Providing, laying and fixing of self-adhesive glass fibre reinforcement grid of high modulus of approved make having mesh size not exceeding 12.5mm x 12.5mm. The self-glass fibre reinforcement after laying over the pavement shall be pressed down fully with a rubber tyred roller and glued to pavement surface. The grid being self-adhesive does not require tack coat. The longitudinal overlap should not be less than 250mm and transverse overlap i.e., at the end of the roll should not be less than 150mm. The items should be completed as per manufacturers specification and satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.
Providing and laying of Hot Mix Dense Bituminous Macadam (DBM) using crushed stone aggregate of quality, size and grading as specified and Cement filler as specified and Viscosity Grade Bitumen (supplied in bulk) in proportions as per job mix formula and laid to specified levels, grade and camber as per specification, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in- Charge including compacting with 8-10 tonne, preferably vibratory road roller of adequate capacity to achieve the specified values of compaction, strength, surface accuracy complete [for tendering purpose VG bitumen of grade VG-30 shall be taken as 110 kg/m3 of mix supplied in bulk produced by Govt. Refineries and 2% Cement by weight of aggregates as filler material.

Providing and laying Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC) produced in a batching and mixing plant having a Characteristic flexural strength i.e. flexural strength of 4.1 MPa at 28 days using Ordinary Portland cement of 43/53 grade or Portland Pozzolana Cement or Portland Slag cement conforming as per relevant IS codes, to be mixed at site, with 0.5% Super plasticizer by mass of cementitious material, fine aggregate, graded stone aggregates of 40 mm nominal size in appropriate proportion as per specification and job mix formula, laid in panels as per drawings/design as approved by the Engineer-In-Charge using Slip Form Paver or Fixed form paver including anti friction layer, joint filler board, making necessary provision for expansion, dummy and construction joint including filling with Polysulphide sealant of approved make, curing and making profile, complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge and specifications. The item for execution shall include all operations making pavement for intended use but not limited to following: (i) Polyethylene sheet (White in color) of thickness 400 micron conforming to IS: 2508 with 6mm thick fine sand layer. (ii) Providing and laying in position for expansion joint, 25mm thick pre-cut Synthetic joint filler board of approved make conforming to IS:1838(part 3)-2011, 45 mm from top (to be removed at the time of filling of Polysulphide sealant). (iii) Mechanically cutting dummy joints 3mm wide x 1/3rd thickness of slab which is subsequently widened to 10mm for the top 25mm depth and construction joints 10mm wide x 25mm deep as per specification.
(iv) Providing and laying in position Polysulphide sealant of approved make conforming to BS-5212-1990 or IS: 11433-1995 in expansion/ construction / dummy joints including rounding off edges, applying 2 coats of approved primer compatible with the brand of Polysulphide and preparing the surface and applying masking tape along the edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surface and to give neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after application of sealant etc. as per the details below: (a) Expansion Joints of size 25 mm wide and 10 mm deep over 30mm dia expanded closed-cell Polyethylene foam back-up/backer rod of minimum density 22 Kg/Cum, as per manufacturer’s specifications and sketch at Appendix-‘A’. (b) Construction Joints of size 10 mm wide and 10 mm deep over 12mm dia expanded closed-cell Polyethylene foam back-up/backer rod of minimum density 22 Kg/Cum, as per manufacturer’s specifications and sketch at Appendix-‘A’. (c) Dummy Joints of size 10 mm wide and 10 mm deep over 12 mm dia expanded closed-cell Polyethylene foam back-up/backer rod of minimum density 22 Kg/Cum, as per manufacturer’s specifications and sketch at Appendix-‘A’. (v) Making profile as per DGCA CAR, panel drawing showing dummy, construction, expansion joints location.
