Earth work in excavation in foundations, trenches, etc. in all kinds of soils, not exceeding 2 metres depth including dressing of bottom and sides of trenches, stacking the excavated soil, clear from the edge of excavation and subsequent filling around masonry, in 15 cm layers with compaction, including disposal of all surplus soil, as directed within a lead of 30 metres.(HSR 6.6)

Dismantling brick work, tile masonry or tile lining and tile terracing .(d) in mud. [HSR 8.5(d)]

Cement concrete 1:4:8 with brick ballast 40mm nominal size in foundation and plinth (HSR 10.36)

First class brick work laid in cement sand mortar 1 : 4 in foundation and plinth (HSR 11.4)

First class brick work laid in cement sand mortar 1:4 in first storey upto 4 metres above plinth level ( HSR 11.9)

Tile terracing with one layer of tiles, 22.86 cm x 11.43 cm x 3.81cm laid dry over a layer of mud mortar including grouting with cement sand mortar 1:3 and top surface to be left clean (HSR 13.14).

Providing & fixing 1st quality ceramic glazed wall tiles confirming to I.S. 15622 (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) of approved make in all colors, shades except burgundy, bottle green, black of any size as approved by Engineer-In-Charge in skirting, risers of steps and dados over 12mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 coarse and jointed with grey cement slurry, including pointing in white cement mixed with pigment of matching shades complete. (HSR 14.92) (b) Size of ceramic Glazed tiles 300 x 450 mm

12 mm thick cement plaster 1 : 4 on walls ( HSR 15.5 )

15mm thick cement plaster 1:4 on the rough side of single or half brick wall. (HSR 15.10)

Preparation of plastered or concrete surfaces for painting, including sand papering the surface, applying one coat of linseed oil and filling with approved quality filler, consisting of white lead, linseed, varnish and chalk mitti including finishing surface to the required finish, complete. (Note:- First quality paint of reputed make firm such as Goodlass-Nerolac, Berger, Garware, Jenson, Nicholson, Asian & Shalimar Shalimar Shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge in writing, Drum of paint shall be opened in presence of Engineer-in-charge). Finishing walls with exterior decorative cement based paints such as snowcem, Robbiacem etc. on new work, two coats to give an even shade. (Note:- First quality paint of reputed make firm such as Goodlass-Nerolac, Berger, Garware, Jenson, Nicholson, Asian & Shalimar Shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge in writing, Drum of paint shall be opened in presence of Engineer-in-charge). (HSR 16.61)

Providing two coats of exterior acrylic emulsion paint. (Note:- First quality paint of reputed make firm such as Goodlass-Nerolac, Berger, Garware, Jenson, Nicholson, Asian & Shalimar Shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge in writing, Drum of paint shall be opened in presence of Engineer-in-charge). [HSR 16.79 (b)].

Providing and applying two coats white cement based putty over plastered surface and grindling the surface smooth with sand paper to get an even and smooth finish including cost and carriage of all material, labour charges, scaffolding, sundries etc. complete. (Note:- reputed make Putty such as J.K./ Birla shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge). (HSR 16.81).

PROVIDING AND FIXING IN POSITION BEST INDIAN MAKE (to the approval of the Engineer-in-charge) EUROPEAN TYPE WATER CLOSET SUIT WITH NONCONCEALED ‘P’ OR ‘S’ TRAP with or without vent and all other necessary fittings as fully described in item no.30.3 above. (HSR 30.4 (i) white)

Providing and fixing in position best Indian make bevelled edge 5.5mm thick mirror mounted on asbestos sheet ground fixed in position by means of 4 Nos. chromium plated brass screws and washers over rubber washers and rawl plug embeded in the wall or chromium plated brass clamps with C.P brass screws (as required by the Engineer-in-charge) complete including cutting and making good the walls etc. [HSR 30.71] a) Indian make (i) 600 x 450mm

Providing and fixing in position 15mm i/d C.P.brass & bib cocks of best quality (as required by the Engineer-in-charge). [HSR 30.75] a) bib cock long body

Providing and fixing HDPE water storage tanks of Sintex, Diplast, O.K., Supreme make with covers / lids marked with IS: 12701 on roof top of buildings including cost of hoisting and placing in position, making connections with inlet and outlet pipes, providing overflow and scour provisions with sutiable plug on scour pipe including cost of nipples, washers, flanges for connections in tanks complete in all respects to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. (except civil work). (HSR 30.119) 1000 Ltr. capacity.

Recovery items:- The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Dismantiling of bricks and Removing of Door and windos in the DNIT. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material after approval from employer. This material will be issued at the price quoted by the agency. However the reserve price is as under:- i) Good Tiles @ 5.20/- Each

ii) Brick Bats @ 450/- cum Note:- All quantities of the above materials have been worked out on the basis of theoretical quantities laid on this building. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieved material. There shall be no measurement after actual dismantling and if material after dismantling is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rate by the agency. No rates below the reserve price will be entertained and reserve price will be considered for all purposes in case the agency quotes lesser than reserve price.
