Clearing Jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1m above ground level and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50 m / outside the periphery of the area cleared as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing Structural steel work in M.S Plain Plates and chequrred Plates for Embedded Parts, Trench Covers, Connection plates etc.including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved zinc chromate steel primer etc.including cost of structural steel Plates, welding all labour charges etc. complete as per drawings and specifications. Using materials of approved manufacturers or of approved equivalent quality/ product meeting technical parameters. All test reports to be provided along with the supply of the materials. Important Notes for Item No. 15 & 16 : 1. The contractor shall supply documentary evidence of purchase of steel, Test certificate from approved manufacturers and also third party testing from approved laboratories with out any extra cost. 2. Welding weights, connections, bolts and nuts shall not be measured for payment but the cost of which shall be deemed to have been included in the rates. 3. Welding Electrodes manufactured by M/s. Advani Oerlicon / ESAB India & D& H of specified suitable grade only shall be used. 4. Holes to be drilled only by Drilling machines and gas cutting of holes are not permitted. 5. Rate inclusive of all consumables like GAS, welding electrodes and tools and tackles etc.

Providing and supplying Hydra crane 08 MT capacity for the collection and transportation of scrap items, unserviceable equipments, from various location inside BARC Trombay Mumbai. Notes:1. The rates of item No 29,30,and 31 shall be inclusive of machine, Fuel, Operator, Driver, Helper and other consumables etc. The contractor is required to engage skilled driver / Operator possessing valid driving license (Preferably professional). 2. The make and model of the vehicle should be less than 8 Years old, roadworthy with all valid documents.3. The vehicle should be free from all sorts of defects and will be subjected to inspection by a representative of BARC whose decision is final and binding as regards suitability of that particular vehicle. 4. The cost of POL, maintenance of vehicle including replacement of parts, fuel, etc., wages of driver, Motor Vehicle taxes, comprehensive insurance, etc. shall be payable by contractor and BARC shall have no liability towards usage of the vehicle. 5. The rates are inclusive of all taxes if any, including Goods & Service taxes (GST). 6. In and exit time at North gate/south gate of BARC shall be strictly considered for billing / measurements / payments. Log book duly countersigned by Engineer InCharge to be maintained. 7. Breakdown hours and lunch break timing shall not be considered for the payments. 8. Fraction of hours shall be rounded off to nearest half an hour at time of preparing the bill. 9. BARC being a strategic Organisation, all the operators, drivers should have good credentials and shall have valid Police Verification Certificate, Driving licenses and address proof. They should be in a position to understand Hindi / English. 10. Cost of damages to any Government movable/ immovable property in and around the site shall be entirely borne by the contractor. 11. Required number of Manpower shall be provided as per the instructions/ Duty slip. 12. The contractor shall follow all security rules & regulations of BARC issued from time to time and no claim, whatsoever, will be entertained in this regard. 13. The driver and the labourers shall work as per the instructions given by the departmental Officers. 14. Advance intimation will be given to the contractor about the requirement. 15. The Trucks along with laboureres should report at North Gate, BARC at 08:30 Hrs. 16. The normal working duty of the truck/hydra/JCB/dumper/manpower will be 08 hours excluding half hour lunch break, work done for more than 8 hours will be calculated on pro-rata basis for each shift. 17. The contractor shall take the signature of the departmental authorities on duty completion slip daily after completion of the work. 18. The successful contractor shall arrange adequate insurance coverage for his personnel. Department shall not be responsible for any liability arising out of any accident / injury caused to contractor persons while executing the job. 19. The contractor shall follow minimum wages act and other rules of Government of Maharashtra.20. Hydra operator shall have valid "license" and new metallic lifting slings.
Forming vertical piles including shifting of plant at site i.e. one pile to another pile including initial test piles by boring through fill and all kinds of soils including hard murrum with gravel and chiselling through occassional boulders and soft / weathered / hard rock by continuous mud circulation technique with Rotary Drilling method / Augur Piling method , including conducting Standard Penetration test all as instructed by Engineer In Charge, carting away the bored excavated soil upto a lead of 600 M, fixing reinforcement as per drawing, casting the piles with Specified grade concrete by tremie only, using graded stone aggregates of maximum size 20 mm and river sand only, Using approved portland cement with a minimum cement content of 400 kg. per cubic metre of concrete and with water cement ratio including the water contained in the aggregates not exceeding 0.40, etc. all as specified.The Rate includes concreting a minimum of 600 mm above specified cut-off levels, cutting of piles at cut-off level specified including cost of all materials, admixtures, (Naphthalene/Melamine based or approved super plasticisers), if used with the prior approval of engineer, labour, tools, excavation, makingand levelling the ground for working platforms/ piling, dewatering by pumps or well points and also for cut-off chipping, all as required etc.excluding cost of Steel Reinforcement but including cost of boring with bentonite solution and temporary casing for approprite length for setting out and removal of same complete.

Note: The measurement will be made on the basis of actual weight of approved grout powder utilized for grouting.
Carrying out Civil Engineering works like surveying & leveling,checking of formwork fabrication, reinforcement fabrication as per drawings, witnessing sample retrieval & testing for various construction materials, ensuring concrete ingredients ratio plant and pouring of appropriate grade of concrete in plain and reinforced concrete works, ensuring proper mixing of approved ingredients & waterproofing admixtures for mortars and its application in brickwork, plaster, flooring & waterproofing works and other finishing works as per BARC specifications and relevant documentation, compiling, binding and preparation of tender documents and argeements keeping all data in computer as data entry operator, overall as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : (1) Each Job shall be carried out by one qualified Technician having minimum HSC/ SSC or Trade Certificate in the Masonry/Plumber/ Carpenter /Painter Trade of not less than One year duration from ITI/ /Govt. recognized Vocational Training Institute. (2) Deployment: The contractor shall deploy one Technician for each job for 8 ½ hours per day with 30 minutes of break, in General (Ist / IInd) or on Round the clock shift whenever necessary as per the discretion of the Engineer-in-Charge during the contract period. (3) Period of work: The contractor shall carry out the Jobs per day for the period as mentioned in NIT. Measurement will be per job basis.
