EXTERNAL ELECTRIC SUPLLY Taking out of old unserviceable PVC under ground LT cable of any size and type fixed on pole, wall or laid in floors, trenches, across road crossing etc ,including taking out of cable covers of precast PCC / RCC slab or brick cover etc setting aside serviceable materials in safe custody for reuse and or unserviceable materials consider as schedule of credit complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- i). Dismantling of clamps nuts bolts etc, taking out of GI pipe in cable protection shall be measured and paid seperately under respective item of this schedule. ii).Cost for making good the disturbed surfaces of floors / walls in cement mortar 1:3 shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoated . However cost for making good the disturbed surfaces of roads with PCC and hard core filling is out of scope of this work and shall be measured and paid separetely

MAKE: Rex-Polyextrusion/Gemini or E-in-C's approved make.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth and getting out in any type of soil for laying of LT UG cables complete. Note:- The Rate quoted deemed to including cutting and removal of PSP Sheets wherever occured during excavation and the same shall be staged at desired location as directed at site

Returning, filling in, including spreading levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removing excavated material not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for Cutting through existing road surfaces i.e. surfacing PCC soling etc, and making trench of minimum 500mm wide 100cm in depth along the cross section of road for laying of pipes or UG cables, including returning filing in, well ramming & removal of surplus soil to a distance not exc. 50 mtrs & repairs to road surfaces to match with existing including bitumin as required at site all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F in replacement MCCB 3 pole of capacity 125 Amps AC 415 Volts Confirms to IS/IEC 60947-2, Breaking capacity 16 KA, positive isolation, thermal magnetic release, adjustable overload 70-100%, adjustable short circuit 5-10 In all as specified and directed.

M & L for Servicing of DG sets of capacity 63 kVA and 320 kVA including carrying out maintenance and check alongwith following repairs :- (i) Drain out the lubricating oil from sump and refilling after proper cleaning of sump. (ii)Replace Engine Oil filter cartridge with New one. (iii)Replace fuel filter cartridge with New one. (iv)Check tightness of all nuts and bolts. (v) Check adjustment of V belt for driving engine water pump and alternator. (v) Cleaning of fuel tank as required (vi) Assembling complete old serviceable parts and replacement of old unserviceable parts by new one as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge (vii)Testing of DG set after servicing as per Engineer-in-Charge. (viii) Cleaning of air cleaner filter and renew after period two hundred hrs run of DG Set or as recommended by Engineer-in-Charge and contractor shall be responsible to carry out the maint/servicing where require time to time and for which no extra payment shall be permitted. (ix) Any parts/Engine oil required to be replaced during servicing of engine shall be measured and paid for separately. (Note : Service of DG Sets 63 KVA and 320 KVA - 2 Nos. All spare required for replacement shall be supplied under following items).

Note:-(i) Any minor parts such as screws, washers , split pin , circlip, cotton waste, etc shall be supplied by the firm, rate for the same shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted. (ii)The Job shall be carried out after two hundred hrs run of DG Set or as recommended by Engineer-in-Charge and contractor shall be responsible to carry out the maint/servecing where require time to time and for which no extra payment shall be permitted. (iii) Any parts required to be replaced during servicing of engine shall be measured and paid for separately.

Note:-The Item shall be operated maximum three times in the entire period of the contract.

Trimming of tree branches to clear the HT/LT OH lines girth of tree branches exc 25 mm and not exc 50 mm and stacking the materials where directed to a distance not exc 50 mtr and clearing the site upto entire satisfaction of Engnr-in-Charge complete all as specified and directed .

All as per Item No-64 here-in-before ,but girth of tree branches exc. 51mm and not exc.100 mm.

Supply and fix in repair HT 11 KV, out door type gang operated air-break switch suitable for horizontal or vertical mounting fixed type complete with 09 insulators of rating upto 200 Amps all as specified and directed.

