(E) PAVEMENT

Compacting original ground supporting subgrade Loosening of the ground upto a level of 300 mm below the subgrade level,watered,graded and compacted in layers to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and300.2 for subgrade construction as per technical specification clause 303.5.2.

Scarifying existing bituminous surface by mechanical means & disposal of scarified material with a lift upto 3 m & lead upto 1000 m as per technical specifications clause 301.5

Granular sub-base :- Granular sub-base course with local materials nallah /quarry (Table 400.13)by mix in place method normal, Construction of granular sub-base by providing local material spreading in uniform layers with mortor grader/ manually on prepared surface , mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at once and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density complete as per Clause 401,401.4 as per Technical Specification Clause 408 (using naturally occuring gravel) including loading, unloading, haulages,octroi charges and royality complete.(finished work to be measured).

WMM: Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregates to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mixer (pug miller), carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers in sub-base/base course on a well prepared sub-base and compacting with smooth wheel roller of 80 to 100 KN weight to achieve the desired density including lighting, barricading & maintenance of diversion, etc as per tables 400.11 & 400.12 & technical specification clause 406 Including loading, unloading,haulages, royality,octroi charges, form work etc complete.

Prime Coat :- Providing and applying (medium Porosity) Primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) V.G-10 on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.90-1.2 kg/sqm as per Technical Specification Clause 502. Including cost, loading, unloading, haulage octroi charges etc complete (finished work to be measured).

Tack Coat :- Providing and applying Tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25-0.30 kg/sqm on the prepared granular surface treated with primer and cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503. Including loading, unloading, haulage octroi charges etc complete (finished work to be measured).

Bituminous Macadam :- Providing and laying bituminous macadam (50mm thick) with hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of grading as per table 500.3 and 500.4 premixed with bitumen binder V.G -10, not less than 3.3 % laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required camber,grade, level and alignment and rolled to achieve the desired compaction as per Technical Specification Clause 504. Including loading, unloading, haulage octroi charges etc complete (finished work to be measured).

20mm OGPC:- Providing, laying and rolling of open- graded premix carpet of 20mm thickness composed of 13.20 mm to 5.60mm size aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen V.G-10 to required line, grade, camber and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with 80-100 K.N,finished to required level and grade as per Technical Specification Clause 508.By Mechanical Means .Including loading, unloading, haulage octroi charges etc complete (finished work to be measured).

Seal Coat :- Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grades and cross fall using Type B bitumen (S-90) as per Technical Specification Clause 510 and 510.2.3 by mechanical means (S-90) Including loading, unloading, haulage, octroi charges etc complete (finished work to be measured).

Earthen Shoulder:Construction of Shoulder with approved material obtained from borrow pits with a lift upto 1.5m transporting to site spreading grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirements of tables 300.1 and 300.2 with a lead upto 1000m as per technical specification clause 301.5.Including loading, unloading octerio, royality (haulage) etc finished work to be measured.

Part F Road Furniture

Providing and fixing of typical PMGSY informatory sign board with logo as per MORD specification and , as per drawing Clause 1701 and annexure 1700.1. (Fig No.2 ).with all leads, lifts, loading unloading handling , Re-handling and octori.(Finished work to be measured, complete .)

Providing and fixing of Citizen Information Board as per drawing and detail of PMGSY (Fig 3 "A") with all leads, lifts, loading unloading handling , Re-handling and octori.(Finished work to be measured, complete .)

Reinforced cement concrete M-15 grade kilometer stones / local stone of standard design as per IRC : 8 fixing in position including painting and printing , etc.as per drawing and technical specification Clause 1703. Reinforced cement concrete M-15 grade Boundary Pillars / local stone of standard design as per IRC : 25 fixing in position including finishing and lettering but excluding painting as per Drawing and technical specification Clause 1704.with all leads, lifts, loading unloading handling , Re-handling and octori.(Finished work to be measured, complete .)

Providing and fixing of mandatory / cautionary / informatory sign boards to be fixed at different locations as per drawing annexed.with all leads, lifts, loading unloading handling , Re-handling and octori.(Finished work to be measured, complete .)

Painting lines, dashes, arrows, etc. on roads in two coats on new work with ready mixed road marking paint conforming to IS:164 on bituminous/concrete surface, including cleaning the surface of all dirt, dust and other foreign matter, demarcation at site and traffic control as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1702
