Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity) over areas including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections, and transporting to the embankment location within all lifts and lead within airport premises. a) All kinds of soil.
Construction of embankment with material received from earth work in excavation, earth/moorum in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, breaking clods, over size material, removal of stumps/roots and the like & watering, grading/ levelling each layer with dozers/ grader and rolling every layer with vibratory roller/ earth compactor of minimum 8-12 tonne capacity under optimum moisture conditions to give at least 97% of the maximum dry density (Modified proctor density) as per IS code 2720 (part VIII) including levelling to the required grade and camber, dressing etc. in embankments as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge. a) All kinds of Soil.
Supplying and laying Moorum in layers of 20cm finished depth, breaking clods/ over size material, removal of stumps/roots and the like & watering, grading/levelling each layer with dozers/grader and rolling every layer with vibratory roller/ earth compactor of minimum 8-12 tonnes capacity under optimum moisture conditions to give at least 97% of the maximum dry density (Modified proctor density) as per IS code 2720 (part VIII) and dressing to the required grade, camber and slope etc complete as per specifications and as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. (The item includes cost of work, payment of necessary royalty, carriage of moorum upto work site for all leads and lifts involved. Payment to be made for compacted quantity only).
Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m

Note: Extra cement up to 10% of the minimum specified cement content in design mix shall be payable separately. Painting runway/taxi track/apron marking with adequate nos of coats to give uniform finish with road marking paint of superior make as approved by the Engineer-in-charge, i/c cleaning the surface of ail dirt, scales, oil, grease and other foreign material etc. and lining out complete. a) New work (Two or more coats)
Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded Material conforming to specifications, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material by tippers to work site, for all leads & lifts, spreading in uniform layers of specified thickness with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. a) With material conforming to Grade-I (size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm )
Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate (size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm ) to wet mix macadam (WMM) specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant, carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, for all leads & lifts, laying in uniform layers with grader in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity to achievethe desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
Construction of dry lean cement concrete sub base over a prepared sub-grade with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS:383, the size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm, aggregate cement ratio not to exceed 15:1, aggregate gradation after blending to be as per specifications (as per table 600-1), cement content not to be less than 150 Kg/cum, optimum moisture content to be determined during trial length construction, concrete strength not to be less than 10 Mpa at 7 days, mixed in a batching plant, transported to site, for all leads & lifts, laid with a paver with electronic sensor, compacting with 8-10 tonne vibratory roller, finishing and curing etc. complete as per direction of Engineerin- charge.
Providing and laying Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC) produced in a batching and mixing plant having a Characteristic flexural strength i.e. flexural strength of 4.1 MPa at 28 days using Ordinary Portland cement of 43/53 grade or Portland Pozzolana Cement or Portland Slag cement conforming as per relevant IS codes, to be mixed at site, with 0.5% Super plasticizer by mass of cementitious material, fine aggregate, graded stone aggregates of 40 mm nominal size in appropriate proportion as per specification and job mix formula, laid in panels as per drawings/design as approved by the Engineer-In-Charge using Slip Form Paver or Fixed form paver including anti friction layer, joint filler board, making necessary provision for expansion, dummy and construction joint including filling with Polysulphide sealant of approved make, curing and making profile, complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge and specifications. The item for Execution shall include all operations making pavement for intended use but not limited to following: (i) Polyethylene sheet (White in color) of thickness 400 micron conforming to IS: 2508 with 6mm thick fine sand layer. (ii) Providing and laying in position for expansion joint, 25mm thick pre-cut Synthetic joint filler board of approved make conforming to IS:1838(part 3)-2011, 45 mm from top (to be removed at the time of filling of Polysulphide sealant). (iii) Mechanically cutting dummy joints 3mm wide x 1/3rd thickness of slab which is subsequently widened to 10mm