Fixing and Installation of elevated AFL Taxi light fitting (any type) with the base at a location specified on the earth surface near the Runway edge including transport to the Runway site from stores and submission of complete drawing for approval of user and precise alignment of AFLS lights as per Runway lighting norms all as specified and directed (The lights, isolation transformers and bases shall be provided by the AF/ user) Note:- a) The fixing cost of the necessary CI box of size 13 inches dia 20 inches deep (approx.) which will be issued by the Air Force is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. b) The fixing material if any required like gasket, nuts and bolts shall be provided by the contractor.

Item no. 1.01 contdd... c) Tools, consumables and additional parts as required for assembling/finishing of the light points/assembling will have to be provided by the contractor. d) Necessary precautions are to be taken by the contractor to avoid scratch/ damage to the sub-assemblies during the process of assembling. Any damage/ scratch in the lens/ or other part of the light point has to be borne by the contractor. e) All the connections during the assembling of the sub-parts have to be made properly by the contractor to avoid moisture/ dust ingress. No loose connections/ joints are to be left. The electrical joints/ points are also to be masked by proper masking material like heat shrinkable sheaths, sleeves and insulation setting/ flexible material to avoid dust/ moisture ingress. f) Each light point has to be permanently marked with data i.e. Circuit Name-Light Point No/Total number of lights in the circuit, using stencil cut writing. g) Necessary Bolt of size 10mm in dia and 25mm length (06 Nos per lamp) along with nut, washers 01 No Rubber gasket is to be provided by the contractor. h) Necessary cost of connectors for male and female connections, HT/LT tape of cables deemed to be included in the coated rate. j) The cost of cutting 500mm dia core (150mm deep in DLC + 150mm deep in PQC) and removing 150mm deep GSB and fixing of CI transformer housing box, round shape of outside, dia 450mm and 6Nos.M10 tapped holes to recieve light fitting base plate and bolt alongwith grouting with cement mortar 1:2 on bottom and around housing complete is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Laying, jointing and testing of single core high tension AFLS cables (size up to 10 Sqmm), laid in trenches/ duct/ floor including jointing with AFLS light isolation transformer placed across in RCC chambers @ 60m c/c distance towards Runway at centre of paved shoulder (minimum 1.5m away from cables being laid) complete all as specified and directed for existing Northern Runway and November Link. Note :- 1. AFLS cable with connector will be issued by concerned section of user. Collection and necessary transportation shall be deemed to be included in the rate. 2. Endurance test / functional check after completion of above-mentioned work services has to be carried out jointly by Air Force and the Contractor. 3. Insulation resistance test of the cable shall be carried out jointly by Air Force and the Contractor. 4. The cost of full blown exhaustive Engineering drawing lay out (qty - 02) with all markings and legends + bill of materials (6 ft X 3 ft with minimum 200 dpi , 200 dpi, coloured) containing all the details is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. 5. The cost of T&P for crimping of the AFLS cables is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. 6. Testing charges shall be deemed to be included in quoted rate. Note:- Necessary connectors for female and male connections, HT/LT tape of cable is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Excavating over areas, n exc 1.5 m deep and getting out exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and n exc 1.5 mtr depth for foundation and laying of cables and getting out in any type soil etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for sand cushioning and spreading clean, dry, fine river sand for UG electric cable in two layers (7 cm punned down thickness before laying the cable/ pipe & 18 cm punned down thickness after laying cable) total 25 cm punned down thickness including gentle punning the sand and consolidated around cable/ pipe for protection of underground cable complete all as specified and directed. (Note :- Only punned down thickness shall be measured for payment).

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm in any type soil etc complete as specified and directed.

Removing of surplus excavated soil not exceeding 50 m distance and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Boring of holes through HDD under road, pavement, hard standing by trenchless technology at minimum 1m depth using ultra sounding technique and necessary machine including M&L for laying HDPE pipe of minimum 150 mm dia suitable for 0.4 Mpa working pressure. (Under Runway and road) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for High-density polyethylene pipes (HDPE) of pressure rating PN 6, 2.7mm wall thickness, material grade PE-63, 32mm nominal diameter as per IS 4984: 1995 reaffirmed 2002 laid in trenches for laying of AFLS cables complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- 1. The cost of necessary fittings and fixtures required at the site is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. 2. Necessary excavation, return filling and sand shall be measured and paid separately.
