Name of Work: M/o various colonies under South Zone. Sub Head: Deployment of Private Security Guards for watch and ward in DDA Community halls, offices and other DDA buildings etc. under jurisdiction of South Zone (Specialized work).

Contract No: 34/EE/SMD-IV/DDA/2024-25 (Specialized) Notes: 1 Security Guards on duty shall be in proper uniform with cap, name, badge, bamboo sticks, torch etc. 2 If any standing security guard is not deployed by the agency or found absent from the duty site then recovery @ twice the quoted rate as per security guards per shift shall be recovered from the contractor's bill on this account. Furthermore, if any loss is suffered by the department due to the same, the equivalent amount of the loss may be recovered from the agency, if Engineer-in-Charge is of the view that necessary precautions have not been followed by the agency. 3 All the wages shall be paid to all Security Guards by the agency as per agreement conditions through bank or NEFT/ECS or online transfer and the proof of the same shall be submitted to division office. 4 If any challan is received in this office on any day from NGT/DPCC/CPCB/local authority/any govt. agency or any adverse orders are received from any court w.r.t responsibility associated with this work, the same shall be the sole responsibility of the agency. In case of failure in compliance, the amount of challan shall be recovered from the bill of the agency and repercussions will be borne solely by the agency. 5 The Security guards employed by the agency shall have robust health, medically fit and atleast 10th pass & of age between 18 to 50 years. However, upper age can be relaxed in case of Ex-servicemen but in any case, it cannot be more than 55 years. 6 The verification regarding character, antecedents and behavior of all the Security Guards will be the sole responsibility of the agency deploying them. 7 If Quoted rate of two or more bidders are same, the work will be awarded to the successful bidder as per outcome of draw of lots (lottery system) and as decided by the competent authority or the committee appointed by him. 8 The rates quoted by the agency shall not be less than 10% of the estimated cost. If the rates quoted are below 10% of the estimated cost, the bid would not be considered and will summarily be rejected as unresponsive.