for the top 25mm depth and construction joints 10mm wide x 25mm deep as per specification. (iv) Providing and laying in position Polysulphide sealant of approved make conforming to BS-5212-1990 or IS: 11433-1995 in expansion/ construction / dummy joints including rounding off edges, applying 2 coats of approved primer compatible with the brand of Polysulphide and preparing the surface and applying masking tape along the edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surface and to give neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after application of sealant etc. as per the details below: (a) Expansion Joints of size 25 mm wide and 10 mm deep over 30mm dia expanded closed-cell Polyethylene foam back-up/backer rod of minimum density 22 Kg/Cum, as per manufacturer’s specifications and sketch at Appendix-‘A’. (b) Construction Joints of size 10 mm wide and 10 mm deep over 12mm dia expanded closed-cell Polyethylene foam back-up/backer rod of minimum density 22 Kg/Cum, as per manufacturer’s specifications and sketch at Appendix-‘A’. (c) Dummy Joints of size 10 mm wide and 10 mm deep over 12 mm dia expanded closed-cell Polyethylene foam back-up/backer rod of minimum density 22 Kg/Cum, as per manufacturer’s specifications and sketch at Appendix-‘A’. (v) Making profile as per DGCA CAR, panel drawing showing dummy, construction, expansion joints location. Note: (i) Areas inaccessible to paving equipment shall be constructed by manual/hand guided method. Areas in which manual/hand guided methods of construction become indispensable shall be got approved by the Engineer-in-Charge in writing in advance. (ii) The quantity of cement, type of cement and super plasticizer for one Cum. of finished concrete specified are for tendering purpose only. The contractor shall quote his rates assuming quantity of OPC cement as 360 Kg/Cum or 400 Kg of Portland Pozzolana Cement/ Portland Slag cement. In addition, if the actual quantity of cement & super plasticizer required as per laboratory mix design varies from the quantity assumed above, necessary cost adjustment for deviation in the quantity of cement and super plasticizer as per mix design, if any, shall be done as per the rate of cement and super plasticizer in actual supply voucher from manufacturer/authorized dealer at the time of execution. In the case of authorized distributor, the rate may be authenticated by the manufacturer. The rate of cement and super plasticizer exclusive of GST shall only be considered for payment.
Providing and erecting 2.00 metre high temporary barricading at site; each panel of size 2.50mx2.00m made of 40x40x6mm angle iron or 50x50x3mm hollow MS tube posts/horizontal members/bracings covered with 1.63mm thick MS sheet. The sheet shall be fixed with 30x5mm MS flat by suitable welding/riveting. The panels shall be made so that gap of 50cm above the ground is available making overall height as 2.5m. MS channel ISLC 75 @ 5.70 kg/m, 50cm long shall be provided at the bottom having oval shaped holes of size 50x25mm at both ends with 50cm long MS angle 40x40x6mm bracing. Suitable arrangement shall be made to fix the barricading to avoid from overturning by providing 250mm long expansion fasteners at both ends. The work shall be executed as per drawing/direction of Engineer-in-Charge which includes writing and painting, arrangement for traffic diversion such as traffic signals during construction at site for day and night, glow lamps, reflective signs, marking, flags, caution tape as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The barricading provided shall be retained in position at site continuously i/c shifting of barricading from one location to another location as many times as required during the execution of the entire work till its completion. Rate include its maintenance for damages, painting, all incidentals, labour materials, equipments and works required to execute the job. The barricading shall not be removed without prior approval of Engineerin- Charge. (Note :- One time payment shall be made for providing barricading from start of work till completion of work i/c shifting. The barricading provided shall remain to be the property of the contractor on completion of the work)
Providing and laying non-pressure NP4 class R.C.C. pipes including collars/ spigot jointed with stiff mixture of cement mortar in the proportion of 1:2 (1 cement : 2 fine sand) including testing of joints etc. complete. a) 600mm dia R.C.C. pipe.
Providing suitable new passenger AC vehicle of cylinder capacity minimum 1400 cc, either petrol or diesel driven including driver during the progress of work. The concerned AGM (E-C) will be the controlling officer for movement of vehicle. The rate shall be inclusive of hire and running charges of vehicle including fuel, mobile oil, driver and repair & maintenance charges of the vehicle. Log book shall be maintained at the office of Engineer-In-Charge. The vehicle provided shall have commercial licence. The monthly hiring charges shall be based on vehicle running limit of 1200 km per month. Payment shall be made on pro-rata basis depending on actual mileage logged on monthly basis through RA bills. (Note:- Rs. 3500/- per day shall be recovered from agency through RA bills on account of non providing /non availability /break down of the vehicle.)
