 35 mm x 35 mm x 3 mm and two M.S.angle iron post of size 50 mm x 50 mm x 5 mm. 3.65 m long properly cross braced with angle iron of size 50 mm x 50 mm x 5 mm duly painted with alternate black and white bands of 25 cm width including G.I.fixtures etc. and fixing the board in 1:4:8 concrete block of size 60 cm x 60 cm x 75 cm including transportation etc.complete.

Item No. 16 - Carrying out sieve analysis, water absorption, specific gravity, impact value, crushing value on stone aggregate with frequency of one test per 100 cubic metre in government public works department laboratory as per relevant b.i. standards and submitting test results if required ,including taxes, overheads and any other allied charges etc. complete.

Item No. 17 - Carrying out abrasion value, flakiness index / elongation index, bulk density on stone aggregate with required frequency of one test per 100 cubic metre in government public works department laboratory as per relevant b.i. standards and submitting test results, including taxes, overheads and any other allied charges etc. complete.

Item No. 18 - Carrying out Penetration, softening point, flash point and fire point, specific gravity, viscosity, ductility / elastic recovery on bitumen with frequency of two samples per 10 tonnes to be tested as directed by Engineer in charge In Govt. P.W.D. laboratory as per relevant b.i. standards and submitting test results including taxes, overheads and any other allied charges etc. complete.

Item No. 19 - Carrying out extraction test on Bitumen mix with the frequency of two test each for each 100 tonnes of mix subject to a minimum of two tests per day per plant in government public works department laboratory as per relevant b.i. standards and submitting test results, including taxes, overheads and any other allied charges etc. complete.

Item No. 20 - Carrying out sieve analysis, liquid limit and plastic limit (plasticity index) compressive test (proctor density), C.B.R. test (Lab) excluding compaction test on soil / murum with the required frequency in government public works department laboratory as per relevant b.i. standards and submitting test results including taxes, overheads and any other allied charges etc. complete.

Item No. 21 - Carring out Field moisture content test on murum / Soil with the required frequency in Government Public Works Division laboratory as submitting test results and retesting if required, including taxes, overheads and another allied charges etc. complete.

Item No. 22 - Carrying out field density test by snad replacement method on soil / murum / WBM layers / bituminous compacted layers with the required frequency in government public works department laboratory as per relevant b.i. standards and submitting test results including taxes, overheads and any other allied charges etc. complete.

Item No. 23 - Dead journey charges for conveying testing material for testing from works site to government public works department laboratory / approved laboratory including taxes, overheads and any other allied charges etc. complete.

Item No. 24 - Carrying out Roughness Index/ Road UNEVENNESS TEST on Finished Road surface as per relevent B.I. Standard and Submitting test results including taxes, over head and other allied charges etc., complete.

Item No. 25 - Carrying out stripping value test on stone aggregate with the required frequency as per relevant b.i. standards and submitting test results including taxes, overheads and any other allied charges etc. complete.

Item No. 26 - Carrying out B.M. Job Mix design (preparation of marshall mould & density) in Govt. P.W.D. laboratory as per relevent b.i. standards and submitting test results including taxes, overheads and any other allied charges etc. complete.
