M&L for disconnecting all HT electrical connections from HT vacuum circuit breaker of capacity from 400-800 Amps, 11 KV, for servicing,necessary repairs and re-assembling complete comprising of the following including testing and commissioning all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (a) Dismantling the VCB from the enclosure consisting of vacuum interrupter assembly, socket contacts, checking the serviceability of all parts, cleaning, alignment of closing/opening mechanisms and re-assembling the unit complete. (b) Cleaning the external/internal surface of bushings with CTC/ Tri-chloro-ethylene to remove the accumulation of carbon or any other deposits. (c) Checking the vacuum interrupter assembly and contacts and ensure the alignment of contacts. (d) Checking the condition of the spring charging motor along with gear box, checking the operations of the closing/tripping coil including servicing to the motor, lubrication of bearing surfaces etc. (e) Checking the ratchet wheel assembly, driving and charging parts and adjust. (f) Inspecting all bolts, nuts, pins and ensure collar pins are in place and they are tight and opened properly. g) Applying petrolium jelly to moving contact arms and Doctor beck solution to insulated parts moving arms of breaker and reassembling the unit Note:-Cost of additional hardware like, bolts, nuts , washers and spring washers, petrolium jelly ctc, to put the breaker in serviceable condition is deemed to be included in the rates quoted.
M&L for caliberation of relay of any type and make by conducting primary injection test to HT 11 KV VCB/OCB panel with connected auxilary relays by injecting current (as per primary ratio of CT) through CT bus bar terminals and protective relays/ tripping coils completely including rectifiation of defects in control wiring if any for proper tripping of circuit braker to achieve the discrimination in tripping time of upstream brakers and as per actual loads complete including submission of test report with recommendation complete all as specified and as directed.
Note for Item No 4 :- The Caliberation of VCB's/OCB's to be carried out by authorised technician of OEM as approved by GE. The contractor shall provide necessary testing kits, testisng equipments,tools etc and shall also prepare the detailed test reports panel wise duly bounded and submit to the department. Rate for the kits and equipment is deemed to beincluded in rate quoted. Testing and turning shall be carried out in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge to the satisfaction of department failing payment for the above item will not be made to the contractor. No claim from the contractor be enterained on this account.

(f) Caliberation of OCB by conducting primary injection method test though skilled manpower. Note : Cost of spares required to make OCB functional is deemed to be included in the quoted rate by the contractor.
Material and labour for attending complaint of HT 6.6/11 KV electric power supply failure immediately through skilled electrician having minimum 5 years of experience in the field of HT Electric Supply respectively incl checking HT Breakers, detecting location of fault, rectification of problem, testing and restoration of power supply complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : The cost of minor spares such as lugs, nut, bolts, washer, fuses, electric wire, T&P required to attend the complaints deemed to be included in quoted rate by the contractor. 2. Detecting of HT/LT fault and its rectification after informing complaint by concerned JE E/M or Engr-in-Charge within 3 hours. In case of failure noticed more than 3 hrs recovery shall be effected @ Rs.500/- per hour beyond 3 hrs.

Material and labour for dismantling HT cable connection of existing size from the VCB/Transformer or any other location, checking the continuity of the HT Cable with the help of HT Merger and detecting fault manually or with the help of HT fault locating machine, site clearance and excavation in any kind of soil strata or through any type of road manually or with the help of JCB for the clearance of HT Cable fault and fixing of HT joints incl testing in presence of JE/Engr-in-Charge, spreading of river sand over the straight through joint and fixing of HT Cable cover, refilling and make good as per existing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : 1. Cost of hiring HT Fault finding machine, HT Megger, JCB for excavation and material required for the making good as per existing is included in the quoted rate by the contractor. 2. The HT cable joints, HT cable, sand and protection cover shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of the schedule. 3. Detecting of HT fault and its rectification incl fixing HT Cable joint after informing complaint by concerned JE E/M or Engr-in-Charge within 12 hours. In case of failure noticed more than 12 hrs recovery shall be effected @ Rs.1000/- per hour beyond 12 hrs.
M & L for (i) Disconnecting the HT/LT side and earthing connections of the transformer, (ii) Lifting transformer with the help of crane, loading on suitable vech to transport it to the workshop at and Unloading at workshop for servicing (iii) Dismantling of HV/LV bushing, opening of top cover, disconnecting of connections of tap changer of transformer (iv) Draining out the complete transformer oil (v) Lifting up the core and winding assembly (vi)washing and cleaning the core, rewinding of all burnout, damaged coils of core and phase , transformer tank and radiator fins with help of pressurised transformer oil for removal of sludge and sludge deposit so as to make them free from dust, dirt and sludge deposit (vi)Heating and ovening of core and winding assembly complete in vaccuum chamber for 72 hours so as to remove any moisture content in the core/winding and attaining requisite IR value, (vii) Retanking of complete core & winding assembly & fixing tap changer after servicing and testing, (viii) Refixing HV/LV bushing and making all internal connections, (ix)Providing new gasket packing minimum 12mm thick, including nut bolt washer complete, (x) Transporting transformer back to the site , Lifting it down with the help of crane and reconnecting the HT/LT cable and earthing connections complete all as directed and of followings capacities:

Note for item no 21.00 :- (i) In case of damage during tpt/ loading/unloading at any stage after recipt of transformer from Dept, the contracor shall be repsonsible for damage and it shall be made good by him at his own expense.the decision of Engineer in charge in the regards shall be fixed & biding. Supply , fixing, testing in repairs of JEF ECO SAFE Maintenance Free Grounding Solution set comprising of High tensile low carbon steel rod of 3 Mts length & 25 mm dia with 250 micron ( averaSchneider ) molecularly bonded copper on the outer surface to confirm with requirements of UL467 along with Back-fill compound strictly be a Carbon based conductive concrete type which has a resistivity of less than 0.12 Ohm Mtr as per Clause 14.5D of IEEE : 80 standard. Back-fill compound should be electronically conductive ( Like in metals ) and should not depend on moisture for conduction. JEF Powerfill Loresco compound shall be supplied in 50 Pound Bag. (1 Bag of 50 Pounds required per earthing set). Back-fill comound should be environment friendly, should solidify when mixed with water and set like concrete and should not leach / diffuse into the ground. A suitable earth terminaton clamp should also be supplied along with the set alongwith earth pit weatherproof incl all as specified . Note : Back-fill compund shall not be mixed with any soil while pouring in the bore hole.

Note : Cost for material and fixing of required stands for mouting flood lights is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.
Supply and fix in replacement of HT Cable route indicators made up of RCC Slab of min 20cm x 20 cm x 1.2 m (LXBXH) duly white painted and written "MES HT CABLE"/HT STRAIGHT JOINT" as required in Black colour complete all as specified and directed. (Note : The cost of excavation upto 70cm , and PCC of ratio 1:2:4 shall be included in quoted rate)