Conducting necessary test to determine K-value (modulus of subgrade reaction and determination of field density and moisture content and assessing the K-value after meeting necessary correction for load-deflection curbs, correction of bending of plates and correction of saturation of soils in fields as per IS 9214-1976 (reframed 1987) with 75 cm dia circular plate i/c of submission of solid report of each assignment as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Design, supply, erection and commissioing of flood lighting system with multiple telescopic sections of hot dip galvanized high mast having total height of 20 meters assymetric arrangment and material of construction as per S 355 grade as per BS-EN10 025 (with base plate welded to the bottom sections) and holdings, all sections shall be totally hot dip galvanized and stress fitted at site suitable for wind velocity of 180KM/hr and it shall also include head frame, steel wire rope, non corrosive pulley, raising and lowering mechanism consisting of suitable double drum winch assembly, galvanized lantern carriage arrangement for desire nos. of luminaires to maintain minimum average 20 lux , complete with control gear boxes, electric driven integral power tool, power & control cables etc. as required along with the following etc. complete as required as per the specifications given include making of necessary foundation as per site conditions. a) Galvanized lantern carriage to hold minimum all required LED light fittings for minimum average 20 lux in apron area plus two additional light fittings for redundancy including all accessories, counter weights and self balance etc. b) Raising and lowering mechanism consisting of suitable double drum winch assembly, head frame assembly on top with self fabricating bearing and stainless steel shaft non-corrosive, pulley, & stainless steel wire ropes of minimum 6mm dia 316 Grade S.S hoisting (7/19 construction) etc. completes with internally mounted electric driven 3 phase, 415 volts, 50 Hz operated integral power tool installed inside the base compartment for its operation and also for manual operation. c) Supply, laying and fixing of 2 runs of flexible round sheath 5 core control cables of appropriate rating from junction box to lantern carriage including wiring with suitable size of copper cable for individual wiring of all fittings including 2 Nos Aviation obstruction lights. d) Supply of foundation bolts manufactured from special steel along with nuts, washer, suitable size anchor plate and template. e) Design, casting of open raft type RCC foundation suitable for soil bearing capacity at site. The minimum M20 grade concrete for the high mast considering the safe soil bearing capacity at site as 10 T/sqmtr at 2 meter depth job including all materials and labour and as per site conditions. (The foundation design should be vetted form reputed IIT/ NIT/ any reputed Govt technical institution for withstanding the 180km/hr wind pressure along with desired fittings for 20 average lux level at apron). f) Heavy gauge hot dip galvanized lightening arrester and its necessary connections at the top. g) Wiring of luminaires with all wiring materials like PVC insulated PVC sheathed flexible cable of suitable copper conductor cores of 1.5 sq. mm, lugs, MCB etc as required. h) 03 nos. of latching pins fixed at the top of luminaire carriage equally spaced, which shall move along latching barrels to fix the luminaire carriage with the head frame. These latching pins shall have independent rotation. These pins shall be spring loaded and wire ropes shall pass through these pins towards end termination. There shall be indicators on the three latching pins to indicate correct latching of the luminaire carriage. Each latching pin shall be capable of supporting the weight of the entire luminaire carriage. There shall be rollers made of PVC or nylon connected at the bottom of the luminaire carriage to guide the movement of the luminaire carriage along the high mast shaft while raising and lowering.Weatherproof cast aluminium junction box shall be provided on the Carriage Assembly for terminating the trailing cable and power cable to luminaries. i) Supply & installation of outdoor stand mounted feeder pillar with 63A TPN MCB incomer, single dial time switch, 45A TP contactor for the automatic switching of luminaries, power tool control with 2 no 9A contactors and raise lower push button, Incoming 25/35 sq. mm and out going 16 & 2.5 sq. mm terminals. j) SITC of 2 Nos LED Aviation obstruction lights. k) Testing of soil in approved government laboratory to determine bearing capacity. l) 2 Set of Earthing for each high mast with G.I. earth plate 600 mm X 600 mm X 6 mm thick including accessories, and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe of 2.7 metre long etc. with charcoal/ coke and salt as required.
Design, supplying Installation, testing and commissioning of suitable LED Flood light Luminaires (i.e. 300 Watt to 350 watt) suitable to operate on 230V AC power supply (combination of symmetrical and non symmetrical if required) as per requirement on high mast carriage mounted at a height of 20 mtr in the new apron so as to achieve desired lux level (Minimum Average lux level of 20 Lux & not less than 10 lux at extremities) i/c connection, interconnection and allied accessories etc as required as per technical specification, special condition attached and as per site condition requirement. The total connection load shall not be more than 4 KW. (LED fitting should be efficacy>100 (Lumen/w), CRI > 70, IP66 rating). (5 year guarantee shall be provided for complete fittings i/c controller by manufacturer/dealer in favour of AAI).
Supply of pressure die-cast aluminium IP66 fittings in the range of 300 Watt to 350 watt power consumption suitable to operate on 230V ac power supply to achieve the required lux level in the flood lighting system along with driver, lenses, mounting bracket, nut/bolt etc complete as per tender specification and approval make & model. (LED fittings should be efficacy >100(Lumen/w),CRI> 70, IP66 rating). (5 year guarantee shall be provided for complete fittings i/c controller by manufacturer/dealer in favour of AAI).

