Disconnecting electric connections from alternator and fuel connection from engine decoupling of engine and alternator for repair, strip opening and de-assembling of engine for repair including dismantling of radiator, radiator fan, water pump assembly, air cleaner, rocker cover housing rocker, taking out piston and piston assembly, CR bearing, inlet and exhaust valve by opening nuts bolts including wiring of stare assembly if required, of DG set 280 KVA, engine Make: Greaves and replacement of old defective spare parts with new spare parts under serial under item No-18 here in after, including any type of machine work required at site/ workshop to compete the repair including complete servicing the engine all as required at site, re-assembling the engine in existing position complete and testing on completion all as specified and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. Note: (a) New spare parts will be measured and paid separately as supply only under the respective items. (b) Cost of cleaning, welding, minor repair and special tools and plants required for dismantling engine will deemed to be included in quoted rates.

Repair, calibration, checking and pressure testing of fuel injectors assembly including replacement of damaged/ defective parts, cups, barrel and washers and testing whole assembly after necessary repair and fixing in engine of 280 KVA DG Set, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Repair to Head assembly by cutting, grinding, polishing and facing of cylinder head including replacement of cylinder head sets and minor repairs to cylinder head of 280 KVA DG Set, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Cleaning of radiator using ‘K’ oil and radiator cleaning solution hydraulic acid by pressure of pump and brush and necessary welding whichever is required for cleaning of 280 KVA DG Set, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Repair to Crank Shaft assembly by grinding, polishing including required material, tools and plant of 280 KVA DG Set, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Replacement of old unserviceable self starter assembly with new self starter assembly, suitable for DG set of 280 KVA, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Supply and Replacement of Oil seal front and rear suitable side for following Capacity DG Sets Make Kirlosker/ cummins/Greaves complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

500 KVA Kirloskar complete all as directed.

280 KVA Kirloskar complete all as directed.

M & L for Rewinding of burnt windings of Exhaust fans from DG Sets of size 400-450 mm size including dismantling from loc and removing the burnt out winding , cleaning the stator with CTC solution to remove the burnt slots. Rewinding the same with new super enamelled copper wire same gauge and size /number of turns , varnishing the winding completely and reassembling completely.

Servicing of primary coolent circulating pump for 500 to 750 KVA make:Kirloskar/Cummins/Greaves/Perkins all as specified and directred by Engr-in-Charge.

Repair and servicing of scilensor/exhaust manifold for 500 to 750 KVA make:Kirloskar/Cummins/Greaves/Perkins all as specified and directred by Engr-in-Charge.

Repair and servicing of scilensor/exhaust manifold for 280 to 500 KVA make:Kirloskar/Cummins/Greaves/Perkins all as specified and directred by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing battery cable of copper conductor multistranded RED and BLACK colour 2mtr long 21sqmm for connection to self starter unit to Battery unit complete.

Material & labour for Chemical earthing complete with copper plate electrode 900mm x 600mm x5mm burried directly in ground vetically to a depth not less than 4.70 mtr below normal ground level (with top edge of earth plate not less than 3.60 mtrs below ground level ) connected to copper strip 32 mm x 6 mm as main earthing lead by means of tinned copper/ brass bolts nuts checknuts, and washers besides brazing ( copper strip shall be 0.5 M overlaped with copper plate by brazing) at all joints all as directed and connected to earth test point all as specified and testing on completion with and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil earth,GI pipe medium grade 50 mm bore for protection of copper strip from earth electrode to and including the earth test point of galvanised Iron/steel , adequate quality of charcoal dust, common salt and magnesium sulphate in alternate layers of 100 mm thick x 6 layers all around the plate , and RCC cover of size 54x54x50 mm (1:2:4) type B1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bars @ 75mm C/C both ways with mild steel handle 12 mm dia, PGI funnel with wire mesh, 20 mm dia GI pipe light grade for watering all as shown in drawing Note - 1. Cost of copper strip and GI protection pipe up to a distance 7.5 M shall be included in quated rate of above Items. 2. On testing,after completion of job ,if desired earth resistence is not found i.e. below 1.00 Ohms ,the earthing shall be redone on no extra cost to govt.
