M&L for servicing of DG sets of any make, situated at site including replacement of fuel filters, oil filters, air filters, air filter element, changing lubricating oil, cleaning of fuel lines, checking leakage if any, repair the leakage, replacement of exhaust main fold gasket etc complete all as specified and directed for following capacity of DG sets, complete all as specified & as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

15 KVA to 40 KVA

62.5 KVA to 100 KVA

Repair of DG SET of 15 KVA to 40 KVA:- Disconnect the electrical connection of DG sets situated at site, opening of the engine head cover, remove the cylinder head, Supply and fix in replacement of piston, piston rings, replacement of fuel injector, general overhauling of Engine by removal of carbon accumulation from cylinder inner layer and piston, replacement of oil and water seal etc complete all as directed. Make: Kirloskar/Cummins (Notes:- (i)Tenderer's quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of disconnecting /dismantling /opening of DG Set, overhauling and repair/ replacement of items described above etc., as directed. (ii)The other repairs / replacement works ,as described below, which are essential for proper functioning of DG set, shall be measured and paid separately vide item No.2.01 to 2.14 here in below and the cost of these items of repair works shall not be included in the unit rate quoted for item No.2.00.

Repair to the crank shaft by brazing the top portion to make to adjust to the engine RPM complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed.

Repair to Engine camshaft by brazing/ chiselling to make adjust with the Engine RPM complete complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed.

Calibration of fuel line / fuel pump and fuel injector from authorised service centre for matching the RPM of DG set and output voltage complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed..

Supply and fix in repair high pressure fuel line with end coupler complete from FIP to injector with new high pressure line fixed properly (without any leakage) to the engine complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed.

Supply and fix in repair Alternator Assembly for battery charging of 24 Volts complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed. Make: Lucas or equivalent as approved by GE.

Supply and fix in repair radiator fan belt of suitable size complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed..

M& L for cleaning and descaling of radiator assembly by using suitable chemical and blower fan ,injecting water with high pressure in water tubings so as to remove all dirts in the fins, taking down the copper bottom portion of tank for welding / brazing and refit the same after replacing the unserviceable and damaged fins tank cap rubber bush and refix the same at the engine of DG sets complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed..

Opening of the DG set alternator and taking out the worn out parts ,lifting, loading and transportation of DG set/Alternator to the work shop for rewinding/lathe work and taking back to MES store yard /installation after repair work, re-assembling of DG sets including testing complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed. Note:- Worn out parts which are to be replaced shall be measured under Ser item No.2.09 to 2.14 here in below.

Supply and fix in repair rectifier /Diode plate all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed.

S & F in repair internal wiring with suitable gauge of copper wire all as specified and as directed.

Cleaning of rotor slots all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed..

S&F in repair carbon brush set all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed..

S&F in repair slip rings all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed..

S&F in repair copper terminal heavy duty for battery (length 1.5m) connection with suitable size of copper lugs on one side, brass lead on other end all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed..

Repair to DG SET 62.5 KVA to 100 KVA:- Disconnect the electrical connection of DG sets ,situated at site ,opening of the engine head cover, remove the cylinder head , Supply and fix in replacement of piston , piston rings and replacement of fuel injector, complete overhauling of Engine by removal of carbon accumulation from cylinder inner layer and piston , replacement of oil and water seal etc all as directed by Engg-in-charge. Make: Kirloskar/Cummins (Notes:- (i)Tenderer's quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of disconnecting /dismantling /opening of DG Set, overhauling and repair/ replacement of items described above etc., as directed. (ii)The other repair / replacement works as described below which are essential for proper functioning of DG set shall be measured and paid separately vide item No.3.01 to 3.16 here in below and the cost of these items of repair works shall not be included in the unit rate quoted for item No.3.00

Calibration of fuel line/ fuel pump and fuel injector from authorised service centre for matching the RPM of DG set and output voltage complete all as per manufactures instruction and as directed.

Remove and refix radiator assembly by brazing / welding if any leakage complete of suitable dimension with cleaning of copper fins by high pressure jet of air / water including connecting ,testing complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed..

