Work Specific Notes :- 1. Contractor has to make his own arrangements for Water and Electricity. 2.1. Duration of work:- For Part-‘A’:- 03 (Three) months including one month of regular maintenance by the contractor and subsequently, For Part-‘B’:- Maintenance for 24 months – on successful completion of Part-‘A’. 3.Tender to be finalised based on the quotation of Part-'A' & Part-'B' together. 4.In contract, Part-'A' & Part-'B' shall be treated separately. 5.PG to Return on Completion of Part-'A'. However Security deposit to be returned after completion of Part-'B'.

Part-A: Development work:

Excavation in soil up to 90 cm, levelling and dressing of the area by mechnical means including removal of all the wild vegetation, roots, branches dry leaves, boulder, stone pieces, concrete, debris etc. including levelling, consolidating with power roller and disposing of surplus earth in side colony etc. all complete as per specifications and directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: The work has to be carried out carefully without damaging existing trees and any other services passing through/ below the area.

Supply of garden soil free from stones, pebbles, grass , weeds etc. at site as per specification and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: The measurements will be taken as per truck body diamensions filled with red soil without any deduction for voids.

Supply of well decomposed, dry farm yard manure free from soil & undecomposed grass etc. at site as per specifications & directed by the Engineer-in -charge. Note: The measurements will be as per truck body dimensions without any deduction for voids.

Shrub Plantation Providing and planting high density plantation with mixture of shrub saplings (1-3 feet high) including digging of pit (0.40mx0.40mx0.40m), refilling of pit with well mixed mixture of approved quantity of garden soil and farm yard manure in 2:1 proportion (excluding cost of garden soil and manure) consolidation, watering. planting of well grown, healthy shrub sapling free from any disease etc. ,profuse watering,supporting the plants with bamboo sticks (without any extra charge) of suitable length, complete all as directed by the Engineer - in-charge. Note: 1.Cost includes maintaining planted saplings for a period of 01 month after plantation under Part-A by watering, weeding, hoeing, insect-pest control etc. 2.Casuality of planted sapling, if any, shall be replaced by the contractor at no extra cost to the department. 3.. Penalty recovery for casualities shall be made @ double the cost of quoted rate if not replaced within 01 month period.

TREE PLANTATION Providing High density plantation with tree saplings (3-4 feet height) including digging of pit (size0.75mx0.75mx0.75m) refilling of pit with approved quality garden soil and farm yard manure in 2:1 ratio/proportion (excluding cost of red garden soil & manure) consolidation of the pits by watering , planting the tree sapling, profuse watering after planting saplings, supporting the plants with the help of bamoo sticks including supply of sticks of suitable lengthall complete as directed by the Engineer - in-charge. Note: 1.) Cost includes maintaining planted saplings for a period of 01 month after completion of Part-A by watering, weeding, hoeing, insect-pest control etc. 2). Casuality of planted sapling, if any, shall be replaced by the contractor at no extra cost to the department. 3. Penalty recovery for casualities shall be made @ double the cost of quoted rate if not replaced immediately.

Providing & drenching of liquid fertilizer of approved brand for planting saplings, including cost of material, labours & transportation etc all complete as per specifications and directed by the Engineer-in -charge.

Providing & covering of all planted area used by paddy straw as a mulching for control of water evoporation & weeds,including cost of material, labours & transportation etc. all complete as per specifications and directed by the Engineer-in -charge.

Providing, Laying, jointing, fixing and testing for exposed plumbing lines (No Concealed) Heavy quality (C-Class) Galvanised Iron pipes and ISI marked fittings like, tees, elbows, bends, unions, nipples,reducers etc. as required for the work, including testing the pipes and fittings for 10.00 Kg per Sq.Cm hydralic pressure with a minimum period of two hours duration with clean water, including cutting , threading, jointing with hemp yarn, white lead, jointing Teflon tape, Fixing in walls / trenches using clamps etc. including 2 coats of Synthetic enamal paint of approved colour over a coat of primer etc. all complete as per specifications , drawings and directed by the Engineer in charge.

Providing & fixing in position heavy pattern 20 mm screw down gun metal Gate Valve with handles and wheels conforming to IS:778 including testing for 10Kg/cm2 pressure with clean and potable water with a minimum testing duration of two hours etc.as per specification.

Part-B: Maintenance works

Maintenance of saplings with adequate watering, weeding out the basin area and intermittent area of plants, trimming, top dressing with liquid organic fertilizer, hoeing of soil for aeration and keeping all the area clean condition as per the direction of officer In charge. All the garbage, out grass and weeds uprooted to be thrown out of complete as per direction. Note: The maintenance period under Part-B shall commence after one month of included maintenance liability of plants under Part-A (Development work) as certified by Engineer-in-charge.
