Overhauling of transformer by disconnecting the HT and LT side supply, dismantling the clamps, bolts, nuts & washers, lifting the transformer from structure by using crane and transport to the workshop to carry out the repair by draining out the transformer oil through the drain plug, removing the top portion, lifting the primary and secondary winding without disturbing or damaging the core and the coil, clean the bottom portion of the transformer tank by removing the deposited material, clean and keep the primary and secondary winding with core in electric oven minimum for 48 hours to enhance the insulation valve of the windings, supply and fixing breather pipe and packing, silica jel, oil level indicating transparent glass with marking minimum and maximum oil level indication, HT and LT side bushes assembly, gaskets and oil seals set including taking down u/s items and reassembling the transformer, refilling the transformer oil, reinstallation, testing and commissioning of the transformer should be carried out at required locations as directed for the following capacities:

100 KVA to 160 KVA capacity transformer Make - Kirloskar/HIT

210 KVA to 315 KVA capacity transformer Make - Essenar/HIT

Note: The rate quoted shall be deemed to include the following: (i) Overhauling of Transformer shall be done by the technician from reputed manufacturer's (ii) The required transportation, Crane, repairing tools shall be arranged by the contractor. (iii) De-hydration of the transformer oil should be carried out to improve BDV to withstand operational voltage before refilling (iv) Leak test to be carried out and rectified by brazing, welding etc before re-filling of the dehydrated transformer oil. (v) If any damage occurred during repair/testing of transformer then the responsibility lies with the contractor for rectification without any extra cost.

Supply and filling of Transformer oil suitable for distribution of transformer with di-electric strength of BDV 60 KV complete including removal of unserviceable oil complete. Make - Power oil/Castrol/Servo

The job includes disconnection the existing transformer and shifting of rented transformer in place of the existing transformer including electric connection. Till the time the existing transformer get repaired/rewinding of the transformer done at workshop the rented transformer should be in site in good condition as per the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge

Supply and fixing in repair of protection cover for LT and HT side of the outdoor type transformer of any capacity, the protection cover should be made out of 3 mm dia CRCA sheet in rectangular, triangular or square shape and fixing the same cover by means of nuts, bolts, etc including applying one coat of red oxide and two coat of super enamel paint over the exposed surface of the box all as directed by Engineer in charge

Attending External electric major complaints which the outsourcing electricians are not able to complete by deputing Highly skilled electrician as and when complaint received by JE E/M/ Engineer-in-Charge at different sites i.e. CE R&D, DMDE, Varun Vihar, Pratap Colony, Ombir Colony, Gopal colony. Note :- The spares will be measured and paid separately. The electrician to reach the complaint site within 3 hrs of receiving of complaint on phone/whatsaap etc. failing which a penalty of Rs 500/- per hour will be levied on the contractor as penalty.
