COMPREHENSIVE MAINT AND OTHER ALLIED WORKS OF DG SETS AT CME UNDER GE (CME) KHADKI

M/L for Maintenance, servicing and attending faults on call basis of standby DG Set complete including draining out engine oil from the sump, cleaning the sump thoroughly and refilling the sump with new engine oil to it’s required level, replacing the fuel filter, lubricating oil filter , clean air cleaner , change air cleaner elements, and check coolant level & make up the same ,drain the fuel filter & water separator ,filling the starting batteries with electrolyte/distilled water to maintain the required specific gravity, replace the u/s brass connectors for batteries, cleaning of battery terminals & applying petroleum jelly to battery terminal posts & brass connectors, including M & L for V Belts, checking of exhaust leakage, governor, breathers,hose pipes with clips, diesel pipes,thermostat valve,solonoid switch,tappet setting,oil filter element,air filter,bypass filter etc and adjust/set the same for proper functioning of DG Set, checking of fuel, oil and water/ coolant level etc, adjusting and keeping the fan belts to the desired tension, tightening all the bolts and nuts to the required torque etc, cleaning the DG Set with accessories

ITEM NO. 1.00 CONTD... as prescribed by the manufacturer and test for satisfactory running of DG set for two hour at connected load and record shall be made in respect of RPM , oil pressure , oil temperature , coolant temperature, voltage , frequency , load current , battery charging , fuel consumption etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge for 12.5/15/20/25 KVA DG SET Note :- (a). Engine oil for refilling will be paid separetely. (b). Coolant for make up will be measured & paid separately (c). Testing will be carried out in presence of Engineer - in - charge. (d). The Make of Fuel filter , Oil Filter , V belt & other above mentioned components will be as per manufactures recommendations ( rate of fuel filter, oil filter, air filter (primary and secondary),V belt and other mentioned items are inclusive in quoted rate.) (e) Checking of all electricial systems, wiring , connections of battery, battery charging,etc during servicing. (f) Parts replaced will be contractor's responsibility during the one year CA period and also no claim whatsoever will be entertained for payment if any part is replaced again during the CA period. (g) Attending to faults on call basis will not be considered as servicing. Also, parts replaced as part of servicing BOQ item is inclusive in rate despite changing it after servicing, hence contractor should quote the rates accordingly.

Supply only engine oil, multi grade 20w / 40.Make :- Indian oil / Hindustan petroleum / Castrol / BPCL.

M & L for removing and replacing the unserviceable 12 V/24 V stop solenoid switch suitable for DG set for DG Set of capacity 12.5 to 50 KVA
