REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF EOT, LIFTS, FIRE FIGHTING SYSTEM AND ALLIED WORKS UNDER GE NAGROTA

M & L for servicing of 5/10 Ton capacity flame proof EOT cranes (05 Nos in 4 ASD) of any make installed at different building/location at site, making the cranes in serviceable condition complete all as specified and directed with and including opeartions for maintenance specified as under:- (A) LONG TRAVEL MOTION (a) Checking gear box oil level, checking and rectifiaction of leakage if any and filling with new oil up to required level. (b) Checking functioning of all brakes of any capacity and making adjustment for proper working. (c) Checking motion wheel for any abnormal sound & checking mounting/ fixing arrangement. (d) Checking of grease in geared coupling and tighting of nut/bolts etc. (e) Checking of motion cut off at extreme ends with limit switches. (f) Checking drive shaft and coupling including tighting of nut and bolts. (g) Checking oil in FLP thrustors checking any leakage any filling with new oil. (h) Checking terminal connection of all LT motion of three phase FLP electric motor and tightening properly including repalcing burnt out/ over heated cable ends if any.

(B) CROSS TRAVEL MOTION (a) Checking gear box oil level, checking and rectifiaction of leakage if any and filling with new oil up to required level. (b) Checking functioning of all brakes of any capacity and making adjustment for proper working. (c) Checking motion wheel for any abnormal sound & checking mounting/ fixing arrangement. (d) Checking of grease in geared coupling and tighting of nut/bolts etc. (e) Checking of motion cut off at extreme ends with limit switches. (f) Checking drive shaft and coupling including tighting of nut and bolts. (g) Checking oil in FLP thrustors checking any leakage any filling with new oil. (h) Checking terminal connection of all CT motion of three phase FLP electric motor and tightening properly including repalcing burnt out/ over heated cable ends if any.

(C) HOIST MOTION (a) Checking gear box oil level, checking and rectifiaction of leakage if any and filling with new oil up to required level. (b) Checking functioning of all brakes of any capacity and making adjustment for proper working. (c) Checking motion wheel for any abnormal sound & checking mounting/ fixing arrangement. (d) Checking of grease in geared coupling and tighting of nut/bolts etc. (e) Checking of motion cut off at extreme ends with limit switches. (f) Checking drive shaft and coupling including tighting of nut and bolts. (g) Checking oil in FLP thrustors checking any leakage any filling with new oil. (h) Checking terminal connection of all hT motion of three phase FLP electric motor and tightening properly including repalcing burnt out/ over heated cable ends if any. (D) ELECTRICALS (a) Checking and tightening all electric connection (b) Checking the contactors/ relays etc for overheating or flashinng. (c) Clening off all connection and control cables. (d) Properly bunching the loose control cable. (e) Checking functioning of cable carriers. (f) Checking the connection and serviceability of VVVF drives for smooth working.

(E) GROUND MOTION CONTROL PANEL Opening the push button control unit, checking all connection, replacing flashed/ over heated connections, general cleaning and checking all the functions,of the LT/CT/ Hoist motion push buttons and lights/ VVVF switch including reassembling the unit complete Notes : (i) Repair/overhauling of EOT Crane shall be carried out once in a month through authorized service agency of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The contractor shall submit documentary proof/evidence in this regard before taking EOT Cranes under repair, overhauling, etc. (ii) Make and model of part to be replaced shall be same as used/recommended by OEM. (iii) Repairing/replacement of unserviceable main components catered for separately under respective items of this Schedule shall be measured & paid for separately. (iv) Load as required for testing shall be arranged by the user/department. However, transportation of load for testing from the place of issue and return to the place of issue shall be responsibility of the contractor. (v) Contractor shall give a certificate after repair/overhauling of EOT Crane that Crane is serviceable & fully functional in all respect and ready to use for load every month.(h) Checking terminal connection of all Hoist motion of three phase FLP electric motor and tightening properly including repalcing burnt out/ over heated cable ends if any. (j) The contractor shall arrange service engineer any number of times if the crane is not working properly and rate is included in the item rate to rectify the malfunctioning of the crane and make serviceable within 24 hrs if contractor fails to attend and make serviceable within 24 hrs, penal recovery as specified in PS Clause No. 28 will be applicable. (k) Load testing is carried out by the contractor once in every month after servicing by service engineer and rate is included in this. (l) Necessary test certificate from factory inspector shall be produced by the contractor before making payment.

S & F in repair to step down control transformer copper wound of PRI.V. 230, SEC.V. -110, 200 VA ,frequency 50Hz suitable for 2 to 5 Ton capacity EOT crane complete all as specified and directed.

S & F contactor 20 Amps with 2 NO + 2NC including taking out old unserviceable complete all as specified and directed.

S & F contactor 25Amps with 2 NO + 2NC including taking out old unserviceable complete all as specified and directed.

S & F contactor 32 Amps with 2 NO + 2NC including taking out old unserviceable complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for push button switch with element in Flame proof Push Button Station as per require color code, including taking out old unserviceable one complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, fixing testing & commissioning of AC drive for hoist control, V/F control operated on 3 phase 415 Volt AC for hoist control motor of 5/10 TON EOT crane as per existing type and make including taking out old unserviceable one complete all as specified and directed.
