Upgradation of the existing Eddy current clutch drive assembly gravimetric feeders to latest Technology VFD based drive assembly at BTPS Unit-2

a)The bidder shall note that design, engineering of the entire work of replacement of existing gravimetric coal feeder control systems (clutch assembly) by VFD based Gravimetric type coal feeder control systems envisaged in this specification is the responsibility of the bidder. Such design essentially includes system design and sizing of equipment and associated accessories. In case of confusion and contradiction to the bidder is advised to seek clarification from purchaser during the pre-bid discussion meeting or pre offer stage itself. b)The gravimetric coal feeder system shall consist of Gravimetric feeder, Microprocessor based controls, drives and hardwares necessary for the complete system of Gravimetric feeder control. c)The scope of work shall be for design, manufacture, supply & delivery, dismantling existing feeder system, retrofitting, erection, testing and commissioning of gravimetric feeder control systems and conducting of drop test for one feeder and chain test for all other feeders. All civil, mechanical and electrical/ C&I works related with installation and commissioning of these Microprocessor based Gravimetric Coal feeder control system complete shall be under the scope of bidders. d)The intent of this specification is to provide general information and no such complete details of Design and Construction are specified here. However, the bidders has to confirm the high standards of Engineering, design & workmanship in all respect and shall be capable of performing continuously for satisfactory operation with the accuracy, reliability and safety.