Bus Bar: 1 set of 100 Amps FP bus bar of high conductivity electrolytic quality aluminium alloy. Outgoings: (i) 08 Nos. FP MCCB 32 Amps, directly connected to bus bar in separate compartment. LED type lamp complete with lens clamping mechanism, convertor, central column assembly, breakable coupling, gaskets, two pin secondary lead plugs, base plate with six numbers stainless M-10 steel bolts, spring and plain washers ,including lamps,omni directional blue lens, 0-15W 6.6Amps LED lamp and other accessories confirming to ICAO requirements and as per the enclosed particular specifications etc. complete as required.
Supply of following rating of 5KV grade 50 Hz series type isolating transformer, encapsulated in polyster resin finally moulded with neoprene type rubber with primary & secondary connections as specified in particular specifications complete as required. a) 15W, 6.6/6.6Amps.

Design, fabrication and supply of cuboidal type M.S. Transformer housing box, water tight metal container with 10 mm thick cast iron moulding all around except on top surface which is 15 mm thick. The housing box shall have overall dimension as (750mm X 350mm X 450mm i.e. LXBXD) partitioned into 03 no. of chambers. These chamber shall be cuboidal with dimension as follows: (a) 01 No. Middle chamber of outside dimension (350mm X 350mm X 450mm) - There shall be a clear opening at the top of middle chamber of dia 220mm, provided with round MS cover plates of suitable size having thickness of 15 mm. The inner chamber walls in the opposite sides shall have 02 Nos. of opening of size 100mm X 100 mm at 75 mm above base level suitable for cable entry and shall have one clear hole at the bottom to receive 15mm dia G.I. pipe for water drainage.The base plate and middle chamber shall each have 06 nos. of M-10 tapped holes and also provided with 06 nos. of SS bolts for fixing the cover plates on the top of the chamber. (b) 02 nos. of Side chambers (200mm X 350mm X 450 mm) - There shall be opening at the top of the side chambers of rectangular size (100mm X 250mm), provided with rectangular cover plates of suitable size having thickness of 15 mm. The rectangular cover plate and side chamber top shall each have 06 nos. of M-10 tapped holes and also provided with 06 nos. of SS bolts for fixing the cover plates on the top of the chamber. The two opposite sides of each side chamber wall shall have one clear hole to receive 50 mm dia G.I. pipe at 200 mm (approx.) above base level, 01 no. clear hole on the base level of the outside wall of the outer chamber to receive 15 mm dia G.I. pipe for water drainage and provision of moulded 02 nos. loop earth termination stud bolts with double washer of 40 mm length at inner side of outer wall of both the side chamberst. The fabrication work of the housing box shall comply the submitted drawing approved by EIC.
Installation of M.S. transformer housing box as per S.No. 1, after Excavating/Cutting the hard bituminous/PQC area of runway shoulder using groove cutting machine to a minimum dimensions (L= 1000mm, B= 600mm, D= 600mm) or as per site requirement, providing base cement concrete of 1:3:6 of size 1000 x 600 x 175 mm thick, and PCC of 1:2:4 all around the housing box of width not less than 125 mm, the top elevation of the box shall be evenly sloped all round using 1:2:4 cement concrete including providing and fixing 250 mm long 15mm dia "B" class GI pipe with check nut for drainage of water, properly alignment with existing GI pipes/ Power duct pipes as required and disposal of excavated concrete, debris/malba as per instruction of engineer-in-charge etc. complete as required.
Installation, testing and commissioning of Omni-directional elevated type Taxiway Light Fitting on the existing tranformer (MS) housing boxes including installation of transformer, lens, lamps gasket, nut bolts, lens holding clamp and other accessories i/c alignment, levelling, isolating transformer connection, earth connection etc. all complete as required.

Supply of 1C X 6 Sq.mm size 5 KV grade stranded copper conductor single core PVC insulated, PVC sheathed, unshielded, anti-termite and rodent treated, Airport Lighting HT cable generally confirming to IS 1554- Part-II 1981 with up to date amendments and as specified in particular specifications of the following sizes as required.

Supply, of internally illuminated LED based with central split type opening for easy maintenance mandatory/information signages of various sizes made out of 4mm thick glare free poly carbonate sheet at front and body (all sides except front ) made out of 2.0mm thick powder coated anodized aluminum profile having minimum width of 150mm and supported at back by 50mm dia (Nominal size) die cast aluminum pipe at a separation and frangible coupling as per ICAO norms. Light source shall be highly luminous, long life typical 50,000 Hrs. type, 11 Nos LED’s of 0.5 W or equivalent (Osram/ Philips / Nichia/Edison) assembled on each PCB of minimum size 700mm x 20mm x 2mm for boards having height 800mm or more. Efficiency of LED shall have delivered minimum output 80 lumens per watt and colour temperature should be more than 5000 Kelvin with proper heat dissipation. These aluminum PCB’s should be placed across the length of the board in order to ensure uniform distribution of light across the board. The signage boards with length varying from 800 mm to 3000mm shall besuitable for operation on series circuit at variable current from 2.8Amp - 6.6Amp (brightness of the signage should be constant with current variation) including supply and installation of suitable capacity/wattage electronic converters and isolatingtransformers. All the signage shall have letters and symbols made by computerized cutting of vinyl and pasting on the polycarbonate sheet from inside/outside of the sign face of required color as per ICAO.