Dismantling air break gang operated switches vertical/horizontal mounted including insulators and operating mechanism for repair/ replacement of broken/worn out components and insulators etc. or carrying to MES store (spare/components for replacement to be provided under item-66)

Supply and fix in repair Lightning arresters expulsion type complete with all fittings, transmission class, discharge capacity 65 kilo amp HT 11 KV all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and errect in replacement steel tubular swaged poles complete with MS base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts & screws as specified type 410 SP-55 (11 metres long) conforming to IS 2713 including applying two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer over the exposed surface and applying two coats of black bituminous paint over the embeded portion of pole, errecting in truly vertical position complete including taking down old U/S pole all as specified and directed. Note-Required cement work and PCC to be done as specified in SSR Part-1 and shall be included in quoted rate.

M&L for Earthing complete with GI earth plate 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less that 2.25mtr deep below ground level ) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level connected to 32x6 mm GI strip as earthing lead by means of brazing after tighten by bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers from earth pit to test point with protection GI pipe of size 50mm dia light grade and providing masonry enclosure including watering GI pipe (medium grade) 20 mm bore from bottom of earth pit to top of electrode and 20 mm GI pipe light grade for earth strip protection complete with earth pit in PCC 1:2:4 type B0 using 12 mm graded crushed stone aggregate, RCC cover, funnel, wire mesh including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, returning filling in and removal of surplus soil complete all as specified and as directed. Supply , laying, jointing & testing of DI Type K-7 pipe, 150mm dia, with socket & spigot ends, with cement morter zinc coated out side as per IS 8329/2000 in standard length suitable for and including push on tyton joints with rubber rings, laid in trenches, including taking up or down old unserviceable water mains (including all fittings) complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

Note for Item No. 80 & 81: Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant items

Note for serial item No. 90 : - (a) Up to 0.50 Cum of the earth work shall be included in the job & more than 0.50 Cum shall be measured and paid separately. (b) The complaint / breakdown shall be rectified by the contractor within 24 Hours. Any delay thereafter, recovery at double the rate quoted per job shall be deducted from the dues of contractor by the Enginer-in-charge without any notice. (c) A proper record of complaint slip shall be maintained by the Engineer-in-Charge for making the payment against these items and recovery if any in case of failure of attending and rectifying the complaint within 24 hours. (d) Two pipe fitter and two helper with required T&P shall always be made available for attending complaints. (e) All material such as bends, unions, nipple, tees, sockets of suitable size and all other items rate includes each job. MES not given any material and not paid seperately

S&F and testing CI sluice valves, 150 mm dia, both ends flanged and drill in with brass spindle and brass check nuts, hand wheel made out of CI complete suitable for tested hydrostatic pressure 15 Kg/Sqcm. (PN 1.6) and confirming to IS 780, including taking out of existing unserviceable valve complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F and testing CI sluice valves, 100 mm dia, both ends flanged and drill in with brass spindle and brass check nuts, hand wheel made out of CI complete suitable for tested hydrostatic pressure 15 Kg/Sqcm. (PN 1.6) and confirming to IS 780, including taking out of existing unserviceable valve complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F cast iron non return valve heavy duty ISI marked, 150 mm bore, with jointing material flanged joint rubber gasket 6mm thick nuts,MS nuts, bolts, washers including taking out of existing unserviceable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for carry out water quality anyalsis for bacterial , chemical and biological analysis including for collection of water samples from Pump house PCDA (NC) as specified by Engineer-in-charge and testing from Govt approved testing laboratory , submitting of report from minimum following parameters. (a) Free chlorine (b) pH (c) Total Hardness (d) Total Alkalinity (e) Bacterological standards (f) Chemica standars (g) physical standards (h) copper (i) chloride . Notes: 1. Saperate water samples should be collected & tested for Each location as specified above 2. No payment shall be made to contractor till submission of water test report for the water samples of locations mentioned above

M&L for cleaning of valve pit chamber removing sludge deposited inside chambers,removing sliuce valve changing packing rope and also spindle,clearing of all leakages from chamber complete all as specified and directed by Engineer In Charge
