Material and Labour for Preparation of old concrete/ bituminous surfaces by brushing and painting with water based paint in pattern of lines/arrows/letters etc on road or pavements exc 10cm width or girth, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Material and Labour for Preparation of old surfaces and applying one coats of synthetic enamel paint on wooden/steel/ concrete surfaces, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Material and Labour for Grass cutting by manual or mechanical means on the both side of runway as per requirement basis and timing as feasible and directed by the users complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Material and Labour for ploughing the old sand filling in soft ground arrester, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge
Material and Labour for Cleaning of storm water drain by excavating mud/ soil manually and removing the exacavated material to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr (inner girth of drain 0.5 mtr to 1.5 mtr and depth of excavated material not exceeding 20 cm) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for Surface dressing in soft/loose soil not exceeding 30cm deep and averaging 15cm deep complete including taking out all necessary grass shurbs sapplings wild bushes and any type of vegetation and removing out of runway boundary complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Material and labour for repair to patches area exc 300 Sqcm and n exc 500Sqcm, depth n.exc 80mm including sweeping free from dust and mud or water with wire or jute brush scoring sunken surfaces in runway pavement , cutting arround edges to at least full depth of carpet layer making proper rectangular or square shape patch and making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer (catonic emulsion RS) premix asphaltic dense concrete 50 to 80mm (Consolidated thickness) with 6% binder content by weight of total mix with coarse sand and aggregate 6mm down grade using polymeric modified bitumen rollled and compacted to required camber and gradient with hand roller complete and cleaning the surface by brooming and making FOD (Foreign Object Debris) free surface to runway, complete all as specified and directed by engineer-in-charge.
Material and Labour for Cutting and racking out old sealing compound from the old joints cleaning with kerosene oil, drying with blow lamp, cleaning the joints portion throughly to ensure dust free joints using compressed air, trimming the edges of joints with diamond cutter and cleaning the joints atleast 40mm wherever required, removing all dust/ debris out of runway and filling the existing joints with polyurethene based sealent after applying a coat of primer to vertical surfaces of concrete which are in contact with the compound and finishing the joints properly leaving 3mm gap from top surface of concrete over and including backup rod complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge of following sizes. Note: Any damage to the existing backup rod shall be made good by the contractor without any extra cost. Make: Colpar 200 of Fosroc/Rallithane 872 of Pavetech/Bostic
Joints of size 1cm to 1.5cm wide and 1.5 cm to 3.0 cm deep (minimum depth of joint filling shall be 10 mm).
Joints of size 2cm to 2.5cm wide and 1.5cm to 3.0 cm deep (minimum depth of PU joint filling shall be 10 mm).
Material and Labour for Repair to broken spalled edges of joints, pot holes etc of existing concrete slab by cuting 'U' grooves with mechanical cutter, cleaning the joint portion thoroughly to ensure dust free joints using compresser air removing all dust/debris out of runway and applying compound of hardener Aradur-140 and Araldite GY-257 primer in the ratio of 1:2 by weight and filling the joints with epoxy mixture of Aradur-140, Araldite GY-257 and quartz sand & silicon flour mix No 10 in the ratio of 1:2:15 by weight and finishing the top surface smooth all as per manufacturers instructions , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge of following sizes. Make: M/s Huntsman Advanced Materials (India) Pvt. Ltd or equivalent as approved by Garrison Engineer
Joints of size 1cm to 2cm wide and depth not exceeding 2.0 cm
Joints of size 1 cm to 2cm wide and depth exc 2 and not exceeding 4.0 cm
Note for items No.1 to 10 :- The work is to be carried out in operational runway where air traffic plays regularly.Therefore the site shall be made available as per the availability and as decided by the airforce authority. Contractor shall not have any claim whatsoever on this account at any belated stage.Contractor shall arrange man and material accordingly and shall quote his rates accordingly.
