Preparing old surface (black top surface) by brushing with wire brushes for removing cake mud etc. sweeping with brooms, dusting by high presure compressed air jetting and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. as per specifications and direction of Engineer.

Providing and applying tack coat over the dry and cleaned / prepared road surface using hot paving bitumen of grade VG-30 of approved quality including heating the bitumen to specified temprature and liberally spraying with mechnically operated spray unit fitted on bitumen boiler @ 0.60 kg/sqm of surface all complete as per specifications & direction of Engineer. Note: Rate of application of tack coat shall be established by the contracting agancy with approval of Engineer-in-charge through application of a premeasured quantity of hot bitumen on a pre-determined area of sample surface.

Providing, laying and rolling premix carpet product through hot mixing of stone aggregate of approved grading with paving bitumen of VG-30 grade of approved quality @ 5.0% by weight of aggragate in Automated Hot Mix Plant (having provision for verifying weights and temperature of individual ingredient as well hot- mix) in specified thickness using paver finisher of appropriate width and consolidate with 8-12 MT road roller followed by finishing with 8-12 MT vibratory roller for bringing the finished surface to true gradient, camber, straight edges, etc. all complete as per drawing specifications and direction of Engineer-In-Charge. Note: Pre-qualification and acceptance of all the contractor's equipments by NPCIL for their working condition, capacity, adequacy for work etc. shall be mandatory before deployment at works.

Repairing pot holes of all depth and size in existing roads with Premix Bitumen Concrete produced through hot mixing stone aggregate of approved grading with paving bitumen of grade VG-30 of approved quality @ 5.0% by weight of aggregate and laying in pot holes after preparing the surface by scouring sunken patches, cutting the edges of pot holes to a min. depth of 25mm, removing all unwanted and foreign materials through manual / mechnical means, brooming, dusting by high presure compressed air jetting and application of tack coat of hot bitumen @ 0.6 kg per sqm. including compaction with 8-12 tone road rollers all complete as per specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge. Note: Pre-qualification and acceptance of all the contractor's equipments by NPCIL for their working condition, capacity, adequacy for work etc. shall be mandatory before deployment at works.

Providing, Laying and rolling premixed seal coat as per specifications in 10 mm compacted thickness by using paver finisher of suitable width using hot mix of fine aggaregate bitumen ( fine aggregate 100 percent passing through 6.3 mm and retained on 2.36mm sieve mixed with bitumen of grade VG-30 of approved quality) with bitumen content of 6.0% by weight of fine aggregate evenly mixed in hot mix plant, consolidating with 8-12 MT roller and finished with 8-12MT vibratory roller to a uniform thickness surface including spraying the rock dust on the surface and brooming / cleaning the surface followed by fanning with compressed air for removing all loose dirt and foreign materials etc. complete as per specification and direction of engineer. Note: Pre-qualification and acceptance of all the contractor's equipments by NPCIL for their working condition, capacity, adequacy for work etc. shall be mandatory before deployment at work.

Providing and applying 2.5 mm thick road marking strips (retro- reflective) of specified shade/ colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/ semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T&P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and accordance with applicable specifications.

Painting road surface marking with adequate no. of coats to give uniform finish with ready mixed road marking paint conforming to IS: 164 on bituminous surface / concrete surface in white/ yellow shade including cleaning the surface of all dirt, scale, oil, grease and foreign material etc. and lining out complete with all material, labour and T&P: Old work (One or more coats).

Providing and Operation of Hydraulic Excavator/ J.C.B. of 1 cum bucket for clearing of rubbish, garbage, debris, Excavation work etc including cost of services of operating staff, Cost of lubricating oil, Diesal / petrol/kerosene oil, other consumables for running the machine all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling of flexible pavement (bituminous courses) by mechanical means and disposal of dismantled material up to a lead of 1 kilometre, as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
