Note : (i) Depth shall be measured after bailing out water from septic tank (ii) Cost of bailing out water shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.)

Taking out carefully the cover slab of each manhole of depth from 1.0 m to 2.0 metre and removing the sludge by mechanical process or manual process, transporting to a distance exc 250 m but not exc 500 m and depositing the same in excavated earthen pit of sufficient size and depth in any type of soil within the defence land, where directed, including returning, filling of earth in excavated pit after every disposal of sludge and also applying one coat of linsed oil and cleaning with fresh water, placing the cover slab in position complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down carefully aluminium/ copper point wiring for light/fan/ socket/bell or power point incl. All fittings i.e. switch, sockets, ceiling rose, regulators, batten holders, etc. complete removing materials to store for keeping in safe custody site or handed over to contractor as schedule of credit and making good disturbed surfaces of walls, floors, etc complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Sub class ‘B’ old size well burnt brick laid flate in trenches over the cable for protection of LT cable complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down ceiling fan exhaust fan/ wall fan of any sweep of any make and transporting from any location to MES E/M store yard, and refixing on same location or other location carefully after repairing, washing by petrol, greasing, including rewinding the armature (Rotor) with super enamelled copper wire of suitable size, replacement of defective unserviceable parts (wherever necessary) assembling the same including two coats of synthetic enamel spray painting and testing the fan on full load to entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for plate earthing complete with galvanized mild steel plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically (in earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below normal ground level) with the top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level, the earth electrode surrounded by adequate quantity of charcoal dust and salt to a packed thickness of 15 cm on all sides and incl GI earth lead wire 4 mm dia or 8 SWG bolted (with GI nuts, bolts & check nuts) and earth plate electrode at one end and connected to main switch board/ DBs etc. at the other, earth strip encased(protected) in and including 15 mm bore GI pipe medium grade with all fittings from top of electrode to main switch board/ DBs etc fixed with and including 25 x 6mm flat iron clamps, bolts, nuts and washer and also including providing watering pipe 20mm bore GI pipe medium grade from bottom of earth pit to top of electrode complete with earth pit in PCC 1:2:4 type B-2 using 12 mm graded crushed stone aggregate, RCC cover, funnel, wire mesh including necessary excavation and earth work complete all as specified and shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Pt-I.
