Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as retaining walls breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets etcetera in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary rock, hard rock, chiseling/ wedging out of rocks (where blasting in prohibited ) as per drawing and M.O.R.D technical specification clause 305 and as per direction of the Engineer-in- Charge including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto all leads and lift, including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm(one hundred fifty millimetre) compacted thickness including shoring and strutting and pumping and bailing out water ( surface and sub soil water) upto all depth and any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering as per the direction of the Engineer-in- Charge including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals . The rates are inclusive octroi , royality , Malkana, toll tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Excavation in soil in hilly area in all heights and depths and in all kind of soil by manual/ mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rock, hard rocks chiseling wedging out of rock(where blasting is prohibited )and their intermediate classification of soil setting out true to the required line , grades width cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown on the drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in- Charge at site according to the M.O.R.D technical specification 2014 clause 302,1602 and 1603 and sorting out useful material and stacking the same in all leads and lifts on acquired width of the road and transportation for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus material to approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load or animal transport or mechanical means along with its levelling fine dressing and other necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and/ or labour if required . Any loss to the public / private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases as per direction of the Engineer-in- Charge including entire carriage of material with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals .The rates are including labour cess, GST , other levies /taxes/ duties / royality cess , toll taxes of local bodies and authorities that the contractor will have to pay for the performance of this contract . A recovery of useful stone for 187.20 cum ( One hundred Eighty seven point twenty ) cubic metre @Rs 300/-(Rupees three hundred ) per cubic metre shall be done on pro-rata basis in each running bill form this item.

Providing weep holes in brick masonry / stone masonry /plain and reinforced concrete abutment , wing wall ,return wall ,retaining and breast wall with 110mm (one hundred ten millimetre) dia PVC pipe (D-plast)/ Finolex/ Supreme having working pressure not less than 4 kg per centimeter square (Four Kilogram per centimeter square ) extending through the full width of the structures with slope of 1(V):20(H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification clause 614, 709, 1204.3.7 as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals . Construction of RCC railing with mechanically mixed and vibrated cement concrete of mix design to obtain minimum compressive strength of grade M-25 (M-twenty five) in cast -in-situ (with graded crushed stone aggregate 20 mm(twenty millimeter nominal size) including the cost of reinforcement true to line and grade, tolerance of vertical RCC post not to exceed 1 in 500,(one in five hundred ) centre to centre spacing between vertical post not to exceed 2000mm (two thousand millimetre) leaving adequate space between vertical post for expansion complete as per approved drawings and technical specifications , . including carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals . Providing laying spreading and compacting stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mixer (Pug Mill) carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers in sub-base/ base course on a well prepared sub-base and compacting with smooth wheel roller of 80 to 100(eighty to one hundred) KN weight to achieve the desired density including lighting barricading and maintenance of diversion, etcetera as per table 400.11 and 400.12and technical specification MORD 2014 clause 406 by mechanical means including entire carriage of material in all leads , lifts. and other incidentals . Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.275 kg(zero point two seven five kilogram ) per square metre on the prepared granular surface treated with primer and cleaned with hydraulic broom as per MORD Technical Specification Clause 503 including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying of hot applied Thermoplastic compound 2.5mm (two point five millimeter) thick including reflectorising glass beads @250gms(two hundred fifty grams) per sqm area, thickness of 2.5mm (two point five millimeter) is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC-35 . The finished surface to be level uniform and free from steaks and holes as per MORTH specifications 2013 clause 803 including carriage of materials within all leads,lifts and other incidentals . Routine maintenance for five years after