Note: (i) Areas inaccessible to paving equipment shall be constructed by manual/hand guided method. Areas in which manual/hand guided methods of construction become indispensable shall be got approved by the Engineer-in-Charge in writing in advance. (ii) The quantity of cement, type of cement and super plasticizer for one Cum. of finished concrete specified are for tendering purpose only. The contractor shall quote his rates assuming quantity of OPC cement as 360 Kg/Cum or 400 Kg of Portland Pozzolana Cement/ Portland Slag cement. In addition, if the actual quantity of cement & super plasticizer required as per laboratory mix design varies from the quantity assumed above, necessary cost adjustment for deviation in the quantity of cement and super plasticizer as per mix design, if any, shall be done as per the rate of cement and super plasticizer in actual supply voucher from manufacturer/authorized dealer at the time of execution. In the case of authorized distributor, the rate may be authenticated by the manufacturer. The rate of cement and super plasticizer exclusive of GST shall only be considered for payment.
Carrying out Topographical and contour surveying, traversing , contouring & coordinating all permanent and semi-permanent feature by Total station survey instrument and Auto Level as required including mobilization and demobilization of the survey team after completion of survey work at Airport premises of operational area and newly acquired in different plots as per direction of the Engineer in-charge. The following steps shall be taken up: i) Carrying out site survey and taking reduced level 3m x 3m grid.ii) Submission of sets of contour map in suitable scale and size with marking import ants (3 (three) nos. coloured hard copies & 1(one)soft copy.iii) Submission of level sheet in Excel format (Hard copy & soft copy) with quantity calculation for cutting & filling earth as per the gradient which shall be decided by the Engineer in charge as per DGCA-CAR (Civil Aviation Requirement)iv) Submission of Invert Level of Storm water drain to be constructed and as per direction of Engineer-in-chargev) The requisite all survey works for execution of earthwork, quantity work out for Running/Final Bill shall also be included in the scope of survey work.

Supply of CI transformer housing box, round shape of outside dia 330mm, Height 450mm, made of 10mm thick all round except on Top surface which is 15 mm thick having a clear opening of 220mm at the top surface and 6 Nos. M10 tapped Holes at the hole centre of 260mm to receive light fittings base plate and bolts. The box shall have a clear hole at one side surface, centre at 75mm above bottom surface and suitable to receive 50 mm dia B class GI pipe and check nuts and also have a clear hole on the opposite side, centre at 75 mm above between to hole centre & suitable to receive 50 mm dia B Class GI Pipes and check nuts. The box shall have two earth bolts of M 10 x 30 mm inside near the hole (100 mm above bottom surface) and a drain hole at the bottom suitably tapped to receive 15mm dia., B Class GI Pipe as per Technical Specifications as required (Double hole) for Threshold/END light.
Supply of C.I. Collar suitable for mounting installing on the existing transformer housing box, made out of water tight round type metal container of outside size 330 mm diameter and upto 250mm height , 10 mm thick all round except on the top surface which is 15 mm thick and a clear opening of 220 mm diameter at the top as well as bottom having 6 Nos. x M-10 taped hole along the circumferential centre of 260 mm diameter top/bottom plate to receive bolts as required as per the drawing & specifications. total 12nos of SS bolts shall be provided to fix the coller and light fixture. The housing box should be complete with neoprine rubber gasket for the top covers, painting with Anti-corrosive primers and paint inside and outside etc. as per drawing and specification complete as required.
Installation of transformer housing boxes (Item No. 37 & 38) with a base concrete of 1:3:6 of size 800 mm X 600 mm with 100mm thick at bottom and all around concrete of 1:2:4, 150 mm thick, top sloped with 1:2:4 cement concrete including fixing 1 or 2 nos. of GI Pipes of size 50mm dia, providing and fixing of 15mm diameter and 300mm length B class GI pipe with check nuts for drainage of water, smoothening the top surface with cement, including excavation of hard surface/ bituminous concrete at the runway shoulder etc. complete as required.
Installation of CI Collar (Item No. 39 ) on the top of the existing CI transformer housing box with all around concrete of 1 : 2 : 4, 150 mm thick, top sloped with 1:2:4 cement concrete, smoothening the top surface with cement, including fixing of SS nut bolts, including cleaning of any bituminous concrete on the housing box etc. complete as required.
Supply & Laying of 50mm NB 'B' Class GI Pipe at a depth of 0.3m in earth by excavation for connecting Transformer housing boxes i/c threading, cutting, jointing of pipe and providing check nuts at both ends/one end, refilling etc. as required and as per the instruction of Engineer-in-charge.
