SCHEDULE - C (Housekeeping) Part-I (Civil Estate)
Carryingout day-to-day maintenance of floors of certain residential & non-residential building, Multi storey C-Type quarters, MC-type, MB Type, T2 Type, T3 Type, D-type quarters, Public buildings, offices, auditorium, services room, library, open area, Board Room, Meeting Hall, Terraces, Glazing, Pantry Areas, Security Buildings, in BE Estate and cleaning, upkeeping of toilets which includes cleaning of Utility rooms, meter panel room, paving areas etc, floors, dados, urinal partitions, mirrors, towel rails, urinal partitions, water closets (European / Indian Type) including flushing systems, washbasin, urinals of any size including their bibcocks, stopcocks, connecting pipes etc., using jet machines,scubbers,vaccum cleaners, wipers, brushes, brooms and cleaning agents like detergents, phenyl, washing soda, washing soap etc., by rubbing vigourously all as per the scope of work detailed in Annexure-C1 and for the list of assets/areas indicated in Annexure-C2 and or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge etc., complete. The scope of work shall also include removal of cobwebs, cleaning of doors, removal of blockages within the toilet area etc.,including providing Rodent & Pest control services etc. by engaging suitable trained manpower of required number (to be assessed by the contractor) all as per the instructions of Engineer-In-Charge etc., complete. (Housekeeping of approximately 41784 sqm per day is to be done for 301 days, total area per year is 301*41784=12576984 Sqm) NOTE: (i) The consumables required for cleaning and housekeeing will have to be arranged by the Contractor and payment for the same as per actuals will be made under the relevant items of SOQR. (ii) The non-consumable materials like brooms, brushes, buckets, mugs, baskets, gunny clothes, cotton swabs, etc., and the required machines like jet machines, scrubbers and vaccum cleaners including safety materials are deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (iii) The rate shall be for the complete finished work on Job Contract Basis. However, while quoting it may be noted that the requirements indicated are only tentative and the Contractor is responsible to provide additional equipments to ensure that, the cleaning operation is carried out satisfactorily through mechanized system only.
Carryingout day-to-day maintenance of floors of Bharat Electronics Educational Institutions in BE Estate and cleaning, upkeeping of toilets which includes cleaning of Utility rooms, meter panel room, paving areas etc, floors, dados, urinal partitions, mirrors, towel rails, urinal partitions, water closets (European / Indian Type) including flushing systems, washbasin, urinals of any size including their bibcocks, stopcocks, connecting pipes etc., using jet machines, scubbers, vaccum cleaners,wipers, brushes, brooms and cleaning agents like detergents, phenyl, washing soda, washing soap etc., by rubbing vigourously all as per the scope of work detailed in Annexure-C1 and for the list of assets/areas indicated in Annexure-C2 and or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge etc., complete. The scope of work shall also include removal of cobwebs, cleaning of doors, removal of blockages within the toilet area etc.,including providing Rodent & Pest control services etc. by engaging suitable trained manpower of required number (to be assessed by the contractor) all as per the instructions of Engineer-In-Charge etc., complete. (Housekeeping of approximately 10216 sqm per day is to be done for 301 days, total area per year is 301*10216=3075121 Sqm) NOTE: (i) The consumables required for cleaning and housekeeing will have to be arranged by the Contractor and payment for the same as per actuals will be made under the relevant items of SOQR. (ii) The non-consumable materials like brooms, brushes, buckets, mugs, baskets, gunny clothes, cotton swabs, etc., and the required machines like jet machines, scrubbers and vaccum cleaners including safety materials are deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (iii) The rate shall be for the complete finished work on Job Contract Basis. However, while quoting it may be noted that the requirements indicated are only tentative and the Contractor is responsible to provide additional equipments to ensure that, the cleaning operation is carried out satisfactorily through mechanized system only.