SITC of SNI (Stand Number Indicator) Triangular Side (Fascia 800 X 600 X 2) to indicate SNI coordinates at gate or stand fabricated with 2mm Aluminium Sheet. The SNI shall be triangular in shape with rear side of 1700 mm and each front side of 1000 mm. The total height of triangle shall be 900 mm. There shall be laser cut opening of 800 X 600 mm of front fascia for indicating SNI. The long-life facia is UV stabilized polycarbonate face of 4mm thickness with special adhesive and vinyl pasting from inside of polycarbonate face fixed from inside of fascia with changing arrangement from inside. The boards shall be internally uniformly illuminated with LED lamp(modules) and all other accessories including having individual LED drivers to work on 230V AC supply complete with all internal wirings, connectors. The top Cover shall be single piece 2mm Al sheeting which shall cove the entire triangle with edge bent up to 25mm on all side to prevent ingress of water and shall be openable for maintenance of board. The board shall be in grey colour or any other colour as decided by EIC.
SITC of WGS (World Geodetic System) of size 1220 mm x 800 mm to indicate WGS coordinates at gate or stand fabricated with centralsplit type opening for easy maintenance made of reinforced 2mm thick anodized aluminum profile with suitable support. The rear panel shall be made of 1.2 mm with ready to install fitting for mounting on pole or façade. The long-life facia is UV stabilized polycarbonate face of 4mm thickness with special adhesive and vinyl pasting from inside of polycarbonate face. The board shall have hinged front face to allow easy access for maintenance. Even light distribution ensured due to LED array. The boards shall be internally uniformly illuminated with LED lamp(modules) and all other accessories including having individual LED drivers to work on 230V AC supply complete with all internal wirings, connectors. The board shall be in grey colour or any other colour as decided by EIC.
Supply of 7-meter height Swaged MS pole Fabricated from MS Pipes of following Sizes. 1) Up to 2 meter from Bottom 219mm x 5mm Thick. 2) From 2 meter to 7 meter 193mm x 5mm thick with 300mm inside overlap with the 200 mm dia pipe with swaging. 3) Base of 600mm x 600mm x 25mm thick MS plate with 250mm X 10 mm thick tapered web flanges and providing 1 No. templete for the same. 4) 8Nos. Of holes Suitable for M25 X 1000mm Foundation bolts. 5) Double Ended flange type pole of 300mm height shall be made for fixing Triangular SNI with the poles on top side. 6) Suitable size water proof junction box for terminating incoming and outgoing cable with a provision of suitable rating MCB. The entire ploe shall be sand blasted, chemically treated and PU painted in desired colour as approved by EIC.
Erection of 7 mtr. height street light pole of above S.No. 23 pole including the RCC foundation made from cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand :4 graded stone agregate 20mm nominal size) as per OEM design including excavation and refilling etc. as required.
Providing MS Barricading around the High Mast made from 150mm x 150mm, 10mm thick equal angles for vertical support and 80mm x 80mm, 6mm thick equal angle for 2 layers of horizontal support to be fixed with vertical support using M-10 x 30mm SS nut bolts with washers. The vertical members shall be of height 5 feet out of which 2 feet to be grouted in the ground using PCC 1:2:4 (1 Cement: 2 Coarse Sand: 4 Graded Stone aggregate of 20mm nominal size) i/c necessary excavation as required. Earthing with G.I. earth pipe 4.5 metre long, 40 mm dia including accessories, and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe etc. (but without charcoal/ coke and salt ) as required.
Providing and fixing 25 mm X 5 mm G.I. strip in 40 mm dia G.I. pipe from earth electrode including connection with G.I. nut, bolt, spring, washer excavation and re-filling etc. as required.

Making different sizes of Foundation by Providing and laying in position cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) in foundation of pump, Signages, DG set etc including form work etc as required.
Providing and laying earth connection from earth electrode with 6 SWG dia G.I. Wire in 15 mm dia G.I. pipe from earth electrode including connection with G.I. thimble excavation and re-filling as required.
