REPAIR/MAINT OF GI/CI PIPELINE, VALVE PITS AND CONNECTED ITEMS AT AF STN SURATGARH

BOQ (REPAIR/MAINT OF GI/CI PIPELINE, VALVE PITS AND CONNECTED ITEMS IN DOMESTIC AREA AT AF STN SURATGARH)

Continuous inspection of interrupted/breakdown of water supply and repair to make the continuity of water supply after detecting & rectifying the defect including cleaning blockage and replacement of fittings such as nipple, tee,union,socket etc in any pipe from 15mm pipe to size 25 mm in order to make good the continuity of water supply to the entire satisfaction of EIC.

Continuous inspection of interrupted/breakdown of external water supply and repair to make the continuity of external water supply after detecting & rectifying the defect including cleaning blockage and replacement of fittings such as nipple, tee,union,socket etc pipe from 40 mm pipe to size 80 mm required in order to make good the continuity of water supply to the entire satisfaction of EIC.

a) This item pertains to attending complaints of external water supply, b) T&P and safety tools as required to attend the complaint will be the responsibility of contractor. c) Rs 150/- per complaint per day will be recovered from contractor's payment if he fail to rectify complaint with in 24 Hrs d) Necessary exacavation /digging wherever required for the rectification of complaint will be done by the contractor and no extra amount will be paid seperately.

e) For each complaint in location, a docket slip shall be prepared by the contractor/ his representative and handed over to related tradesman, etc. for attending the complaint and after satisfactorily completion of complaint, docket slip shall be submitted to concerned executive on day of register of complaint, which shall be got signed from the occupant and shall be produced at the time of payment to be made to the contractor.

f) Format of docket slip and complaint register shall be kept in complaint cell will be provided by department .Stationery i.e. log sheets, docket slips, job cards, complaint registers, handing taking registers, etc. shall be provided by the contractor without any exta cost to the department and cost thereof shall deemed to be included in quoted rates by the contractor against respective item of schedule 'A'. The complaint slip shall be prepared by the contractor or his authorised rep and handed over to the tradesmen and necessary entry shall be made in the complaint register and will be handed over to to concerned JE / the Engr-in-Charge next day. Contractor shall maint seprate register for lodging the complaints and the same shall be produced to concerned JE / Engr-in-Charge on next day.

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.50 metre wide and not exc 1.50 metre deep in soft/ loose soil for laying of pipe line and getting out complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning filling in, including spreading leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge..

Removal of excavated soil to a distance n.exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point. complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up CI/DI/GI water mains 80/100 mm dia from trenches (including all fittings), with spigot and socket ends and lead/tyton/Flanged joints including burning out joints and recovering lead complete all as specified and directed.