The scope of work shall also include removal of cobwebs, cleaning of doors, removal of blockages within the toilet area etc., complete. The housekeeping work is to be carried out in two shifts of 4 Hours each. First shift timings from 06:00 to 10:00 Hrs. and second shift from 17:00 to 21:00 Hrs. The shift timings may change based on the requirement and prevailing conditions. Measurement will be given for one time in a day for two shifts. (Note: The materials / Consumables required for cleaning will have to be arranged by the Contractor and payment will be made for the same under the relevant items of SOQR). Total area is around 1,100 Sqm. Total area per year = 1100 X 313 days=344300 Sqm. Unit rate considered is "Rs. per Sqm per day"
Carrying out day-to-day maintenance of Officer’s Club and Sports Club area in BE Estate and cleaning, up keeping of Dining hall, kitchen, bar, office, billiards room, gymnasium, toilets, AC and Non-AC hall, Mini Hall, Ladies club and gym, sports club etc. which includes cleaning of floors, dados, sanitary fittings and fixtures etc. using brushes, brooms and cleaning agents like detergents, phenyl, washing soda, washing soap, bleaching powder etc., by rubbing vigorously all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge etc., complete. The scope of work shall also include removal of cobwebs, cleaning of doors, removal of blockages within the toilet area etc., complete. The housekeeping work is to be carried out in two shifts of 8 Hours each. First shift timings from 07:00 to 15:00 Hrs. and second shift from 15:00 to 23:00 Hrs. (Tractor mounted sweeper machine with Kamasweep-3AT-1850 from Kamavida or equivalent). The waste collected shall be segregated and disposed away from the Company premises as per BBMP or KSPCB norms. The contractor has to deploy standby mechanised sweeping machine in case of breakdown. The quoted rate shall include transportation, loading and unloading etc., as per the scope of work detailed in Annexure-C1 and for the list of assets/areas indicated in Annexure-C2. Total area of the roads to be swept is around 293720 Sqm. Hence, total quantity of roads to be swept per annum =293720 sqm per day x 301 days = 88409720 Sqm. Unit rate considered is "Rs. per 100 Sqm per day".

Carrying out day-to-day public health maintenance works such as sweeping and cleaning of roadside berms, footpaths, pathways, open drains and other areas daily using suitable machine or equipment and manually where approach is not practical, including trimming of grass, removal of rank vegetation collecting of litter, removing of excess or deposited muck/silt and dust, Clearing of unauthorized posters, banners, all dead animals and unwanted stuff, desilting / removal of minor blocks in chambers, manholes, sewer lines, waste discharge pipes, etc., complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. The waste collected shall be segregated and disposed away from the Company premises as per BBMP or KSPCB norms. The quoted rate shall include machine or equipment, transportation, loading and unloading etc., all as per the scope of work detailed in Annexure-C1 and for the list of assets/areas indicated in Annexure-C2. Total area of the roads to be swept is around 91,950 Sqm. Hence, total quantity of roads to be swept per annum =91,950 sqm per day x 301 days = 2,76,76,950Sqm. Unit rate considered is "Rs. per 100 Sqm per day".
De-silting of drains, including culverts, shoulder drains connecting to main drains including de-silting all main drains using required tools/tackles, man power and required machineries wherever required. The waste generated shall be segregated and disposed away from the Company premises as per BBMP or KSPCB norms. The quoted rate shall include transportation, loading and unloading etc., all as per the scope of work detailed in Annexure-C1 and for the list of assets/areas indicated in Annexure-C2.
Removal of major blockages / clogs in man holes, chambers and interconnected sewage lines using required silt extractors and removal of blockages using pressurized water jet blockage remover (like Kam-vac/equivalent) of required capacity or by manual means including disposing of the extracted waste away from the company premises as per BBMP or KSPCB norms. Door-to-Door Collection of wet and dry waste etc.on day to day basis and segregating the same into Bio-Degradable & Non Bio-Degradable waste as specified in Annexure-C1. The waste collected shall be disposed away from the company premises as per the BBMP or KSPCB norms. The quoted rate shall include transportation, loading and unloading etc. and maintenance of organic waste converter machine all as per the scope of work detailed in Annexure-C1 and for the list of assets/areas indicated in Annexure-C2.
Carrying out roof cleaning in various places in BE Estate for all types of Quarters such as C-type Individual and Multistoried, D - Type, MB Type, MC Type, T3 type Individual and Multistoried, NA- Type individual and multistoried, B-type, T2 type, MA type, public buildings, office buildings, parking areas, roof gutters etc. Sweeeping the leaves (including small branches and fallen fruits) including spouts cleaning & removal of rain water pipe blockages, removing fungus, plants and other dirt materials completely by deploying necessary manpower, tools & tackles like brooms, sweeping stick, plastic tarpaulin sheet, ladder / extension ladder / self-supporting step ladder / roof ladder etc., including all other safety equipment as required at site. The collected waste shall be transported to designated place in the company premises and then allowed for composting. The quoted rate shall include transportation, loading and unloading etc., all as per the scope of work detailed in Annexure-C1 and for the list of assets/areas indicated in Annexure-C2 (Total area is 66000 Sqm, the is to be cleaned evry 3 months, total per year is 66000*4 times = 264000 Sqm per year).Unit rate considered is "Rs. per Sqm per day"

The collected waste shall be transported to designated place in the company premises and then allowed for composting following composting procedure. The quoted rate shall include transportation, loading and unloading etc., all as per the scope of work detailed in Annexure-C1 and for the list of assets/areas indicated in Annexure-C2. (Total area is 46000Sqm same is to be cleaned once in a year)
Making compost pits of required sizes by excavating the earth at the designated places using mechanical means like JCB, excavator etc. The excavated earth shall be stacked at 100m lead

Note: (i) The materials required for this item will be supplied by the company. (ii) Payment shall be made based on satisfactory performance only.

