REPAIR TO WATER PROOFING TREATMENT, WATER SUPPLY FITTINGS AND FIXTURES IN SECTOR 31 AT BRD UNDER GE (AF) MC CHANDIGARH

M&L for disconnecting of PVC tank of capacity exceeding 500 Ltrs but n.exc 1000 Ltrs for cleaning including setting aside temporarily and refixing later in same position for water supply to enable water proofing treatment of roof slab beneath the tank in following laid down process all as specified and directed :- a) Dewatering & removing all settled silt, scale & dust from inside of tanks using coconut brush manually and applying bleaching powder and allowed to rest for 1 hour. b) Cleaning & rinsing the tank using fresh water to wash out complete and allowed to dry for 30 mins. c) Writing letters of 7 cm height using synthetic enamel paint (white colour) to mention date of cleaning including rubbing out old letters written over the tank d) Refixing the tank with fittings as required in same position or raised/lower height after cleaning or water proofing treatment (as may necessary) complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Alternative arrangement for providing water supply to the qtrs shall be provided by the contractor by relocating the serviceable tank until the water proofing treatmeant shall be completed.

Complete removal of existing water proofing treatment and expose of top surface of RCC slab of any thickness, any type by stripping out old tar felt over roofs, parapets, chimney stacks etc laid horizontally or vertically including taking out layer of cement plaster etc and cleaning the surface with water and using wire brush including removing debris out side MoD land upto distance exceeding 1.5Km but n.exc 2Km and providing following :- (a) Dismantling existing cement concrete/roof tiles on roof and removal of unserviceable material out side MoD land upto distance exceeding 1.5Km but n.exc 2Km. (b) Bring upto the slope and then providing PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate of average thickness of 50mm. (c) Rendering 10mm thick in CM 1:3 on concrete roof surfaces and finish the surface even and smooth without using extra cement including mixing water proofing compound @ 2% by weight of cement. (d) Apply a coat of bituminous primer confirming to IS-3384@ 0.4 ltr/Sqm on newly plastered surface after curing as per IS-456 and dried. (e) After the primed surface has dried, apply a coat of hot blown bitumen(85/25 penetration) confirming to IS-702 @ 1.2 Kg/Sqm of the surface.

(f) Providing APP modified water proofing as approved by GE weighing not less than 3.60kg per sqm unrolled over the bituminous coated surgace with 100mm over laps, the overlap shall be sealed by flame as per manufacture instructions complete. (g) Over the APP membrane, apply evenly a tack coat of hot air blown bitumen of grade 85/25 at the rate of 1.20 kg per sqm including cleaning of surface. Note for item No 2.0 :- (i) The work shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicators of the manufacturers only as mentioned in PS. (ii) Material shall be procured from the authorised manufacturer only. (iii) A performance guarantee certificate and guarantee amount equal to 5% cost of WPT for 10 years shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE on completion of work as specified. (iv) The unit quoted rate is deemed to include taking down of water pipeline, wires (etc) found on roof and refix at the original position after complete treatment of roof.

(iv) Providing, fixing and erecting scaffolding in double face structure, as required along with approach system for the repairs / plastering of the buildings to facilitate execution of all items of works,complete with necessary support, propping system etc for external repair. The unit rate is deemed to be included this provision also. (v) The unit quoted rated deemed to included for removing plant/ up rooting of vegetation growth including roots on wall/ roof/ parapet near pipe etc. (vi) The unit quoted rate deemed to be included for necessary safety equipments such as safety belt, ropes, helmets, netting etc mandatorily to be provided to labour working at height exceeding 3 mtr.

M & L for 40 mm thick Brick tiles laid over screed bed 15mm thick cement mortar (1:6) and joints grouted flush in mixed with 5% of crude oil by weight of cement complete as specified and directed.

All as per item No.3 above but except brick tiles

M&L for cement concrete tiles 25cm x 25cm x 22mm thick, with grey cement and no pigments machine pressed set jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in roof and laid over 15mm thick cement mortar (1:6) complete as specified and directed.

