MANNING AND OPERATION AND COMPREHENSIVE MAINT OF WATER SUPPLY INSTALLATIONS AND ALLIED WORKS AT ARMY LAND CAMPBELL BAY UNDER GE (I) CAMPBELL BAY

Daily Maintenance, Manning & Operation of Water Supply Installation at Army Land comprising with pumping sets and operation of electric panels, sluice valve and electric panels for pumping and supply of potable water during supply hrs with ONE OPERATOR Skilled (FGM) daily in TWO SHIFTS PER DAY (Morning, Evening ) (8 Hour Per Shift) including Sundays and Holidays, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Manning & Operation Daily Maintenance, of RO Plant at Army Land comprising with pumping sets and operation of electric panels, valve and electric panels for pumping and supply of potable water during supply hrs with ONE OPERATOR Skilled (FGM) daily in TWO SHIFTS PER DAY (Morning, Evening ) (8 Hour Per Shift) including Sundays and Holidays, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply only the following materials required for day to day maintenance of water supply installations : -(a) Bleaching Powder in per kg bags for disinfection of water

(b) Ferric alum in 10 kg Blocks for sedimentation of water.Note:- The above item no 3&4 will be operated through the labours deployed under item 1

Servicing / over hauling of 3 Phase 415 Volts 1440 RPM upto 20/7.5/5 HP capacity induction motor installed at Pump houses in Army Land along with following others repairs a). Taking out Pump from its Position by decoupling from Motor and disconnecting all suction /delivery water connections , setting aside Pump from base plate , b).Dismantaling of Pump complete part by part carefully , degreasing bearing and display all the parts without damaging any portion for inspection of Engineer-in- Charge to ascertain the serviceability of existing parts. c). Replacement of Gasket set and gland packing rope . d). Reassembeling the Pump complete with all existing serviceable parts obtained against Item 31, greasing the bearing with bearing grease , and new parts as ordered by Engineer in Charge.( New parts shall be measured and paid separately under appropraite Item here-in-after) e) Reinstall the Pump at its existing Position , couple with the Motor and connecting all suction delivery water connections and testing on completion

Servicing / over hauling of Electric driven Vertical / Horizontal split casing Pump sets Installed at Army Land Pump House coupled with upto 20/7.5/5 HP Motor along with following others repairs. a). Taking out Pump from its Position by decoupling from Motor and disconnecting all suction /delivery water connections , setting aside Pump from base plate , b).Dismantaling of Pump complete part by part carefully , degreasing bearing and display all the parts without damaging any portion for inspection of Engineer-in- Charge to ascertain the serviceability of existing parts. c). Replacement of Gasket set and gland packing rope . d). Reassembeling the Pump complete with all existing serviceable parts obtained against Item 31, greasing the bearing with bearing grease , and new parts as ordered by Engineer in Charge.( New parts shall be measured and paid separately under appropraite Item here-in-after) e) Reinstall the Pump at its existing Position , couple with the Motor and connecting all suction delivery water connections and testing on completion Note:- For Item No 5&6 (i). Any Parts required for replacement shall be measured and paid seperately under appropriate item as ''Supply only'' (s) of this schedule. However labour element involved in replacement is included in unit rate quoted against this Item. (ii). Any unforeseen minor repair and minor parts that are not covered under Item No-2, (a) to (e) but required to complete the repair work / smooth functioning of Motor / Pump shall be deemed to be included with the unit rate .Transportation of Stator / Rotor parts for machining & rewinding, shaft impeller bushing for machining , welding , turning at lathe shop at Port Blair are also deemed to be included with unit rate. iii). Rewinding of stator / rotor of motor, any machine work where involved shall be measured and paid separetely against relevant item of this schedule.

Supply only the following Items of Pump set & Motor to incorporate against each Item No-5 & 6 Schedule here-in-above(a) Gun metal Impeller for 20 HP

(b) Gun metal Impeller for 7.5 HP

(c) Gun metal Impeller for 5 HP

(d) MS Coupling for 20/7.5 HP

(e) DE ( Driver End ) bearing as per existing size Make- SKF, NBC

(f) NDE ( Non Driver End ) as per existing size Make- SKF, NBC

(g) Bakelite Terminal connection plate with brass nuts bolts and washers

(h) Plastic Rotar Fan

(i) GI Flange 100 mm bore

(j) GI Flange 80 mm bore

(k) Pump Shaft suitable for existing pump sets

(m) Rewinding burnt coils of Induction Motor stator cap 20 HP obtained from Item Ser No-5 here-in-above with super enameled copper winding wire as per existing size and gauge to achieve the required /specified RPM along with including taking out old unserviceable winding ,cleaning/ repairing damaged slots , complete as directed

(n) Rewinding burnt coils of Induction Motor stator cap 7.5 HP obtained from Item Ser No-5 here-in-above with super enameled copper winding wire as per existing size and gauge to achieve the required /specified RPM including taking out old unserviceable winding ,cleaning/ repairing damaged slots , complete as directed

(o) Rewinding burnt coils of Induction Motor stator cap 5 HP obtained from Item Ser No-5 here in before with super enameled copper winding wire as per existing size and gauge to achieve the required /specified RPM including taking out old unserviceable winding ,cleaning/ repairing damaged slots , complete as directed

(p) MS Channel base frame for 20/7.5 HP Pump set

(q) MS Channel base frame for 5 HP Pump set

Supply & Fix the following items under repairs complete all as specified & directed. (a)DOL starter for 5 HP

(b)Sluice valve,PN 1.6, 100 mm size

(c)Sluice valve,PN 1.6, 80 mm size

(d) Leather gasket for Flange 100 mm bore

(e) Leather gasket for Flange 80 mm bore

(f)Single phase preventer for 20/7.5 HP Pump set

(g) PCC Foundation for 20/7.5 HP Pump set

(h) PCC Foundation for 5 HP Pump set

Scraping old paint of Electric induction Motor upto 20/15 HP Motor , NC Vertical/ Horizontal / Multi staging Pump , Suction , delivery Pipes, sluice valves , NRV Valves at Army Land (Approx coverage area-8-10 Sqm) and Painting with one coats of red oxide paint and two coat of synthetic enamel paint of shade as directed by Engnr-in-Charge including writing Sm No. complete as all specified and as directed
