Earth work excavation for foundation in all soils and sub-soils and to full depth as may be directed except in rock requiring blasting inclusive of shoring shuttering, bailing out water wherever necessary and depositing the surplus earth within the compound in places shown by the departmental officers with an initial lead of 10 mts and initial lift of 2 mts. and clearing and levelling the site, etc., complete complying with standard specification.

Supplying and erecting steel centering including necessary supports for plane surfaces for Reinforced Cement Concrete works such as column footings, column pedestals, plinth beams, grade beams, staircase steps, etc. which require only nominal strutting using mild steel sheets of size 90cm x 60cm and 10 BG stiffened with welded mild steel angles of size 25mm x 25mm x 3 mm for boarding, laid over silver oak joists of size 10cm x 6.5cm spaced at about 75cm centre to centre or at suitable intervals etc. complete in all floors complying with standard specifcation. (Payment for centering shall be given after the concrete is laid)
Supplying and erecting centering for sides and soffits including necessary supports and strutting upto 3.29 M height for plane surfaces as detailed below in all floors with all cross bracings using Mild Steel sheets of size 90 x 60 cm and 10 BG stiffened with welded Mild Steel angle of size 25mm x 25mm x 3 mm for boarding laid over silver oak joists of size 10cm x 6.50 cm spaced at abote 90 cm centre to centre and supported by casurina props of 10cm to 13 cm dia spaced at not more than 75 cm centre to centre etc. complete complying with the standard specificaiton. (Payment for centering shall be given after the concrete is laid) (e) Centering for curved surfaces of all RCC items of work
Cement Concrete 1:3:6 (One Cement, Three crushed stone sand and Six broken stone jelly) using 40mm size hard broken stone jelly for dummy columns, excluding cost of centering shuttering reinforcement grills and fabrication charges but including curing etc. complete. (Reinforced Cement Concrete 1:2:4 for slab to be extended upto top of splashing with pressed tiles and future extension rods to be embedded in CC 1:3:6 (One Cement, Three crushed stone sandand Six hard broken stone jelly). Dummy columns should be at least 1 metre height)
Boring to a width of 600mm using machinaries such as boring rig excavator, crane etc., through all strata expect hard rock up to the level of ( - ) 5.36m through the length of proposed diaphragm wall in alternate bays of 4m each including removal of any boulders encountered, retaing the earth with required pentonate powder etc., from collapsing and disposing of the excavated materials with in a lead of 1 km as directed by the departmental officers including hire charges for machinaries and other tools and plants employed etc., complete .
Providing and laying in position, Standardised Concrete Mix M-30 Grade in accordance with IS:456-2000 using 20mm and down graded hard broken granite stone jelly for all RCC items of works with minimum cementcontent of 400 kg/m3 and maximum water cement ratio of 0.45, including admixture (plasticiser / superplasticiser) in recommended proportions as per IS:9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability with about (5.0 cu.m.) 7730 kg. of 20mm machine crushed stone jelly and with about (3.3 cu.m.) 5156 kg. of 10-12mm machine crushed stone jelly and with about (4.79 cu.m') 7670 kg. of crushed stone sand, but excluding cost of reinforcement grill and fabricating charges, centering and shuttering and also including laying, vibrating with mechanical vibrators, finishing, curing, etc. and providing fixtures like fan clamps in the RCC floor/ roof slabs wherever necessary without claiming extra, etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. The coarse and fine aggregates to be used should comply with the requirements of IS Standards. (No separate payment will be made by the Department for the excess usage of materials).
Supplying, fabricating and placing in position Mild Steel / Ribbed Tor Steel grills for all RCC works as per design given including cost of steel and G.I. binding wire in all floors etc. complete complying with standard specification. (Contractor has to make his own arrangements for the supply of steel and binding wire)
Dismantling the reinforced cement concrete guide wall and the diaphragm wall top portion at cut off level cutting and separting the steel grills disposing of the depris at the locations specified by the departmental officers with in a lead of 1 km
Supplying and filling graded HBG stone jelly 40mm to 80mm gauge for providing base for landing platform behind the diaphragm wall including cost and conveyance of the metals and labour charges for spreading and packing the metals with proper aligment including stocking the metals for premeasurments etc., complete
Laying cement concrete 1:4:8 using 40mm gauge HBG stone jelly for landing platform base concrete including cost and conveyance of all materials and labour charges for laying compacting and curing etc., complete complying with std. specification
Laying reinforcement cement concrete 1:1.5:3 by the volume basis using 20mm gauge HBG stone jelly for landing platform including cost and conveyance of all materials labour charges for laying copacting by tamping finishing and curing excluding cost of steel etc., complete complying with std.. Providing wearing coat with Plain Cement concrete 1:1 1/2:3 using 20 mm gauge HBG stone jelly including cost and conveyance of all materials to site excluding centering strutting but including laying curing etc., complete.
