TERM CONTRACTS FOR ARTIFICIER WORKS FOR OTM ACCN UNDER AOR OF AGE B/R-V OF GE (N) BATHINDA AT BATHINDA MIL STN

To perform under term contract such services and execute such works on the terms and conditions contained or referred in the "MES Standard Schedule of Rates 2009 (Part-I) Specification and MES Standard Schedule of Rates 2020 (Part-II) (Revised) Rates" together with errata / amendments No. 1 to 122 and upon the conditions contained in tender documents as may be demanded and as are enumerated in the aforesaid MES Standard Schedule of Rates during the period of 330 (Three Hundred and Thirty) days from the date of acceptance at the rates contained in the aforesaid MES Standard Schedule of Rates-2020 (Part-II) rates and SCHEDULE OF SUPPLEMENTRY RATES attached at srl page No 13 to 17 of tender documents. AND At such other rates as may be fixed under the provision of condition 62 and further agree to refer all disputes as required vide condition-70 of IAFW-2249 (General Conditions of Contracts - 1989 print with errata/amendments as applicable) to the 'Sole Arbitrator', a serving officer having degree in Engineering or equivalent or having passed final/direct final Examination of Sub Division II of Institute of Surveyors (India) recognized by the Govt. of India to be appointed by the Chief Engineer, Bathinda Zone, Bathinda Mil Stn or in his absence the officer officiating as Chief Engineer, Bathinda Zone Bathinda Mil Stn whose decision shall be final, conclusive and binding. NOTES :-

The bidder have to select the option "Excess (+)" OR "Less (-)" available at the cell address E24 of the BOQ to quote the percentage above or below MES Standard Schedule of Rates 2020 (Revised) respectively.

The bidder have to insert the amount at the cell address F24 of the BOQ to quote the percentage above or below MES Standard Schedule of Rates 2020 (Revised).

If '0 (Zero)' percentage is offered the tender shall be reckoned as net at par with SSR.

If 'NO' percentage is offered the tender shall be considered as Blank.

Amount inserted by the MES under rate column and the total amount reflected in this page is a rough guidance and for reference only. Similarly the quoted amount worked out based on percentage rate quoted by the Bidder shall also be treated as rough and for reference only. The acceptance of contract offer shall be done for quoted percentage rate on MES SSR 2020 (Revised). The work order for various works / services shall be placed for amount worked out/price on the rates contained in MES SSR 2020 Part-II (Revised) duly adjusted by percentage rate quoted by Bidder. This estimated amount shall be inclusive of (+)/(-) percentage quoted by Contractor.

Total estimate of any single work, job or services as defined in condition 4A of IAFW-2249 shall not exceed Rs 1,50,000.00

Contractor's special attention is invited to condition 4 (A) WORKS TO BE CARRIED OUT (APPLICABLE ONLY TO TERM CONTRACTS) and condition 56 TERMINATION OF CONTRACTS (APPLICABLE ONLY TO TERM CONTRACTS) of IAFW-2249 (General Conditions of Contracts) are strictly to be followed.

It is an express condition of this contract that the amount to total works/services required to be done under this contract can vary to any extent irrespective of the amount worked out /mentioned in this BOQ sheet and contractor shall be bound to execute such works / services at the rate contained in MES SSR 2020 Part-II (Revised) duly adjusted by quoted percentage rate during contract period. No claim of the contractor shall be entertained due to increase or decrease in quantum of work required to be done/work done.
