Improvement and Renovation of Homen Borgohain Road (S.H. -03) (From Ch. 0.00 Km (Narengi Tiniali) to Ch. 17.60 Km(Gobardhan Chariali) and link road at Dalbari, Satgaon under SOPD(G) for the year 2024-25

Homen Borgohain Road: Dismantling of existing structures like culverts bridges retaining walls and other Dismantling of existing structures likeculverts,bridges, retainingwalls and other structure comprising of masonry, cement concrete, woodwork, steel work, including T&P and scaffolding wherever necessary, sorting the dismantled material, disposal of unserviceable material and stacking the serviceable material with all lifts and lead of 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 202.II) By Mechanical Means (b) RCC (Old damaged narrow drain)

Dismantling of cement concrete pavements by mechanical means using pneumatic tools breaking to pieces not exceeding 0.02cum in volume and stock piling at designated locations and disposal of dismantled materials up to a lead of 1000 m, stacking serviceable and unserviceable materials separately

By Mechanical means (with milling machine) : Cold milling of bituminous pavement surface up to the required depth by mechanical means using million machine without disturbing the under laying layers to proper line and level , cleaning the surface properly after milling and removing the loose materials, stacking the milled materials for re use, necessary guarding barricading & lighting, including hirecharge of machinery, cost of fuel and labour and other incidental changes all complete and as per direction on Engineer in charge.

Excavation for roadwork in soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross-sections,and transporting to the embankment location with a lift up to 1.5m and lead upto1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 302.3

Construction of sub grade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site,spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of Table 300.2with lead up to 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 303.1. (i) Private Land

Constructionof unlined surface drains of average cross-sectionala rea0.40 sqm in soil to specified lines,grades, levels and dimensions.Excavated material to be used in embankment with a lift up to3m and lead of 50m (average lead 25m) as per Technical Specification Clause 307.(B) Mechanical Means

Cement Treated Soil Sub-Base/Base: Providing, laying and spreading soil on a prepared sub-grade, pulverising, adding the designed quantity of cement to the spread soil, mixing in placewith rotavator, grading with themotor grader and compacting with the road roller at OMC to achieve the desired unconfined compressive strength and to form a layer of sub base/base as per Technical Specification Clause 404.For 4 percent quantity of cement by weight of soil.

Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material,spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator atOMC, andcompacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per Technical SpecificationClause 401. (A) By Mix in Place Method (ii) For Grading II Material

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mixer (Pug Mill), carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers in sub-base/base course on a well prepared sub-base and compacting with smooth wheel roller of 80 to100kN weight to achieve the desired density including lighting, barricading and maintenance of diversion, etc as per Tables 400.11 & 400.12 and Technical Specification Clause 406.

Providing and applying primer coat with Bitumen emulsion(SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 1.2-1.5 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502. iii) High porosity
