REPAIR/MAINTENANCE OF LT DISTRIBUTION NETWORK LT PANELS AND CONNECTED ITEMS AT MIL STN DAPPAR UNDER AGE(I) DAPPAR

Disconnecting & taking out old unserviceable LT cable of any size complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply, laying, jointing, connecting, testing & commissioning UG cable XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip armoured electric power cable (heavy duty 1100 volts grade with standard aluminium conductor of cross sectional area 120 sqmm x 3.5 core complete all as specified and as directed. NOTES - (i). The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of arranging respective shutdown, commissioning of feeder after the completion of job and inclusive of Cable glands, lugs, nut bolts and washers any other minor spares and jobs required for the completion of the job. (ii) The cable must be with out joint from one end to another end (iii).Excavation, returning, filling, removal,sand cushioning and PCC cable covers will be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this schedule.

Excavation in trenches in any type of soil n exc 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5 m in depth including forming bottom to required level or slope for laying pipes / laying of cable and getting out complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning filling in any type of soil in trenches including spreading, leveling and well ramming in layers n,exc 25 cm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removal of surplus soil to a distance n exc in 50 m and deposited where directed at a level n exc 1.5 m above the starting point, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for laying dry fine river sand in trenches as cushioning to underground cable for protection of cable in two layers 8 cm thick before laying of cables and 15 cm thick after laying the cable and punning the sand down and around cable complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Only punned thickness of sand shall be measured for payment.