Supplying and fixing tyre fender including fixing charge, cost of all materials labour charges, etc., complete as directed by the departmental officers.
Supplying and filling up the sand in Platform area over the ordinary existing ground surface as directed by departmental officers.
Filling the area with gravel laid in layers if not more than 15 cm thick well watered and consolidated etc., complete as per standard specifications.
Supplying and stacking casurina poles and pullies of good quality work site as directed by the departmental officers.
a) Casurina poles of dia 13cm to 15cm (providing at distance of 30cm c/c )
b) Casurina poles of dia 4 to 5 cm at 25 cm c/c
Pointing the edge and driving the casurina poles in to the sea bed below G.L. as directed by the departmental officers.
a) for Ist 1m depth from the sea bed.
b) Driving the casurina poles in to the sea bed beyond 1m depth (or) part of the sea bed from the sea bed as directed by departmental officers.
Casurina walling pieces of 4cm to 5cm diameter including fixing nails and tying with robes as directed by the departmental officers.
Earth work in all soils except hard rock requiring blasting and conveying earth by using tippers for formation of bund with a lead of 6 KM in layers of suitable thickness, depending upon type of compaction equipment, and not exceeding 23 cm thickness, breaking clods, watering to OMC (Optimum moisture content) and compaction of each layer to 95% Proctor density through deployment of appropriate compaction equipment (8-10 T power roller / vibratory power roller / short width (+/-0.90n width drum) power roller or vibratory power roller / fuel-operated or electrically operated vibratory plate compactors, ensuring compaction of designed bund section including side slopes complete as per specifications.The rate includes seigniorge fees also.
Supplying and filling up the empty cement gunny bags with sand stitching them and dumping adjusted the casurina poles and pullies driven in the sea for the formation of bund as directed by departmental officers.
Supplying and Fixing in position pipe bollard of 300mm dia as per drawing and as directed at site including mateials, transporting, handling, cutting, mixing, placing wherever necessary including filling the hollow portion of pipe bollard with RCC 1:1.5:3 proportion, painting the exposed surface area of steel members with one coat of zinc rich epoxy primer wiht a minimum dry film thickness of 25 microns followed by two coats of coal tar expoxy paint with a total dry film thickness of 2 coats of 200 microns etc inclulding all labour, materials, tools, transport etc complete as directed by department officers
Supplying and fixing of GI mooring ring with hook & eye 20mm gauge galvanized M.S. rods fixed at regular interval as with suitable bolts and nuts as specified in drawing including labour charges etc., complete as directed by the Departmental Officers.
Deepening and dredging in all types of soil as existing at site including loose or compacted sand, silt mixed with / without clay or soft clay or any other soft materials including boulders, spilled cargoes and any broken concrete pieces/debris and foreign materials like fishing nets, broken pieces or mechanised boats etc by suitable methods acceptable to the Departmental Officers using jack up type cutter suction dredger to dredge in the river mouth and wave breaking zone and sufficient number of barges for dumping, transporting and disposal without disturbing / damaging the wharf / jetty structures, break water, groyne including removal and conveying the dredged materials and dumping in the specified area shown by the Departmental Officers including spreading etc. complete as shown in the drawings and as directed by the Departmental Officers with all lead and lift, Mobilisation of Machineries, cost of surveying at the time of part payment and at completion stage including all tools, plants, equipment and labour, consumables fuel etc., complete as directed by the departmental officers.
Conveying and Dumping the dredged earth with a lead of 3Km, outside the harbour complex including loading charges, conveyance charges etc. Complete and as directed by the departmental officers.

Plastering with c.m 1:3 (one cement and three sand). 20mm thick including water proof compound as per specifications etc., complete as per standard specifications.
