Excavation in trenches, n exc1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. nexc 10 sq m on plan and n exc1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed Note : During excavation no mechanical excavator is permitted at site. The rates quoted is deemed to be included for manual excavation.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming, in trenches with excavated soil in layers not exc.25cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material n exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc.1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down existing iron removal plant of capacity 10000 gallons/hour complete with pressure filter, catalytic, air compressor back washing facility etc after and including demolition of PCC/RCC foundation and deposited to the MES store yard complete all as specified and directed

Supply installation commissioning and testing of catalytic type iron removal plant (conforming to IS 10500:1991) of capacity 10000 GPH complete, suitable for raw water having iron content 10 mg per ltr to bring it to less than 0.3 ppm, acceptable standard of potable water and testing to all chemical/orgonalaptic/physical/bacteriological analysis (as per IS 10500-2012 and ICMR guidlines) of treated water from National Test House Guwahati including Painting works, PCC foundation, Misc fittings/valves etc as instructed by manufacturer. The plant shall comprised of the following assesories :- Make : RMCO / Zeolite/ION Exchange. (a) Pre-filter shell model : Pre-filter of capacity 10000 GLN per hour made up with MS fabricated factory made of size 2000 mm dia x 1500 mm height with shell thickness 10mm x disc end and bed plate thickness 12mm simultaneously materials as per IS 226 /2062 with frontal pipe lines, control valves of any type, under bed filter media, under bed plate system fitted with PVC strainer, pressure gauges, man hole, air vent system back washing facilities complete as per manufacturer design. Make : RMCO / Zeolite/ION Exhange - 01 No (b) I R Filter Shell : Iron removal filter of capacity 10000 GLN per hour made up with MS fabricated factory made of size 2500 mm dia x 1500 mm height with shell thickness 10mm x disc end and bed plate thickness 12mm simultaneously materials as per IS 2062 with frontal pipe lines, control valves of any type, under bed filter media, under bed plate system fitted with PVC strainer, pressure gauges, 446 Nos double nut strainer of size 5/8", nut bolt and gaskets as required, man hole , air vent system back washing facilities complete as per manufacturer design. Make : RMCO / Zeolite/ION Exchange - 01 No (c) Filter media constituting of barakar sand of 16/32 mesh and gravels of size 25 to 15 mm, 15 mm to 6 mm, 6 mm to 3 mm and 3 mm to 1.5 mm quantity as required complete. (d) Catalytic media constituting of FEGO compound of 25 mm to 12 mm (for filter 150mm depth) with chemically treated media as required quantity complete. (e) Oxidation Chamber : Oxidation Chamber of capacity 10000 GLN per hour made up with MS fabricated factory made cylindrical vertical type of size 1000 mm dia x 1200 mm height with disc end , perforated bed plate, foot tools & filled with live catalitic media with 100 mm interconnection facilities, MnO2 compound of 25mm to 12mm complete including 2 coats of black bituminous painting on inner side & two coat of synthetic enamell paint over a coat of red oxide primer all as directed or as per manufacturer design. However, the same has to be approved from accepting officer before commencement of work. 2. Treated water testing arrangment including test expense is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

S&F ductile iron welded with flage-end of 0.5m long Class K-9 conforming to IS:8329/2000 suitable for rubber/leather gasket joint of 100 mm bore including rubber/leather gasket and nut, bolts & washers of suitable sizes and laid in trenches complete all as specified and directed.

S&F ductile iron welded with flage-end of 1.0 m long Class K-9 conforming to IS:8329/2000 suitable for rubber/leather gasket joint of 100 mm bore including rubber/leather gasket and nut, bolts & washers of suitable sizes and laid in trenches complete all as specified and directed.

Note: The inner surface of pipe should have cement mortor lining with sulphur resistant cement and outer surface hould have metallic zinc coating with finishing coat of black bituminous paint