All as per item No.5 above but except cement tiles

M&L for Plain cement concrete B-0 type (1:2:4) using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in copings, bed plates, benching and the like finished fair & even, including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Cutting chases, pinning in ,making good to facings where required and pointing in cement mortar 1:3 to ends or edges of landings, steps, cills , sunshades, shelves, lintel etc and making good cutting of n.exc 10 cm girth in brick walls making good complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Grubbing up tree trunk upto root girth not exc. 15 cm including cutting of trunk portion protuding over wall surface/roof surface/terrace of building height up to 10.0 mtr including necessary scaffolding with necessary safety measure if required and making good the surface in cement mortar (1:3) and applying one coat of anti growth of vegetation chemical as per manufacturer's instruction and removal of unserviceable material out side MoD land upto distance exceeding 1.5Km but n.exc 2Km and cleaning site complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in CM 1:4 on brick work, concrete, R.C.C. surfaces on mumty , parapet or similar surfaces at any height finished even and fair without using extra cement of ,up to height exceeding 6mtr but n.exc 12 mtr including taking down and removal of unserviceable material out side MoD land upto distance exceeding 1.5Km but n.exc 2Km complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair PVC (SWR) pipes 110mm dia single socketed, in any length with rubber ring joints fixed to walls , laid in trenches, floors.etc complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair for 110mm PVC (SWR) Tee & branch pieces equal and unequal complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair for 110mm PVC (SWR) bends any radius complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up or down GI/Kitek pipe15 mm dia bore with connections or fittings from wall, ceiling, floor etc., including cleaning of tubes for re-fixing complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up or down GI/Kitek pipe 20 mm dia bore with connections or fittings from wall, ceiling, floor etc., including cleaning of tubes for re-fixing complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Steel water tubes, medium grade, ISI marked, galvanised, 15mm bore with all fittings, fixed complete to walls and ceiling or laid in floors complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Steel water tubes, medium grade, ISI marked, galvanised, 20mm bore with all fittings, fixed complete to walls and ceiling or laid in floors complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair Rotational moulded polythene water storage tank of 500 Ltrs capacity (three layer white colour) cylinderical vertical with closed top including 3 Nos GI check nuts and tank nipple of 20mm bore for inlet and outlet, 20mm bore ball valves high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated aluminium rod & high density plastic ball hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR part -I complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair Ball valves high pressure PTMT ISI marked, with epoxy coated alluminium rod and high density plastic ball screwed for iron pipe of 15mm bore (minimum weight 142gm) fixed complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair Ball valves high pressure PTMT ISI marked, with epoxy coated alluminium rod and high density plastic ball screwed for iron pipe of 20mm bore (minimum weight 210gm) fixed complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs Gun-metal, globe or gate valves, with iron wheel head, 15 mm dia bore screwed both end for iron pipe , and fixed in repairs complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs Gun-metal, globe or gate valves, with iron wheel head, 20 mm dia bore screwed both end for iron pipe , and fixed in repairs complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of roofs, floors (other than ground floors), beams staircases, landing, chajjas, and similar suspended work at any height complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Framed brackets of angles or tees with web and flanges cut to shape, drilled and countersunk for screw, including bending and welding angles, as necessary, gusset plates, riveting, etc.,conforming to Fe 410-0 or Fe 310-0 at any height including dismantling old, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Pre painted Coloured Galvalume roofing system sheet 0.50 mm thick having Zinc aluminum alloy coating AZ150 shall be as per IS:277/ASTM 1379 150 gsm double ribbed trapezoidal profile steel sheet any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in Roof covering /cladding to wall fixed with self tapping screws including dismantling of existing roof sheet complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of new steel surface and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on surfaces of any description, over 10cm in width or girth, not otherwise described complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick work built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillar etc., complete including removing the waste materials outside MoD land complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Brick work with fly ash bricks straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item 30 above but with sub class 'B' old size bricks except bricks.

M&L for flush pointing on roof brick tile/PCC tile in cement mortar 1:3 including racking out joint/pointing to brick tile/PCC tiles on roof surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for two coats of cement base paint on newly plastered surface of wall including preparation of new surface complete all as specified and directed.

Note:- Amount of credit of Rs.76050.00 for retrieved materials is mentioned in Schedule of Credit of tender documents in pdf form which will be deducted offline while acceptance of tender.