S&F in repair anti vibration pad Make : Dunlop or equivalent as approved by GE complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair bottom chamber with nuts and bolts all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair fuel flexible pipe of suitable length and size as per existing complete all specified and as directed.

S&F in repair water hose pipe of suitable size and length complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair fuel filter Assembly complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed.

Opening of the DG set alternator and taking out the worn out parts, lifting, loading and transportation of DG set/ Alternator to the work shop for rewinding/lathe work and taking back to MES store yard/ installation after repair work, re-assembling of DG sets including testing complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed.

S&F in repair carbon bushes complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed.

Cleaning the rotor slots complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed.

Disconnect the self starter from the engine ,loading and shifting motor to work shop for repair to starter by change of carbon bushes , solinoid switch and change of slip rings etc. taking back to MES store and connect to engine including ,commissioning and testing complete all as directed.

S&F in repair ignition switch assembly complete with nuts and bolts on DG set including all electrical connection by using suitable gauge of copper wire and testing complete all as specified and directed.

S & F In repair rubber coupling, bush with rubber ring nuts and bolts of plate type or round in shape as per sample complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair copper terminal heavy duty for battery (length 1.5m ) connection with suitable size of copper lugs on one side and brass lead at other end all as directed.

S&F in repair AVR of Suitable capacity applicable for 40 to 100KVA DG Set all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair asbestos rope on exhaust pipe of DG sets of any capacity complete as per existing and as directed

Dismantling the exhaust pipe of DG sets at site, carry out necessary repair by necessary welding works and refix the exhaust pipe at the same location all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Note: The rate quoted by the contractor shall be deemed to be include any additional cabling work/ interconnection of AMF panel to DG set/ DG set to existing panel if required all as directed).

Supply and fill coolant of standard specification for top up in radiator of Diesel Engine of any size all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting to the entire body of DG sets including canopy enclosure by scrapping out (and flames if necessary) the old paints , denting, spray painting to the entire body of DG set with minimum two coats of synthetic enamel paint to achieve bright finish of military green colour over a coat of primer and writing of MES/SM No of DG set all as directed. of the following capacity of DG sets:-

Above 30 up to 63 KVA

Opening of the AMF panel by unscrewing screws, nuts bolts etc after removing all connection to DG sets and LT panel and reassemble the AMF panel after repair / replacement of worn out parts including fixing only the serviceable parts/ new parts complete including all connection, commissioning and testing complete all as specified and directed. Note:-Supply only requisite spare parts shall be measured and paid separately vide item No.10.00 here in under.

Supply in replacement only the following spare parts of AMF panel as per existing capacity and make:-

Control relay

OD DC timer

Line voltage monitor

Announciator

EF relay

Power contactor ,heavy duty ,4 pole of any capacity.

Current Transformer

Repairs to broken disconnected door of DG Set by welding with new hinges, of suitable sizes , supply and fix new door locks as per existing complete all as directed for smooth opening and closing of door .

Repairs to trolley of DG sets by welding of broken parts , repairs to the damaged tyres, replacement of bearings as per existing make complete all as directed .

Lifting, loading and transportation of lead acid battery to work shop and repair to lead acid battery of 12 volt of 90/130/180 AH by filling up of distilled water, change of worn out cells, changing of unserviceable electrode/ electrolyte and changing of unserviceable terminal and taking back to MES store yard refixing for its original position etc complete all directed .

M&L for rewinding of main stator (Field) with suitable gauge of super enamelled copper wire duly varnished, insulated all as specified and directed. as following capacities:

(a) 15 KVA up to 40 KVA

(b) Above 62.5 KVA up to 100KVA

Removing of main rotor from stator assembly by dismantling alternator from engine after disconnection of electric connection and rewinding of main rotor with suitable gauge of super enamelled copper wire with 'F' class insulation complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed.

(a) 15 KVA up to 40 KVA

(b) Above 62.5 KVA up to 100KVA

Supply only distilled water in packed PVC container for lead acid battery complete all as directed.

