Note : All unserviceable materials obtained out of demolition/dismantling/taking down (other than those for which credit catered under Schedule of credit) shall be disposed of outside MoD Land. Quoted rates against respective item shall deemed to include for same.

Demolition of unreinforced cement concrete in any position not otherwise specifically provided for and removal all rubbish material complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete (reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition) in any position not otherwise specifically provided for and removal all rubbish material complete all as directed.

Demolition of brick work/ block masonry or stone/ boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc but excluding ashlar facing dressed stone work and precast concrete articles and removal all rubbish material complete all as specified directed.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes (salt glazed stone ware, AC or reinforced concrete) set in cement mortar including PCC bedding and haunching etc complete all as specified and directed for following sizes:-

100/150mm bore pipe

200mm bore pipe

300mm bore pipe

600mm bore pipe

Dismantling structural steel work including doors, gates but excluding framed trusses etc complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling cast iron drain pipe alongwith fittings and accessories jointed in cement mortar and taking out from walls, floors or from trenches as required including removing vegetation growth around pipes as required, making good surface to match with existing including necessary scaffolding complete all as specified and directed for following bore of pipes:-

75mm bore.

110mm bore. (Note :- The length shall be measured along the centre line including fittings and accessoires).

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster any description, on brick or stone walls, etc. including raking out joints, hacking for key & scrubbing down with water, etc. & removing rubbish off the premises, complete all as directed.

Racking out joints/pointing to random rubble or polygonal rubble uncoursed or brought up to courses built in cement or cement lime mortar complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth or n exc 10 Sqm on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth & getting out, for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, pipe lines etc. in Soft/loose soil, complete all as specified & directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and exceeding 1.5m but not exceeding 3m in depth or not exc 10sqm on plan and exc 1.5 m & n. exc 3.0m in depth & getting out,for foundation etc or for shafts wells, cesspits, manholes pier holes, sewage line etc in Soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and directed

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cms thick in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated surplus material to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M & L Hardcore of gauge n exc. 63 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc.15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specifed and directed.

M&L for Plain Cement Concrete (PCC) 1:3:6 type C-2, (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in surface channels and drains and benching including use and waste of formwork where necessary and finishing the exposed top surface of concrete even and smooth using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for precast cement concrete block masonry 1:3:6 Type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate with solid blocks, exc. 10 cm in width and setting in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cement concrete type B-1, 1:2:4 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in lintels upto 1.5m clear span, steps, seismic and other similar bands, bed plates, road side kerbs, coping/cills, bed block for embedding hold fast etc including necessary form work, weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating complete all as directed.

M & L providing precast cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in landings, cover slabs (for man holes etc.) chullah hoods, chajjas, water troughs, mangers, shelves and similar articles with plain faces joint as directed and setting in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed. (Note :- Reinforcement shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items of the BOQ.)

M & L for Reinforced cement concrete 1:1 ½ : 3 type A-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in slabs supported on walls, beams and columns in floors, roofs, landings, balconies, canopies deck slabs, and in shelves and the like complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Use and waste of flat formwork to soffits of suspended slabs such as roof slabs, floor slabs, landings and similar work not exceeding 200mm thick (Horizontal or sloping) for rough finished surfaces of concrete complete all as specified and directed.

S&F of Bands, straps, supports or stays for rainwater, ventilating pipes, including bolts, if required; hooks (stay), heavy, for large gates; hook and pintle hinges; large hasps and staples; chains; hand made sliding bolts; clamps; hold fasts; will ties; hooks for hanging fans; plain angle cleats for securing purlins to wood trusses or rafters; knee piece inserts; two way and three way straps, plate washers, made but hinges and similar small articles conforming to Fe 290-0 or Fe 310-0 complete all as per specified and directed.

S & F for framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening and fixing complete con- forming to Fe.290.Gde-E-165 complete all as directed.

S & F 1.6mm thick mild steel, plain, black sheet in wall cladding,steel gates and similar work, cut to size, holes punched; including round headed screws, clout nails or rivets and fixed to wood or steel framing with plain 40mm lap joints with riveted or welded seams, including bending or turning up, mitred angles, etc. as required complete all as speicified and directed.

S & F Plates (plain or chequered) channels. Square cut or notched (ordinary and counter sunk) forming holes, without any attachment, conforming to Fe-290 (Gde E-165) complete all as specifed and directed.

