REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF WESTERN SIDE JETTY AND EASTERN SIDE JETTY AT MINICOY

I. Western side Jetty Dismantling removing old wearing coat, Cable duct walls, cover slab, Duct for water supply line, damaged hand rails, hand rail post etc. and disposing of the unserviceable materials within a lead of 300 mts including cost of all labour charges, tools etc, complete.

Dismantling and removing the R.C.C. Lamp Post of light 5.50 meter from the approach of western side jetty with at most care not to damage the IOCL pipelines provided at the side of approachof western jetty by providing necessary scaffoldings up to the required hight, transporting the debries with in a lead of 2 Kms, disposing the same without causing hindrance to the crafts and people utilizing the jetty as directed by the EIC, including cost of all labour charges, tools and plants, transportation charges etc; complete.

Providing and fixing of M.S rod for hand rail post /Lamp post on the old jetty. Including demolistring the existing concrete 0.45cmx0.45cmx0.25cm so as to expose the existing bottom layer of reinforcement bars of slab etc. providing additional reinforcement bars,welding the rods, providing normal shuttering, providing R.C.C 1:0.9:1.80, curing including cost of all labour charges, shifting materials, welding charges, welding rods all labour charges, transportaion but excluding cost of cement, M sand and 20mm granite jelly which will be supplied by the departmental free of cost of departmental stores at Minicoy etc; complete.

Providing and laying PCC (M20) with 1:2:4 mix (1cement 2 Msand,4 20mmchips) for wearing coat as instructed by EIC including cost of all materials (Cement, M Sand, 20mm Chips), cost of all labour charges, transportation charge of materials to the site, hire charge of mixer machine, vibrator and minor tools etc. complete

Providing and laying RCC with RCC 1:11/2:3 mix (1 cement 1 1/2 M sand 3 20mm chips) for Hand rail posts, handrails, and light post etc., as instructed by EIC including cost of all materials (Cement, M sand, 20 mm chips) cost of all labour charge, transportation charge of materials to the site, hire charges of mixer machine, vibrator and minor tools all labour charge etc., complete.

Applying one coat white cement primer over hand rails and jetty sides as directed by the EIC including cost of all materials, labour charges, minor tools, transportation charges etc, complete.

Applying two coat of ready mixed acrylic plastic emulsion paint (Exterior emulsion) antifunges over the primer coat on the hand rail posts, hand rails, light posts and on the right sides of the newly concreted jetty superstructure (longitudinal beam, deck slab side) as per the direction of EIC including cost of all the required materials, minor tools and labour charges etc complete.

Painting with enamel paint of aproved brand like Berger, Shalimar, Asian,Dulux etc with two coats on metalic usrface such as bollards gate, etc, including cost of paint, all labour charges, minor tools etc complete.

Fabrication and fixing of MS rod for hand rail, hand rail post and lowlanding, including cost of MS rods, all labour charges, minor tools etc., completed.

Providing form work including centering, shuttering so as to give a rough finish strutting and proping etc., height of proping & centering for hand rails and hand rials posts and removal of the same for in situ reinforced cement concrete & plain concrete work inlcuding cost of all labour charges minor tools and cost of centering materials etc., complete.
