Providing, installation, testing and commissioning of 'Silent' type Diesel Generating Set as per CPCB-II norms alongwith having Prime Power Rating of 30KVA/24KW, 415 volts at 1500 RPM, 0.8 power factor at 415 Volt suitable for 50Hz, 3 Phase System and consisting of the following and as per specifications and conditions:

Diesel Engine:

Diesel Engine 4 Cylinders, 4 Stroke cycle,water Cooled Engine , turbocharged after cooled developing 40 BHP at 1500 RPM under NTP conditions of BS:5514. . The engine will be fitted completed with all the required accessories.

(Makes:- Cummins /equivalent models from Catepillar/Volvo).

Specifications:

4 cylinder, in-line 4 stroke, water cooled engine.

Well designed air handling system with dry type, heavy duty, replaceable paper element air cleaner with restriction indicator, Air to air aftercooling, optimised turbocharger for increased altitude capabilities.

Optimised fuel consumption with inline fuel pump with mechanical governing, spin on fuel filter with water separator.

Standard integral set-mounted radiator system, desingned and tested for 50oC ambient temperatures.

Alternator:

Sychronous alternator rated at 30 kVA, 415 volts at 1500 RPM, 3 Phase 50 Hz, AC supply with 0.8 power factor at 40oC, 50% RH at 1000 Meters MSL. The alternator shall be brushless type, self excited conforming to IS/IEC 60034-1, 3 phase reconnectable winding with 12 terminals brought out for connection, better motor starting capability, dynamically balanced rotor, compact design with sealed bearings for longer life and lesser maintenance and impregnation on all wound components for better mechanical strength.

Base Frame & Foundation:

Both the engine and alternator shall be mounted on suitable base frame made of MS channel with necessary reinforcement which shall be installed on suitable cement concrete foundation and vibration isolation arrangemnt as per recommendations of the manufacturer. The foundation shall be 400mm below the ground level and 150mm above the ground level.

Fuel Tank:

Daily service fuel tank of standard 150 litres capacity fabricated out of MS sheet complete with all standard accessories and fuel piping between fuel tank and diesel engine with MS class 'C' pipes of suitable dia. complete with valves, level indications and accessories as required as per specifications.

Exhaust System:

Dry exhaust mainfold with Residential Silencer as per manufacturer specification.

Starting System:

12 volt DC starting system compring of starter motors: voltage regulator and arrangement for initial excitation complete with 1 No. 12 volts battery lead acid type sealed maintenance free as required as per specifcations.

Accoustic and weather proof enclosure with arrangement for fresh air intake for cooling of the engine and alternator, extraction, discharging hot air into the atmosphere as per specifications and CPCB-II norms.

Supplying, installation, testing and commissioning of automatic mains failure panel, fabricated with 2mm thick CRCA sheet duly supported with MS channels suitable for 30 KVA DG Set complete with relays, timers, set of CTs for metering and protection to indicate line currents, phase and line voltages, frequency, KWH to provide overload, short circuit, restricted earth fault, under frequency, over frequency protection, contactors and other instruments including KWH meter, frequency meter , control cabling from AMF Panel to diesel engine as required.

Complete rate of DG Set including price of DG set, price of AMF Panel, Installation chargers Cable connection etc. completes in all respects: -

Earthing with copper earth plate 600 mmx600 mmx 3 mm thick, including accessories and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe etc. ( but without charcoal or coke and salt ) complete as required.

Extra for using salt and charcoal for G.I. or copper plate earth electrode complete as required.

Providing and fixing 25mm x 5mm copper strip on surface or in recess for earth connections etc. as required.

Providing and laying of one No. aluminium conductor, PVC insulated and PVC sheathed, armoured/XLPE power cable, working voltage 1100 volts grade direct in ground; to be laid 1 meter below the ground level including excavation and refilling the trench etc.as required, but excluding sand cushioning and protective covering:-
