Removal of Vegitative Layer

Removal of vegitative layer from the site and replacing it with the existing site soil. Dumping of the debris off-site at dumping area within a lead upto 200meters.

Build-up of the sub-base to the required level

Once the existing topsoil has been excavated and removed from works area the sub grade profile shall be re-graded with a bulldozer or motor grader with tilting blades or its equivalent and must be fine shaped with a Bobcat to the required sub grade design levels as mentioned below to form the ‘envelope’ of the field, the sub base must be stable and rock-free.

Proof Rolling

Roll sub-grade with vibratory roller. Any soft spots identified during proof rolling shall be removed and replaced with compacted suitable fill material to the satisfaction of the Consultant /agronomist/engineer, so that a firm formation with a CBR value of greater than 5% is produced.

Watering the sub-grade to bring the earth up to required optimum moisture content.

Picking of stones removal or other deleterious material of dimension greater than 75mm from the surface of the sub-base.

Trenching of drains at the sub surface levels for perforated pipe drainage.

Excavating trenches of required width for pipes, cables, etc including excavation for sockets and dressing of sides, ramming of bottoms, depth upto 1.5 m including getting out the excavated soil and then disposing of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m :

Pipes, cables etc. exceeding 80 mm dia. but not exceeding 300 mm dia.

At the base of Drain.

Providing, laying and spreading upto50 mm, aggregate of 10-15 mm.

Providing and laying 100mm corrugated perforated pipes with fixing all end caps, T joints and couplers where necessary.

NOTE: All joints in the drains and connections between the laterals and main drains shall be made using purpose–made or otherwise approved sealed junctions of appropriate size. Sealed end-(Continued)

caps shall be fitted where required. All perforated plastic pipes shall conform to BS 4962:1989 and perforated pipes shall conform to BS 4660:1989 or ASTM equivalent.

Supply and fit Couplers to 100mm pipe.

Supply and fit T joints to 100mm pipe.

Providing, and backfilling aggregate of 10-15 mm to fill around and above the pipe, fill up to 200 mm to fill the drain

NOTE: The aggregate used for drain trench backfill and for the drainage layer shall be free of fine particles. The calcium carbonate content shall not exceed 5%.The aggregate shall comprise of particles which are angular, sub angular or sub -rounded in shape but shall not contain more than 20% of particles which are flaky, laminar or platy in shape, i.e. where particle length exceeds thickness by a factor of two or more.

Lay drainage gravel layer, 6-10mm clean permeable fill.

Supply and place sufficient quantity of an approved clean hard, salt free, non- calcareous choker or gravel/ aggregate to provide a minimum firmed depth of 100mm firmed layer, over the entire sub-base . The material being resistant to abrasion or breakdown and shall have a maximum calcium carbonate content of 5%.

Automatic Irrigation system

supply and install an automated pop-up sprinkler irrigation system, using HDPE pipes,combination of full and part circle gear drive rotar based sprinklers, 12.5 hp mono bloc pump with filter and control panel, an underground storage tank of 1,00,000 liters( tank to be provided by client), considering 6.0mm/day water precipitation rate during the peak summer.

Grassing with Buffalo Grass ( Grassing with Buffalo grass including watering and maintenance of the lawn for 30 days or more till the grass forms a thick lawn free from weds and fit for moving including supplying good earth if needed.