M & L for TMT bars 6mm to 8mm dia, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for screed bed or bedding layer of mortar, 15 mm thick, in cement mortar 1:6, for laying floor finishes complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 25 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-0, using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate as in levelling coarse of floors, surfaces finished even and fair complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 100mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in paths, pavings and hardstanding, laid in alternate bays, top exposed surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for chequered cement concrete tile 250mmx250mmx25mm thick with grey cement and no pigment, machine pressed as in floors, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in grey cement complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Pavement floor vitrified tiles of size 400x400x10mm thick (Endura tiles of Johnson or equivalent makes listed in List of Makes) set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry and pointed with grey cement and pigment to match the colour of tiles in floor complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 60mm thick PVC moulded precast coloured glazed interlocking paving blocks factory casted using grey cement with pigment, casted in an automatic plant working on vibration and simultaneous hydraulic compression from top, confirming to IS-15658-2006 and of shape haxagon/ triangular/ zigzag/ I-shaped etc. as directed having compressive strength not less than 350 Kg/ Sqcm laid over and including 25 to 30mm thick layer of sand cushioning including filling the interstices with & including sand and interstices on edges filled with PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as directed.

M & L for 80mm thick PVC moulded precast coloured glazed interlocking paving blocks factory casted using grey cement with pigment, casted in an automatic plant working on vibration and simultaneous hydraulic compression from top, confirming to IS-15658-2006 and of shape haxagon/ triangular/ zigzag/ I-shaped etc. as directed having compressive strength not less than 400 Kg/ Sqcm laid over and including 25 to 30mm thick layer of sand cushioning including filling the interstices with & including sand and interstices on edges filled with PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as directed.

M & L for taking out old existing precast interlocking paver blocks any thickness, size & type from the existing location including sand cushion/stone dust cushion etc, stacking properly dismantled precast interlocking paver blocks for reuse, and relaying the existing precast interlocking paving blocks over and including 25 to 30mm thick layer of sand cushioning including filling the interstices with & including sand and removal of the unserviceable rubbish to low lying areas at a distance not exceeding 250m complete all as specified and directed. [NOTE: The quoted rate shall deemed to include for sand cushion as described here-in-above]

M & L for 15mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 on fair faces of brick masonry/concrete surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for raised pointing to random or polygonal rubble masonry uncoursed or brought upto courses in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparing newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying three coats of white wash on walls complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation new or previously untreated steel surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of 1st grade quality over and including one coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition existing unserviceable salt-glazed stoneware/PVC gully traps of any size including surrounding packing and M & L for PVC(SWR) gully trap 125/110 mm, setting and jointing with solvent cement including provision of 150 mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 (40 mm graded aggregate ) all round & at bottom of trap complete all as specified and directed.

S & F reinforced concrete pipes, class NP-2, laid and jointed complete with collars and tested complete all as specified and directed for following bore pipes:-

Cutting in to existing manholes / septic tank for connecting new drains making good to 150mm/200mm bore pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 or 3/4 section) in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 smooth finished and pipe reforming benching as required complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cleaning of sewage line of any bore and description by rodding with green bamboo stick/cane stick/steel wire or any other method as directed and well flushing with water for easy flow and removal of sludge/silt, foreign materials and other deposits and disposing off the accumulated sludge/mud, foreign materials and other deposits to a distance not exceeding 50m, buried in ground to maintain hygine complete all as directed. (Note : The cleaning operation shall be carried out in suitable lengths)

M & L for cleaning and clearing of existing Manholes any size/depth by bailing out effluent, removing the silt/sludge & other deposits manually/mechanically and removing the silt/sludge & other deposits and transporting the same in covered van/trolley to a distance not exceeding 100m, excavating pit and safely buried the same in pit, top portion of pit covered with soil and excess soil spreaded evenly or removed to a distance not exceeding 50m, appllying bleaching powder to maintain hygine and writing particulars of cleaning done with synthetic enamel paint on septic tanks complete all as directed. (Notes :- (i) Volume occupied by silt/sludge & other deposits (Semi solids) shall only be measured and paid for against the item. (ii) Volume occupied by effluent (liquid above silt/sludge & other deposits) shall not be measured and paid. However quoted rates shall be deemed to be includde for bailing out of effluent.)

M & L for cleaning and clearing of existing septic tanks any size/depth by bailing out effluent, removing the silt/sludge & other deposits manually/mechanically and removing the silt/sludge & other deposits and transporting the same in covered van/trolley to a distance not exceeding 100m, excavating pit and safely buried the same in pit, top portion of pit covered with soil and excess soil spreaded evenly or removed to a distance not exceeding 50m, appllying bleaching powder to maintain hygine and writing particulars of cleaning done with synthetic enamel paint on septic tanks complete all as directed.
