Providing, laying, 200 mm thick in two layer ( 100+100mm) spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density as per MORT&H specifications for road and bridges works (5th Revision) 2013/ Latest edition as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respect as per clause No. 406. Note :-Only crushed stone metal material should be used . No local earth/ natural occurings and shall be used. The material finer then 425 micron shall have zero plasticity index (P-1) 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by Engineer.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion SS-1 on prepared surface of granular Base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per technical clause 503 of MORT&H specifications.

Dismantling of 25 mm Mastic Ashphalt by mechanical means using pneumatic tools, breaking to pieces not exceeding 0.02 cum in volume and stock piling at designated locations and disposal of dismantled materials up to a lead of 1000 metres, stacking serviceable and unserviceable materials separately as per clasue No. 202 of of MORT&H specifications for road and bridges works (5th Revision) 2013/ Latest edition.

Providing and laying 25 mm thick mastic asphalt wearing course with paving grade bitumen VG - 40 @ 10.2%, fine aggregates, course aggregates, lime filler @ 17.92% of total, prepared by using mastic cooker and laid to required level and slope after cleaning the surface, including providing antiskid surface with bitumen precoated fine-grained hard stone chipping at an approximate spacing of 10 cm centre to centre in both directions, pressed into surface when the temperature of surfaces is not less than 100C, protruding 1 mm to 4 mm over mastic surface, all complete as per clause 516 of MORT&H specifications (5th Revision, 2013)

Providing and applying tack coat with penetration Grade bitumen emulsion SS-1 using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.20 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom as per technical clause 503 of MORT&H specifications for road and bridges works (5th Revision) 2013/ Latest edition.

Providing and laying 50mm dense graded bituminous macadam with 100-120 TPH batch type HMP producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder VG 30 @ 4.5% by weight of total mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction complete, as per technical clause No. 505 of MORT&H specifications for road and bridges works (5th revision)/ Latest edition ) Note :-. If bitumen required more than 4.00% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. 2. Thickness of DBM laid over the existing Black Top surface is to be adjusted in such a manner that a camber of 2.5% is achieved. Any extra quantity over and above the quantity provided in the DNIT, required to achieve 2.5% camber shall be incidental to work. ( Note :- Before laying DBM on existing road surface, any existing pot holes and cracks shall be repaired and sealed in accordance with clasue No. 3004.2 and 3004.3 . Proper measurement and consumption shall be entered in MB , but no payment on this account shall be made, these are incidental to work. Note :- Before carrying out bituminous work, coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS-6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95% anti stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti- stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982-:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and nothing extra shall be payable . The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE –in-Charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results a be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor.

Providing and laying 30mm bituminous concrete with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder VG - 40 @ 5.4% per cent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction complete as per technical clause 507 of per MORTH specifications (Vth revision)-2013 complete in all respec Note :- If bitumen required in this account more than 5.4 % as per Job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work :- Note :- Before carrying out bituminous work, coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS-6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95% anti stripping agent will be used by contractor. Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beeds as per IRC :35. The finished surface to be level , uniform and freefrom streaks and holes. Note:- Before start of work the contractor shall give brand , batch no. , manufacturing date of the material to be used and got approveed the same fron Engineer--in-charge before use.

Painting two coats after filling the surface with ready mixed exterior synthetic enamel paint in all shades on new/ old plastered concrete surface as per clause No. 803 of MORT&H specification for road and bridges works (5th revision) / latest edition complete in all respect such as furnishing all labour . materials tools equipment including all incidental cost of necessary for carrying out the work at site

Constructin of embankment (For earth work on berm) with approved materials deposited at site from road way cutting and excavatin from drain and foundatin of other structure graded and compacted to met requirement of table 300.2 as per technical clasue 305 of MORT&H specification

Dismentaling of existing damaged bitumen surface by cod Milling machine up to any depth and hauling the miled mateial up to any lead and stacking at nearest recycening plant site

Recovery for milled material:- -Recovery shall be made for retirieved milled mateiral at the rates specified herein (i.e. @ 20% of rate quoted for item of BC) Note :- material obtained from dismantling of existing bitumenous layer has been calculated @ 60% of the retrieved mateial as per theortical calcualtion. the agency shall take away this mateial at the fixed rate @ 40% of quoted rate of BC. If actual material after dismentaling is found on lesser side, no claism of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantitiy exhibited in teh BOQ shall be made. the dismantled mateial can be used in any of the items for the work after modificatin ( bringing it to required specification0 so as sto fulfill requirement of MORT&H specification clause No. 519 and aftger approval from the employer . In case it isnot possible touse this material on the work the agency can take away this matgerial . However , recovery of material shall be amde for the quantity exhibted in the BOQ and at the rates specified herein irrespective of the fact that material is used in the work or not Bidder/ agency may visit site before quoting rates and make his assesment for the extent of retrieved matgeiral. Note :- In Case of any difference in the unit and nominclaturre of any of the HSR/MORT&H items of civil work depicted in this DNIT and that given in HSR , the unit and nominclature given in HSR shall be applicable.
