SPECIAL REPAIRS TO ROAD INCORPORATING SOIL STABLISATION, SOIL NAILING TECHNOLOGY AND GABION , AND ROAD WIDENING TO COMPENSATE FOR REDUCED WIDTH DUE TO DAMAGE AT NAD JETTY ROAD, UNDER GE(P) VASCO,GOA

Consultancy services for the design of soil nailing and gabion structures, including preparation of drawings and vetting of the design by IIT/NIT.

Mobilization and demobilization of tools/equipments and personnel required to execute the job, including lodging & boarding expenses

Conducting Soil investigation (bore hole) as per IS : 1892 –2021 by manually / hydraulic / calax rotary drilling of 50 - 150mm diameter with casing pipe / bentonite slurry if required, for supporting inner collapsible stratum below water table with pot holes / helical auger in all sorts of soil upto depth of 15 Mtr or up to the depth of refusal.Conducting standard penetration test (SPT) & Collecting UDSat regular interval & Submit the SBC Report. Submission of proper analytical & graphical report with detailcalculation & design of soil bearing capacity, soil bearing pressure, type of Foundation etc as per codal provision.

Mobilization of the personnel & equipment to and from the site

Supply & fix of Soil Nailing and Shotcreting work by supplying and fixing geogrid/Weld Mesh And spraying 40 to 50mm thick concrete/mortar conveyed through a hose and pneumatically projected at high velocity on to the surface including providing manpower, shotcreting equipment with diesel complete, as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Nails (16 mm) of 1.5 metre length also will be provided along with shotcreting for the proposed area with spacing of 1.5 m (horizontally & vertically) all necessary items for soil nailing etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour scaffolding to the sides of steep area for instalation of soil nails, Gabion wall etc complete all as specified

Material and labour HDPE pipe of 110 mm dia of pressure rating 6 kgf/cm2 fixed to the retaining wall for the weep holes

Material and labour filliing of coarse sand at weep holes/HDPE pipes

Supplying and fixing CE Marked metal gabions indigenously manufactured as per required section including boxes made of mechanically woven hexagonal shaped wire mesh of type (10 X 12) cm, edges mechanically selvedged made of heavily(Zinc + PVC) Coated G.I. Wires as per BS:443/IS 16014:2012, mesh wire 2.70/3.70mm φ(ID/OD), edge wire 3.40/4.40 mm φ(ID/OD) and filled with 20 to 50 Kg weight trap stones including conveying with all leads and lifts and placing at required places in required line, level, slope, section as directed, etc and tied by 5% lacing wire 2.20/3.20 mm φ (ID/OD) as directed by Engineer-in-charge. For retaining walls,toewalls, etc.for slope protection & erosion control application of river bank shore etc.complete (Specification: Morth Section 2500) with prior approval of concerned engineer.Gabions boxes are mechanically woven hexagonal shaped wire mesh of type, 10 cm X 12 cm edges mechanically selved (Zinc +PVD) coated G.I wires as per BS: 443/IS 16014:2012, mesh wire dia, 3.00 mm, edge wire 3.70 mm Size. Gabion box sizes 1.00 Mx 1.00 M x 1.00 M Filling the mesh cage by Rubble/Stone (500Cu.m) transported from a distance above 75 km from the site, with careful hand packing in layers of approximately size including breaking of stone to required size and ensure good facing, including providing bracing wires, temporary formwork, closing of lids,aligning to correct lines & levels as per the site drawings, specifications.