M&L for carrying out physical inspection and measurement of individual earth pit resistance of each earth pit, every month located in area and maintain the record of its reading month wise and submit this office timely. For measuring the resistance of individual electrode of LV distribution system and other non-DG/ Transformer by fall of poterntial test in case fall of potential method is not possible at certain locations then measurememnt of earth pit resistance shall be carried out in stake less method using current and voltage clamps. Total 525 Nos earth pit appx located in different area of this station shall be measured in each month or all as directed. pit for measurement of pit resistance including necessary excavation in any type of soil, or braking of hardstanding for inserting of spikes complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. The rate also include to inspect and measure resistance of any type of earth ( like conventional or chemical, strip or wire any size) complete all as directed by Engr-In-Charge.

Supply and laying in trenches/ floor/hard standing, fixing on wall / roofs/ celing of any builkding/ structure GI Pipe 25 mm bore light grade including all necessary fittings for the protection of GI earth Strip and mounting of air termination rod complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in repair Aluminium strip of size 25 X 3 mm as earth continuity conductor for roof and down conductors fixed/run on wall/celing/roof of any type of bulilding/hanger /structure with proper clamping or saddling duly supported on porcelain/polycarbonate/wooden block with suitable fixing arrangement of nuts & bolts or passes through wall by making hole or any other indicated situation complete all as directed according site condition by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE: i) The quoted rate does not include the rate for porecelene/ polycarbonate/wooden insulator, the same may be measured and paid seperately under the relevant items of this schedule.

Supply and fix in repair Copper strip of size 20 X 3 mm as earth continuity conductor for roof and down conductors fixed/run on wall/celing/roof of any type of bulilding/hanger /structure with proper clamping or saddling duly supported on porcelain/polycarbonate/wooden block with suitable fixing arrangement of nuts & bolts or passes through wall by making hole or any other indicated situation complete all as directed according site condition by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE: i) The quoted rate does not include the rate for porcelain/ polycarbonate/wooden insulator, the same may be measured and paid seperately under the relevant items of this schedule.

M&L for refixing of dislocated/ uprooted GI/Copper Strip along with insulator from wall/ celing/ roof or any other location as directed from any building/ panel/ hanger/ any type of structure any size and shape. Refixing should be done in proper dressing and alignement on existing insulator or replaced with new one if broken/ unserviceable complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE: i) The quoted rate is deemed to be include the rate of necessary nuts & bolts used to refix the strip on insulator or the clamps along with nuts & bolts required to fix the GI pipe in vertical postion on wall / ceiling/ floor etc complete. ii) Porcelain/polycarbonate Insulator will be measured and paid seperately under relevant items of this schedule.

M&L for insulator porcelain/polycarbonate/wooden block with suitable fixing arrangement by means of nuts & bolts for roof earth continiuty conductor and down conductor duly insulated from wall surface/roof of any type bldg/ hanger/ structure all as directed by Engineer- in- Charge.

Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode of size 60cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground ( earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level connected to galvanized iron strip 25 x 4 mm by means of of galvanized iron nuts & bolts or as directed at site by Engineer -in-Charge protected by GI Pipe 40 mm dia light grade and connected to test point and further connected to equipment, mcachinery, electrical panel or any other as directed by Engineer-in-Charge, which to be earthed, all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part I including providion of concrete earth pit constructed in PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 as earth pit and PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 for cover slab with necessary reinforcement with handle for lifting also including provision of funnel with wiremesh with 20 mm GI pipe medium grade for watering, charcoal and salt in alternative layers of 15 cm thick all around the electrode , including necessary excavation and earth work , testing and commissioning complete all as directed at site.

All as per item No.23 above but by using with copper earth plate electrode of size 60cm x 60 cm x 3.0 mm thick and copper strip 20 x 3 mm as earth continuity conductor complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for carrying out measurement of soil resistivity at site by wenner method as detailed in IEEE81 standard in any type of soil including breaking of concrete if necessary to drive the spike for testing the earth pit resistance complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
