Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.5 mtr wide and not exc 1.5 mtr in depth and getting out in soft / loose / hard soil for laying of UG cable complete all as specified and as directed.

Removal of surplus soil to a distance not exc. 50mtr apart and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25cm thick in soft loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and spread clean dry river sand in trenches for cushioning of UG cables complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE : Punned thickness of sand will be measured for payment purpose.

Material and labour for common burnt clay building bricks sub class 'B' laid in trenches over sand cushioning for protection of UG cable in trenches complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for cutting of bituminous road / floor for laying of pipe / cables not exceeding 1.5 meter wide and not exceeding 1.5 meter deep including refilling / with approved filling material and watering, well ramming / compacting and making good with PCC 1:2:4, type B-1, 100mm thick complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. NOTE : PCC shall be measured separately.

Material and labour for Plain Cement Concrete, (1:2:4), type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate for making good the disturbed portion of road / floor / platform etc including form work compaction etc all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down the old unserviceable existing LT UG cable of any size from 2 / 3 / 3.5 / 4 core 25 sq.mm to 240 sq.mm in trenches / pipes / pole for attending the repairs, refixing / relaying back in trenches fixed on poles with complete connection all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. NOTE :- (a) Excavation and earth work will be measured and paid separately under relevant items. (b) Sand & Brick to be safely / properly stagnated and reused as directed by Engr -in- Charge. (c) If the existing cable become faulty and can not be useful, then cable will be measured and paid separately relevant items.

Material and labour for painting of LT steel tubular swaged pole and bracket of any type and any size with one coat of aluminium paint with 2" height strip of black and yellow paint (each strip height is 2") at the height of 1 mtr above the ground level including marking of pole number over the coloured strip (height of the pole number 2") in black paint and to fix the radium strip / night reflector with trimming 1 mtr radius of the street light pole complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. NOTE : Cost of T & P shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Material and labour for painting of GI pipe suitable for post top lantern of any type / size with one coat of existing paint and cleaning the PCC area and minor repairs to the bottom portion by brush and finishing with two coats of white wash complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. NOTE : If PCC required then the same shall be measured and paid separately.

Repair / maintenance of the street light fittings / high bay light fittings / flood light fittings on pole or building / workshop (any height) by replacing the spares as given below:- NOTE : (i) The measurement of payment shall be made as per actual replacement of accessories, no extra cost will be paid to the contractor for T&P and tradesmen as required. (ii) Taking down the fitting as required for maintenance for cleaning or minor repairs such as screws, wires including taking down etc., the cost of the same is deemed to be included in the rate quoted. (iii) The contractor shall depute one electrician and two helper on all working days in MES complaint cell for attending the complaint regarding the street light.

Material and labour for repairing of LT panels / LT feeder pillar boxes by carrying out checking thoroughly all electrical connections, lugs, busbar, voltmeter, ammeter, cable glands, insulator on busbar, and tightening all connections properly with proper size of new nuts, bolts, washers as per the site requirement and insulation of busbar with colour code insulation tapes including welding on damaged panel and preparation of internal and external surfaces of panels / feeder pillar boxes by cleaning with dry cloth / removal dust particles by using air blower and scratching the old painted surfaces as directed and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved tint over a coat of red oxide primer and testing complete as per direction of Engineer- in- charge. NOTE :- Cost of painting, nuts, bolts, washers etc. are deemed to be included in quoted rates.

Supply and fixing pole mounted junction box of size 155mm x 210mm x 92mm (street light boxes) top hinged door fixed with hinges on top, made out of FRP sheet with weather proof, locking arrangements vertical operated with one No. 6 /10 Amps MCB SP, epoxy, technical connector upto 8 ways, fixed on pole with 25mm x 3mm MS flat iron clamps and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved tint over one coat of red oxide primer for fixing clamps including dismantling of existing un serviceable loop-in-box complete all as specified and as directed .

Material and labour for repairing the earthing point by replacing the cover, funnel, GI pipe, repairs to chamber with cover and other required accessories. chamber cover should be marked with earth pit No, required earth resistance value shall be obtained, measured and report to be submitted to the office for record complete all as directed and specified. NOTE : (i) Quoted rates are deemed to be included the repair / marking and testing of complete. (ii) If new earthing / strip required then the same will be measure and paid separately.