SCHEDULE - C (Housekeeping) Part-II (PDIC)
Carrying out day-to-day (a) Internal housekeeping which includes wet and dry cleaning, vacuum cleaning, removal of cob webs, cleaning of glasses etc. (b) External Housekeeping of the building including removing of chokes in PDIC premises, cleaning of roads, drains, parking, hard stand etc., with mechanically or manually as directed by the Engineer-In-charge etc., complete. (c) Sanitation works like cleaning of Toilets (d) Laundry services, as per the scope of work detailed in Annexure-C4 and for the list of assets/areas indicated in Annexure-C5 (Note: (i) The materials to be arranged by the Contractor and payment will be made for the same under the relevant items. The other non-consumable materials like brooms, brushes, buckets, mugs, baskets, gunny clothes, cotton swabs, etc., and the required machines like jet machines, scrubbers and vacuum cleaners including safety materials are deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (ii) The rate shall be for the complete finished work for month on Job Contract Basis. However while quoting it may be noted that the requirements indicated are only tentative and the Contractor is responsible to provided additional equipments to ensure that, the cleaning operation is carried out satisfactorily through mechanized system only).
Collecting and transporting of waste materials which are generated from different places of PDIC Complex and dumping the same away from company premises through motor vehicle (Hydraulically operated tractor with trailer of 3 cum capacity) as per instructions of Engineer-in-charge from time to time etc., complete. (Note: The contractor shall carry out this operation as and when required and or as directed by Engineer-in-charge only).

Cleaning of structural glazing and ACP panels of area 8000.00 sqmts, including all necessary mechanized equipments like winches, cables, wings (dondolas), rigs and all other safety equipments. Cleaning to be carried out once in every six months of the year ensuring each and every panel is thoroughly cleaned including chemicals, detergent, necessary tools and tackles etc., using gondolas or spider man techniques or combination of both as required as per the scope of work detailed in Annexure-C4 and for the list of assets/areas indicated in Annexure-C5 and directed by the Engineer-in-charge to suite site conditions etc., complete including necessary safety equipment for the personnel engaged in the cleaning activity. (Note: Rate to be quoted per cleaning and shall be carried out through certified/authorised agencies).
Carrying out day to day work of controlling of rodent menace and pest control services etc., by engaging the required no. of unskilled workers and carrying out all the works as per the scope of work detailed in Annexure-C4 and for the list of assets/areas indicated in Annexure-C5 and or as directed by engineer-in-charge etc., complete. (NOTE: (i) The rate to be quoted shall be for the complete finished work per month.(ii) The minimum labour force to be engaged on work on all the working days against this item)
Controlling cockroach menace inside the building premises by supplying fipronilgel in 80gm tube as per the scope of work detailed in Annexure-C4 and for the list of assets/areas indicated in Annexure-C5 and or as approved by the engineer-in-charge etc., complete.
Controling rodent menance in building inside the PDIC premises by supplying Cages/ Rat traps of best quality as approved by the engineer-in-charge and placing them at the suitable places as directed by the engineer-in-charge etc., complete as per the scope of work detailed in Annexure-C4 and for the list of assets/areas indicated in Annexure-C5.
Supplying Zinc phosphate for controlling the rodent menace by injecting / burying the mixture of zinc phosphate and atta (wheat flour) in the ratio of 1:4 (1 Zinc phosphate: 4 parts of atta) in the burrow holes as per the scope of work detailed in Annexure-C4 and for the list of assets/areas indicated in Annexure-C5 or as directed by engineer-in-charge etc., complete.
Providing and stacking of bucket wringer trolley of makes KLEENAL 20160012 (model No- K-118A) Brand 20litre capacity or any other reputed brands as approved by the Engineer-in-charge etc.
Providing and stacking batteries of make DURACELL alkaline D type 1.5V or other reputed brands as approved by Engineer-in-charge.

