Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

The Rates quoted by the tenderer shall be Exclusive of GST.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Bidder shall pay Contract Management Module processing fees of 0.025% of the contact value (Min Rs.500/- & Max Rs.7500/-) soon after contract has been issued to bidder

The tenderer shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of his tender, and the employer will in no case be responsible and liable for those costs

Conditional tenders will not be accepted.

All the formats prescribed in the bid document shall be filled by the tenderer in complete manner.

Royalty on construction materials and other taxes will be deducted as per prevailing Govt., orders as may be modified from time to time.

Any discrepancies observed in the documents uploaded by the tenderer the tender shall liable to rejected.

Earnest Money Deposit will have to be in any one of the forms as per the instructions in the financial bid document and shall have to be valid for 45 days beyond the validity of the tender.

All formats prescribed in the bid documents shall be filled in complete manner (section 2 & of the bid document)and shall be uploaded properly, signed by tenderer. Necessary certificates shall be uploaded along with the formats wherever required. General documents section can be used for this purpose

Tenderers are required to read the Bid Documents carefully before submission of their bid

If the tenderer quotes bid price below the estimated contract value (Amount put to tender) then the tenderer has to submit the additional security deposit equal to the difference in cost and the additional security deposit should have a validity for the period of execution.

If the numbers of page to be attached in one particular attachment is more, then all the pages can be put into one folder, zipped and then attached or else all the pages can be pasted in one word file and then this word file could be converted to PDF (portable documents format) format and then attached. The Contractor shall strictly take all reasonable steps to protect the environment on and off the site and to avoid damage or nuisance to persons or to property of the public or others resulting from pollution, noise or other causes arising as a consequence of his methods of operation.

Materials like, steel (primary), cement, bitumen etc., required for the work shall be procured by the tenderer themselves and should be got tested positive by the quality control authority before use on the work.

Tenderer should have latest GST Registration and latest clearance certificate in their name

The Defects Liability Period is 1 year from the date of completion of the work.

Total value of Civil Engineering Construction works executed in the and payments received in the last five year i.e., 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24 , 2024-25 & 2025-26.

The Tenderers are bound to furnish the original certified documents to the employer within 3 days from the day of opening of technical bid for verification, failing which the bid of tenderer will be considered as technically non responsive.

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document

Clause 3.2(d) To qualify for award of this contract The tenderer or his identified sub contractor should possess required valid electrical license for executing building electrification works issued by KPWD/ Government electrical Inspectorate and should have executed similar Building electrical works in the last five years i.e (2021-22 to 2025-26) totaling Rs. 3.61 Lakhs in any one year Note-The Work done certificate should be issued by the Officer not less than the rank of Executive Engineer of State or Central Government/ Semi Government/Government undertaking/ autonomous bodies of Government will be considered for the clause 3.2 (d). The letter of willingness of the sub contractor to be engaged for electrical works should be obtained and uploaded in the KPP-portal

Clause 3.2(e)The Tenderer or his identified sub-contractor should possess valid license for executing water supply/sanitary engineering works issued by BWSSB/ KUWS&DB and should have executed similar building water supply/sanitary engineering works in the last five years i.e (2021-22 to 2025-26)totaling Rs. 2.81 Lakhs in any one year. Note-The Work done certificate should be issued by the Officer not less than the rank of Executive Engineer of State or Central Government/ Semi Government/Government undertaking/ autonomous bodies of Government will be considered for the clause 3.2 (e). The letter of willingness of the sub contractor to be engaged for water Supply works should be obtained and uploaded in the KPP-portal.

Clause 3.6 -Tenderers who meet the above specified minimum qualifying criteria, will only be qualified, if their available tender capacity is more than the total tender value.
