Construction of Head Works Earthwork in excavation of foundation of Headwork in all types of soils as per design and drawing including dressing the foundation, shoring etc. removing the surplus spoils by head lead to a safe distance, watering, breaking clods to not more than 10 cm cube with compensation all complete as directed at site (including bailing out stagnant rain water where necessary). A) Without Dewatering:-

Supply of 'Z'- type sheet piles of efective width 0.69m, thickness 8mm and average weight @ 68.30 kg/ RM including loading and unloading. Sheet piles are provided along all four sides to avoid under ground cross flow.

Labour for placing in position of imported Z- type sheet piles including cutting to proper size and making holes etc. and driving it to the specified level and lines including painting sheet piles with two coats of anti- corrosive bituminous paints (piles to be embedded shall not be painted) including carriage from departmental go- down complete as directed.

Supplying, fitting, fixing & laying M.S./ Tor Steel of all sizes in position as per design and drawing as required including cutting, cranking & making hooks with necessary lappages & tying with wire (black) complete as directed including cost of all materials.

Reinforced C.C. work in prop. 1: 2: 4 with aggregate of size 6 mm to 20 mm free from dust, dirt & foreign materials with proper reinforcement as per design and drawing including rodding/ vibrating, curing etc. with bailing out of water where necessary complete as directed. (payment of reinforcement will be made separately) A. With shuttering & with dewatering-

Cement concrete work in prop. 1: 3: 6 with aggregate of size 6 mm to 20 mm free from with supplying of all materials complete as directed. (Temporary arrangement for obtaining clean water should be made at site) i) Without shuttering - with dewatering: -

Cement concrete work in prop. 1: 4: 8 with aggregate of size 13 mm to 48 mm free from dust, dirt & foreign materials including rodding/ vibrating, curing etc. with bailing out of water where necessary with supplying of all materials complete as directed. (Temporary arrangement for obtaining clean water should be made at site) a) without shuttering with dewatering ––– base course:-

12 mm thick cement plastering including clearing the surface and curing etc. complete as directed (Prop. 1: 3).

Supplying and mixing Rapidite with C.C./ R.C.C. work under sub- surface level complete.

Collection & supply of one man size hard river boulder of size 23 cm to 30 cm including Collection & supply of one man size hard river boulder of size 23 cm to 30 cm including royalty, sales tax etc. including local carriage to work site etc.

Labour for pitching with one man size boulder including dressing and ramming the seat to proper size and slope pitching etc. with local carriage of boulders from a distance of 50 m with lift upto 3 m complete as directed.

Collection and supply of hard river gravel of size 13 mm to 38 mm including carriage to work site and stacking in measurable stacks etc. complete as directed. (Distance = 30 KM)

Labour for spreading hard river gravel/ broken stone of size 13 mm to 38 mm to required thickness including ramming and dressing the seat before laying the materials complete as directed including all local carriage etc. complete as directed.

Supplying and laying filter ‘bajri’ in the gaps between the cement concrete blocks complete as directed. (6 mm to 19 mm size aggregate).

Supplying, fitting and fixing 38 mm dia G.I. pipe (Tata) railing in three rows including two coats silver painting etc.

Earth work in back filling of structure with earth obtained from out side borrow pits & filling in 15 cm. layers, ramming, dressing & competition and watering including paying compensation of land if any (with lead up to 3M and lift 1.50M).

Supplying, fabricating, fitting and fixing the steel gates of Cross and Head Regulator as per design and drawing and specifications including supplying, fabricating, fitting and fixing operating platform including supplying steel beam, channel sections, Rubber Seal etc. embedded partly where necessary and manual operated hoisting equipments including carriage of all materials to work site complete as directed.

Diversion Head Channel Earthwork in excavation of diversion / feeder channel to the designed section and grade by depositing the spoils in the form of an embankment on either side of the designed section in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick including clearing light jungles and tree upto 15 cm. dia., uprooting roots and stumps from the seat of embankment and canal free from all vegetation including breaking clods not more that 10 mm cube ramming, dressing, bailing out stagnant rain water where necessary complete as directed.

Cofferdam Earthwork in all soils in canal embankment & bed filling as per designed section and grade by tractor carriage for a minimum distance of 1 KM including paying compensation of earth obtained from private, if any, loading, unloading spreading the same in embankment in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick including clearing light jungles, removing trees upto 15 cm dia & uprooting roots & stumps etc. from the seat of embankment, breaking clods to not more than 10 cm cubes ramming, dressing, roughening the seat of embankment, profiling etc. with all lead and lift complete as directed. (12.5% shrinkage allowance to be considered).

Construction of whole bamboo single pallasiding with matured jati bamboo stalks 60mm to 75mm dia, fixed 15cm clear apart 1.20m to 1.5m above ground and 1.00m to 1.2m below ground with jati bamboo struts fixed 1.2m to 1.5m apart tied with galvd. Wire of 16G to 18G and with three rows of horizontal half jati bamboo kamies complete as directed.

Supplying and laying empty cement bags filled with sand/ earth (as locally available) including stitching the mouth, laying, fixing in position with supply of bags, sutli, etc. complete as directed.