Maintenance of existing gardens in CRL complex which includes garden related features like all types of lawns, hedges, shrubs, trees, creepers, flower beds, ground covers, pathways, topiary plants, vertical gardens etc., as per the scope of work detailed in Annexure-C7 and for the list of assets/areas indicated in Annexure-C8 and or (Red soil, Manures quantity will be measured separately as per SOQR Nos. 10.06 & 10.07). Approx. quantity: 40000 sqm per month X 12 month=480000 sqm per annum.Unit rate considered is "Rs. per Sqm per Month".
Maintenance of nursery including existing potted plants (plants with plastic pots, cement pots and earthen pots) by regular watering, removal of dried and unwanted vegetation, deweeding, hoeing, stacking (if required), removal of excess rootlets, suckers, encouraging the apical meristem etc., as per the scope of work detailed in Annexure-C7 and for the list of assets/areas indicated in Annexure-C8 (Red soil, Manures quantity will be measured separately as per SOQR Nos. 10.06 & 10.07). Apprx. quantity : 500 Nos. per month x 12 Months = 6000 Nos. per annum)
Development of lawns includes proper digging, ground preparation, levelling, fine dressing, red soil application, manuring, consolidation, rolling, laying (at a distance of either side of 5 cm) of well grown Mexican mat, top dressing, deweeding, gap filling, lawn moving and further maintenance as per the scope of work detailed in Annexure-C7. (Red soil, Manures quantity will be measured separately as per SOQR Nos. 10.06 & 10.07).
Digging of pits (600mm x 600mm x 600mm) in ordinary soil and refilling the same with the excavated earth mixed with manure or sludge in the ratio of 2:1 by volume (2 parts of stacked volume of earth after reduction by 20% : 1 part of stacked volume of manure after reduction by 8%) dressing including removal of rubbish and surplus earth, if any, with all leads and lifts (Note: The cost of manure, sludge or extra good earth if needed lo be paid for separately under relevant item of work). (Red soil, Manures quantity will be measured separately as per SOQR Nos. 10.06 & 10.07).
Supply of additional unskilled manpower as and when required (including Sundays and Holidays) for Horticulture related works including tree trimming, pruning of tree branches, removal of naturally fallen trees/branches, cleaning of open storm water drains, attending Horticulture related works at Senior Officers residences, Customer Officers, unforeseen activities etc.,. Attending complaints related to tree pruning. During rainy season there is heavy falling of trees and tree branches which are to be removed to clear the area / roads (noticed during previous years) and or as directed by Engineer-in-charge etc., complete) as per the scope of work detailed in Annexure-C7.

Felling trees girth of less than 100 cm (measured at a height of 1 m above ground level), including cutting of trunks and branches, removing the roots and stacking of serviceable material and remaining shall be disposed to Shredding yard as per the scope of work detailed in Annexure-D1.

Clearing of wild growth (other than garden area) including plantation areas in the entire estate by mechanical trimming up to ground level and disposing of the same. This operation shall be carriedout through out the year in line with gardens to avoid over growth of unwanted vegetation as per the scope of work detailed in Annexure-D1. Apprx. quantity : 200 acres and about 4 operations per year (200 acres x 4 times = 800 acres for estate) Apprx. quantity : 4 acres and about 4 operations per year (4 acres x 4 times = 16 acres for CRL)
Disposal of any waste including green waste material by Mechanical transport including loading, transporting, unloading to waste management yard / compost pit complete as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge as per the scope of work detailed in Annexure-D1.
Green Waste / Housekeeping / Scrap Removal : Supply of tractor with trailor / Lorry (self tipping facility to accomodate about 8 cum of quantity including Driver and required manpower in order to remove the green waste / Production waste / scrap etc., generated at Estate (including PDIC & Nalanda). The green waste has to be dumped at compost pits / shredding area and Production scrap shall be unloaded at Disposal yard with in the BEL complex. The cost includes supply of vehicle, Driver, required manpower for loading activity, unloading etc.,) fuel, tools and tackles, safety items etc.,. complete. Apprx. quantity : 675 days for Estate and 100 days for CRL) as per the scope of work detailed in Annexure-D1.
Operating the Leaf / Wood shredder by loading the green waste / branches (which are stocked near the shredding machine) into the Machine and collecting the output into the tractor trailor including disposing the collected shredded green waste into composting pit, spraying / applying organic culture / Bio-inaculum etc., as per the scope of work detailed in Annexure-D1.
Sweeping of the Teak plantation areas using mechanized sweepers or blowers or Vacuum shredders and any other mechanized systems and manually where mechanized system does not approach by using suitable labour and dumping the same in to the compost pits as directed by the Engineer Incharge as per the scope of work detailed in Annexure-D1. (Apprx. quantity : 150 acres for Estate and 1 Acre for CRL)
Complete removal / emptying of compost pit and spreading the same in open areas or stacking the same at the designated place for further use including all operations etc., as per the scope of work detailed in Annexure-D1.
Supply of good quality Plastic Pots of size. 16 to 18 inches height & 15 to 20 inches top dia. (Thickness shall be more than 2 mm) as per the scope of work detailed in Annexure-D1.
Supply of well grown disease free seasonal flowering plants (Salvia, Petunia, Phlox, Marigold, Chrysenthemum, Hydrangia, Geranium, Gazania) of more then 15 cm height with bushy stems / branches in poly bags / pots at site including watering and removal of unserviceable material’s as per direction of Engineer-in-charge (Red soil, Manures quantity will be measured separately as per SOQR Nos.10.06 & 10.07. (8000 for Estate & 2000 for CRL) as per the scope of work detailed in Annexure-D1.
